As someone who has both owned and cared for skittish/anxious rescue dogs, I make it my mission to keep them as calm and comfortable as I can. I will take care to follow any instructions left behind to a tee, and am very skilled with being a gentle, unobtrusive presence.

Let me know if your pets has any anxiety around new people, I will do my absolute best to accommodate and make sure they are comfortable. Also let me know if your pet has any medical issues or injuries they need special care for, and if there are any spots they do or do not wish to be touched. Their comfort is top priority If you have a puppy and are currently working on teaching any tricks, I would also be happy to continue their practice on those while you are away!
A typical day
I love to take dogs on walks, and take time to let them explore and sniff around! I’ll be fairly active with my pet sitting, making sure that all the time I spend while I am over is taking care of their needs and making sure they are getting enough enrichment and exercise. I take special care to make sure you come home to a cozy, happy, sleepy dog.

Pet care experience
Your pets safety and happiness is my top priority! I have been on Rover for 2 years now, and in that time I have cared for many different animals of all different sizes, breeds, ages, and energy levels! Dogs, Cats, (even the occasional bird) you name it! My hope is that you feel your animals are in good hands, and I make sure to always have a direct line of communication and transparency with owners. I grew up in a household that always had two or more dogs at a time, and my love for pets has followed me into my adult life! I currently have two wonderful dogs at home, and will take just as much care with your animals as I do with them. I have many years of pet-care experience, both from my own dogs and the pets of family friends and neighbors and have taken care of animals in need of extra medical attention. I believe every animal deserves enrichment and comfort in their day, and it is my mission to leave your pets content and cared for.

This is our second time having Berkley watch our cats and probably will not be the last! While we always miss the kitties during vacations we knew they were in great hands.
