“Sherri was amazing with Iza! All the pictures that were sent, Iza had the best time with her! We were so grateful that she was able to help us last minute and also do a meet and greet to meet Iza first. We would highly recommend her to anyone and will be using her again in the future :)”

“Very grateful for Laura watching my cats. She communicated effectively and the cats loved her as well. I find it hard to find good people to watch my cats and I’d recommend her over and over. Thanks so much again.”

“Grace did an awesome job! I have the world’s shyest cat. Often sitters never see him. Grace is one of the rare humans my cat likes which is saying a lot. In addition to the cat, she gave me updates on my frogs and fish tanks. I highly recommend Grace and intend on using her again.”

“Thank you Jillian! It is so great to know that Cypress is in such good hands while we are away. We appreciate you take good care of him. Love the notes and photos!”

“Jill has been our go-to sitter before and we were lucky enough to have her checking in on our 2 cats again this past week. She reliable and shares great updates/photos, so we can enjoy our time away knowing everything is taken care of at home.”

“Lindsay is wonderful! We are so happy to have found her, she takes such good care of the kitties and goes above and beyond with helping with household things as well!”

About: I have a lifelong experience and genuine love for animals. I’ve had pets my entire 18 years of life, including both big and small dogs as well as cats. I’m comfortable with different personalities and know how to adjust my care to each pet’s needs. I can handle energetic puppies as well as provide gentle care for senior pets. I’m responsible, attentive, and treat every pet like my own. I have currently a full time student in college and I have a part time job. During my free time, I would love to fill that time helping others with their animals. I prioritize safety, comfort, and trust by following each pet’s routine and keeping their environment clean and secure. In both my home and clients’ homes, I make sure pets have constant supervision, plenty of attention, and a calm, stress-free space. I also follow all feeding, walking, and care instructions carefully to ensure each pet feels safe and cared for.

“I had complete peace of mind on my vacation as I booked with Rachel. The communication was always timely. My cat loved her too! Would 10/10 book with Rachel again.”

In a client’s home, I make sure pets are fed on schedule, have fresh water, receive plenty of exercise and playtime, and get lots of attention. I can also administer basic medications if instructions are provided and keep owners updated with photos and messages. I treat every pet as if they were my own, ensuring they feel comfortable, happy, and well cared for while their owners are away.
“Jan and Jamie were great during their drop-ins with our cat and we're respectful to my home during the visit. Would highly recommend their services and reach out again in the future.”
About: I’ve been taking care of animals for quite some time. I’ve had cats in my life since the age of 10 who have been house cats that I’ve taken care of, and I’ve personally only owned one dog but I helped with my neighbors dog when he was a puppy and walked him almost every day. I can’t wait to expand my experience here on Rover though! I work part-time on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays! On Tuesdays and Thursdays I do have college but my schedule may change depending on how long I keep my current job! I care for pets in my clients home by making sure they get the proper exercise, take their medication (if applicable), get fed on time, and give them all the attention they need!
“Very kind and thorough with the visits… Hired her for a weekend I was out of state and it’s nice to know you don’t have to worry to much about your pup while you’re gone. Will definitely hire again in the future”

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
