Pet Sitting in East Hartford

About: I’ve had a dog and 3 cats growing up. I am constantly around dogs and they all love me. My friends and neighbors have trusted to watch their animals when they are away. I just graduated college and looking for a fun job for over the summer! I have lots of free time so I am available to help with your animals whenever you need! I have one cat at home but he’s not the biggest fan of new animals. I love playing with animals and making sure they use most of the energy.

“I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Dana is very detail oriented and responsible. My kitty loved her too. i went out of town unexpectedly and Dana was able to help last minute. We used the video chat feature to explain Bali’s needs and logistics and i sent pictures. Dana sent pictures specifically showing me how she was exactly followed instructions and showing Bali was content and eating well. Bali has kidney disease and so there were many very detailed instructions. I will definitely ask Dana to help again and recommend to my friends.”

About: I have taken care of animals for 15 years and I am very passionate about making animals feel safe, comfortable and loved. I grew up with both cats and dogs and so I am able to take care of both. From pugs, mastiffs, labradors, to cats, I can do it all. I give medication, deep-clean litter boxes, play with you pets and overall make sure your pet feels at ease while you’re away. I am currently a full time employee that works nights (5p-2a), and so I have a lot of free time during the day to take care of your pet. I always get up early to make sure I’m taking care of me and my cat’s needs and am able to extend that care to your animals as well. When I do a drop-in visit, I always do a sweep around the main areas of the house to ensure that everything is in order. For dogs, my main priority is to take them out, check their water bowl and play with them to make sure they have the care they need for the day. For cats, I will always check their litter boxes to see if it needs any scooping, I will also check their food and water bowls and fill them up if needed. Like dogs, I will respect their boundaries and play with them to ensure they’re comfortable.

About: 17 years experience as a dog owner. I have a beautiful 4 year old lab mix! We all love a happy healthy pet! I able to administer medications and take your pup out for potty breaks! Currently not taking pups bigger than 40lbs at this time. Saturday and Sunday’s are pretty much open with advance notice. Occasionally free MWF after 5 for a drop in. Not available Tuesdays or Thursdays usually. I am available for drop in visits in your home to ensure your pets safety. Currently not offering overnight stays. Please provide details of your pups personality so we can get to know eachother!
