“This is our second time with Julie caring for our cat Pixie and will not be our last. She is prompt about getting to our house to feed Pixie and does not simply feed her and rush out the door when she is done. Pixie is an extreme affection sponge and we love that Julie sticks around and cuddles with our little one while we are away. I always feel so guilty when we are gone for more than a day, but knowing Julie is going to be sitting with Pixie and giving her the attention she craves really helps me relax. Julie is also so sweet with Pixie. Pix has a habit of getting under foot and can be very chatty. Julie has the patience of a saint navigating the one cat obstacle course to get through our kitchen while prepping her meals. We are thrilled to have come across Julie on Rover and already have discussed with her our next booking, which will be sudden and unpredictable as we go into the hospital to have our first child. She is so open to when we said "yeah, it will be sometime between this date and this date and could be 2-5 days long and will be a very last second booking". Not only did she respond immediately, but she told us no problem, she will be around and to let her know. Shes the best and we so highly recommend her to take care of the fur babies!”
About: Hi! I love dogs and treat them as if they were my children. I grew up with dogs in the household. From having a husky, shih-tzu, and now 2 havanese! I have 17 years of experience and I dogsit my family's pets frequently. I work mostly from home allowing me to have as flexible schedule. I take out my own dogs multiple times throughout the day for potty. I can do daily walks as I try to take my own out as much as possible. I have two friendly dogs- one is very playful and loves meeting other furbabies. I live in a townhouse where there's space to take out the dogs in the yard. Your dog will be in great hands! I work mostly from home, so I have a flexible schedule. This allows me to walk the dogs throughout the day and keep an eye on them. I have two friendly dogs, one loves to play! I can crate if desired. I also have 2 levels in my home where I can separate them if needed.
About: I have had dogs for 20 years. I have had 3 smaller dogs in the past (14-25 pounds). 2 were pug/beagle mixes and 1 was a Boston terrier/beagle mix. I currently have a bigger dog (83 pounds) who is a German Shepard/Australian Shepard/Rottweiler mix. I also had a cat growing up for 8 years. About: Hi everyone - currently work from my house and have a really flexible schedule, my 9 year old dog, Kona, loves playing with other dogs, so I thought this would be a good fit. He is really social and well behaved. I have experience taking him on lots of pack hikes, usually with 2 or more dogs, off leash, but also spend a lot of 1x1 time with him. I have had him since he was a puppy, and have plenty of experience with younger dogs as well. I drive an SUV so I can easily accommodate dogs in my car as well. Hope to meet you and you dog(s) soon! About: I’ve been in pet care since I was freshly 18. I’ve always had such a love for animals & have worked at any place possible from volunteer work, dog daycare, and boarding! I also have education in the veterinary field! I currently am available full time anytime for drop ins and walks! I unfortunately don’t have the space to watch dogs overnight at my home but we can always discuss further & work on plans! I do have an extremely dog friendly dog who can join on walks if your dog allows. She can come with me for playdates to tired your pup out as long as you have a fenced in yard where they can play together on top of the walk if you choose to do that. I’m just looking to fill my time with animals while simultaneously energizing my own pup! My pup, your pup & I will be the best of friends! I will care for your pets as if they are my own, always make sure that I lock up, always make sure that I’m diligent & clean, & certainly will make sure that your pets are happy & tired for you!

We had a wonderful experience with Michelle while my family and I were away on vacation. Like many pet parents, I get very anxious leaving my cat behind, but Michelle immediately put my mind at ease. Jacqueline took great care of my kitties when I was dealing with a family emergency. She brought in flowers that were delivered and made sure they were out of reach of the kitties so they wouldn’t nibble on them, just in case they were toxic. I really appreciate her care and concern!
Ruth was absolutely wonderful. I left for vacation knowing that Dolly took to Ruth as soon as they met each other in our meet-and-greet and while she's a friendly kitty, she doesn't take to just anyone. The first day she came one of my smoke detectors was chirping and Princess Dolly was NOT happy about it. So in addition to her normal duties, Ruth removed the offending battery and the next day replaced that one and the others to be sure it didn't happen again. I've found some good people on Rover, but Ruth stands out!
Melanie was great with Bluey. She was thorough with her communication and helped us feel at ease while being away. And best of all Bluey loved her and was calm and relaxed when we hot home!! I would definitely recommend Melanie and I will be sure to use her services for future needs!
We love Alassandra! To say she goes above and beyond is an absolute understatement. Alassandra became very close with our pets over two weeks, taking time to play with them, pet them, and get to know their little personalities. Alassandra is very thorough, following our instructions to a T, and extremely communicative. We were gone for two weeks and felt our pets were 100% safe. Alassandra was also kind enough to water my plants while I was gone, which I’m eternally grateful for!
