When your pup stays with me, they get a STRUCTURED DAY with exercise, enrichment toys, scheduled rest time, individual care and playtime. I have cared for my own dogs and multiple other (domestic/exotic) pets over the last 29+ years. I have years of experience bordering, doggy daycare and training dogs/puppies. I am NOT like most doggy daycares. I limit my number of dogs, NEVER locked in a kennel or worse NEVER EVER play with potentially reactive dogs in a dog park. What your pup WILL experience is a fenced in backyard to sniff, run, play and get fresh air. One on one love, snuggles and playtime. Your pup WILL BE happy, tired and better behaved when you pick up. Experienced in dog bordering, walking, senior care, puppy care and basic training. If you are looking for someone to love & care for your pup like you do- I’m your gal! Come home to a happy & well cared for dog.

Melanie was absolutely great with my pup Nicey. She was here early for the pick up and next day was back exactly as agreed to drop her off again. The pictures provided were very nice to get, Nicey seemed to have a blast with her in her home. Definitely recommend for your pups as well!
Melanie is amazing! She made us feel so comfortable with leaving our pup for the first time. Her level of communication was perfect and I think Shasta was genuinely sad to come home.

Schedule
I am a retired business owner and local artist who has time to play and walk your pups while you are away. Daycare and Bordering: Drop off your pup around 8am and pick up before 6pm. Please inquire if you need special schedule accommodations. Need a regular dog walker in your neighborhood?- I can do that too.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced in yard to keep your pup safe and well exercised. Meet and greets are necessary for behavior evaluations and the safety of all. This process assures we are both comfortable with expectations. I have experience in basic obedience training and will use that skill set while with your dog.

A typical day
I will stimulate your dog with ball throwing, walks, snuffle mats, tug of war, backyard play and lots and lots of cuddles. Your pup will get tons of attention exercise and appropriate nap time when you are not home.
