“Hired Karlena to walk my older dachshund during work days. So far everything has gone well. Happy to find someone with dachshund experience and the patience to walk at his slow speed. Will continue with recurring walks.”

“I found Michelle at the last minute and she responded within 10 minutes. She was able to accommodate a meet and greet and 2 dog walks for my little guys all in 3 days. She did great walking them and paying them lots of attention. Thanks Michelle!!!!!”

“Julie has been very professional and kind and very quick to respond to messages, which I greatly appreciate. I know Cooper's in good hands getting a walk while I'm at work.”

“Melanie has been absolutely the best with our dogs. She is available, communicates with any change of schedule, and spoils our dogs like her own. We have been so lucky to have her over the past few years!”
“Nicole is amazing with Cooper! She is very patient, sweet, and understanding of Cooper’s quirks. I can tell Cooper already loves her. Not only is she great with Cooper, but she is fantastic with communicating with me via texts and providing many photos and videos of Cooper during their walks. I highly recommend Nicole to anyone!”

About: I worked at a doggy daycare so I’m reasonably confident in my ability to handle dogs of varying breeds and temperments and ages! I’m also not a person who’s scared around dogs, just cautious. I work part time sunday monday and tuesday at Fedex so wednesday thursday and friday would fill out the rest of my week hanging out with pets! I love playing with dogs and giving them the attention needed. I can feed them, I’m capable of following instructions, including medical instructions. I don’t have any experience poking pets with needles for medicine, but I can do pills and topical sprays and other things like that!
About: Hi! My name is Valerie and I am looking for pet sitting opportunities for the new year. My whole life I have had gerbils, hamsters, birds, cats, and dogs. I currently have two Yorkies, Benny and Bear, and a rabbit named Poppy! I have experience pet sitting in the past for both dogs and cats. I have a fairly free schedule with plenty of time to watch and care for your pets! I am available during the weekdays and select weekends, and this is something that I would love to do during my free time! I am able to provide care in your home, fenced in yard or neighborhood, whatever you and your pet prefer. Please see above: Pet owner and I canceled due to the snow. I am flexible with my schedule, I have plenty of time to watch and care for your pets. I am available during the weekdays! It is something that I would love to do during my free time. I am able to provide care in your home, fenced in yard or neighborhood. Whatever you and your pet prefer. Please let me know if your pet requires any special needs.
“I just moved Southington. I picked Michael to walk my dog Bella. He has been excellent with taking care of her and making sure everything is done. His customer service is impeccable, he is reliable and he’s super friendly. I’m very comfortable with knowing that he’s taking care of my dog while I’m at work because she’s my favorite thing in the world. I highly recommend him. Thank you Michael!”

“Jen and Michele are awesome! Molly Moo and Edgar Allan Poodle love to walk or have a drop-in visit with the gals. They take adorable pictures of the adventures. I am so lucky to have them for the poodles. (2 years)”

About: I have been a pet owner for 15 years. My dogs have ranged from a small mini poodle to a big Airdale terrier. I currently have a 3 year old poodle who is full of energy! I have experience with administering medication as well as any daily caretaking such as feeding, walking, and bathing. I work in New Haven 4 days a week and Middletown one day a week. During the week, I can do drop ins and walks in the evening. I am available to do drop ins and walks on the weekend all day. I always like to meet the pets before I take on a new client. It’s important for me to familiarize myself with the pet both for my and the pet’s sake. I do this by allowing the pet to smell me and by observing behavior to understand temperament.
“While my partner and I were traveling, we hired Josh to walk our dog while she stayed at my in-laws house. He made a great impression on them, on us, and most importantly, our dog, Willow! She couldn't wait for her daily walk with Josh. Even during a heat wave, he made sure our girl was exercised and stimulated. He dutifully sent us sweet pics of her after each walk that truly made our day. We looked forward to his updates and he really delivered! My in-laws were so impressed with him and said he was an absolute pro - we couldn't agree more. I highly recommend Josh if you are looking for a reliable and experienced dog sitter or walker. He was extremely flexible to our needs. You really couldn't do better than Josh!”

“Amber is so good with dogs! When I came home from work after she had walked our dog, he was tired and happy. She sent multiple pictures and updated me about his walk. I know that Artie is in great hands!”
“Was very attentive to my pup’s needs even asking about things that I didn’t need her to take care of! Made me feel like he was in good hands while I was out of town.”

About: I have had dogs of all sizes in my life-from mastiff to dachshund. From puppy to senior. I have plenty of experience administering medicine, giving baths and caring for pets. I work from home and am available to take care of your pet(s) after 12pm. On the weekends, I am pretty open to take care of your pet whenever you need so long as I am not out of town. I live in a townhouse complex so it would be best if I came to take care of the pet at your home. There is also a fenced in dog park just down the street from my house that I would plan on frequenting so long as you're comfortable with me taking your dog there.

Berlin dog parents share their Rover experiences
We had our German Shepherd Roofus, walked for the first time today, and it went wonderfully! Roofus can be a strong, energetic dog, but Kelly handled him with confidence from the start. She took the time to get to know him, made sure he felt comfortable, and returned with a happy, relaxed pup. We could tell Roofus enjoyed his walk — tail wagging, tongue out, and all smiles. We’re so glad to have found someone so reliable and caring. Highly recommend Kelly!
