About: I've been around animals my whole life and grew up helping care for pets of all kinds. From daily walks and playtime to feeding, grooming, and giving lots of love and attention, caring for animals has always been a natural part of my life. I understand that every pet has their own personality and needs, and I treat each one like they're part of my own family. Whether your pet needs a walk, companionship while you're away, or attentive care, I'm committed to providing a safe, reliable, and loving experience. My schedule is very flexible, which allows me to accommodate a wide range of pet care needs. Whether your dog needs early morning walks, midday check-ins, evening visits, or overnight care, I'm happy to work with your schedule. I strive to provide reliable, consistent care and will do my best to make sure your pet gets the attention, exercise, and companionship they need when you need it most. I understand that trusting someone with your pet is a big decision, and I take that responsibility seriously. I am dependable, attentive, and committed to providing the same level of care and affection that I would give my own pets. I'll make sure your pet is safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you're away, following their routine and giving them plenty of attention, exercise, and love. My goal is to give you peace of mind, knowing your furry family member is in caring and capable hands.
About: I have had dogs for 20 years. I have had 3 smaller dogs in the past (14-25 pounds). 2 were pug/beagle mixes and 1 was a Boston terrier/beagle mix. I currently have a bigger dog (83 pounds) who is a German Shepard/Australian Shepard/Rottweiler mix. I also had a cat growing up for 8 years. I love to spend time with animals going on walks, playing with them and making sure they are well taken care of. I have experience with puppies, adolescent and senior dogs. I can’t wait to meet your pet and be there to help whenever you need! I’m currently a stay at home mom and am at home most days. I have 2 school aged children and I have flexibility and availability in my daily schedule. I am open to helping out with any and all needs for your pet. I can come to your home and care for your pet based on what you specify your pet needs and your preference's. I am willing to do dog walking, playing with dogs or cats, and the general needs such as feeding and ensuring they have clean, fresh water. I will take care of your pet with the same love I show my own pet.
“Brittany is INCREDIBLE! I have a very energetic, high strung, unneutered shepherd who is not the easiest dog to find a walker for. He absolutely loves Brittany and she goes above and beyond for him constantly. She is experienced with shepherds, reactive dogs, and high energy breeds and I feel very comfortable having her care for my dog. She always goes the extra mile by giving him fresh water, working on training with him to support what I’m working on with him, and is firm but loving with him. She handles him so well and he absolutely adores her. I can’t recommend her enough! Brittany has been walking my dog for months, is consistently reliable, has great availability, and excellent communication. She is so trustworthy and a pleasure to work with!”

About: Hi! My name is Douglas, Doug for short. Currently a proud papa to a golden lab named Sunny, and a grey longhair cat named Remy. My best friend is a pug/chihuahua mix named Taz. I also had an old man chihuahua named Finn, and I’ll forever miss him. I feel like I speak dog, I know how to tailor my personality to meet the needs of any dog. Cliche to say but I am better with animals than with people. I am responsible, gentle, caring, and a big rule follower. I have pretty open availability throughout the week so I have lots of time to hang out with your dogs! Let me know what you need and I should be able to make it work! I have experience with crate training my dog so I am comfortable playing with your dog in the house or yard, and switching them to their crate if needed.

“Julie has been amazing with my dog, Cooper. She’s been doing his mid-day walks and has been incredibly reliable and flexible, which I’ve really appreciated. She’s been easy to communicate with and very accommodating with my schedule. Honestly, I’d keep working with her without hesitation if I weren’t moving. Would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy to take care of their dog.”

About: I have had experience with pets since a young age. I had dogs and cats growing up. The last dog my family had while I was in high school was a Bassett Hound whom I loved. She had such a great personality. Currently, I do not have any dogs, not out of desire, but because I don't feel I am home enough to be able to care for them. Therefore, I have 2 cats! In order for me to get my dog "fixe" on a regular basis, lol, I have cared for my friends and family's dogs on a regular basis for the last 10 years. I have done overnight visits for my sister-in-law's dog, which is a King Charles Cavalier and took care of my friend's dogs, both a Dachshund and an Australian Shepherd during the day while she was at work. Currently I have a friend and neighbor whom I take her dog out for walks on a regular basis while she's at work. I am currently working part time as I have my own craft business.I felt that interactions with pets would be a great part time position that would fit nicely into my schedule. I feel that I am a mature individual who can take direction very well from your instructions. Whatever your pet needs I am happy to provide while you are away.
“Melanie has been absolutely the best with our dogs. She is available, communicates with any change of schedule, and spoils our dogs like her own. We have been so lucky to have her over the past few years!”
“I can’t say enough good things about our dog walker. She’s confident and experienced with large dogs and has the energy to keep up with my very high-drive pup, which is no easy task. Reliable, professional, and clearly loves what she does. I highly recommend to anyone, especially with an active dog.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Berlin
I can’t say enough good things about our dog walker. She’s confident and experienced with large dogs and has the energy to keep up with my very high-drive pup, which is no easy task. Reliable, professional, and clearly loves what she does. I highly recommend to anyone, especially with an active dog.

We had our German Shepherd Roofus, walked for the first time today, and it went wonderfully! Roofus can be a strong, energetic dog, but Kelly handled him with confidence from the start. She took the time to get to know him, made sure he felt comfortable, and returned with a happy, relaxed pup. We could tell Roofus enjoyed his walk — tail wagging, tongue out, and all smiles. We’re so glad to have found someone so reliable and caring. Highly recommend Kelly!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
