Over the years I've shared my home with English Mastiffs, a Miniature Pinscher, a Pit Bull, a rescue mixed breed, a German Shepherd, a Tibetan Terrier, and an Alaskan Malamute. I've also cared for cats, ferrets, and lizards. Living with such a wide variety of animals has taught me that every pet has their own personality, needs, and routine. I've cared for pets through every stage of life, from raising puppies and kittens to providing compassionate care for senior pets in their final years. I'm experienced with administering medications, staying patient during treatments, and making sure pets feel as comfortable and stress-free as possible. Having lived with English Mastiffs and an Alaskan Malamute, I'm very comfortable caring for giant breeds and dogs that require a confident, steady handler. About: I have had dogs for 20 years. I have had 3 smaller dogs in the past (14-25 pounds). 2 were pug/beagle mixes and 1 was a Boston terrier/beagle mix. I currently have a bigger dog (83 pounds) who is a German Shepard/Australian Shepard/Rottweiler mix. I also had a cat growing up for 8 years. I love to spend time with animals going on walks, playing with them and making sure they are well taken care of. I have experience with puppies, adolescent and senior dogs. About: I have had dogs of all sizes in my life-from mastiff to dachshund. From puppy to senior. I have plenty of experience administering medicine, giving baths and caring for pets. I work from home and am available to take care of your pet(s) after 12pm. On the weekends, I am pretty open to take care of your pet whenever you need so long as I am not out of town. I live in a townhouse complex so it would be best if I came to take care of the pet at your home. There is also a fenced in dog park just down the street from my house that I would plan on frequenting so long as you're comfortable with me taking your dog there.

This was a last minute request. I had to go away for a full day. Taliah was great, she was able to fit me in, she spent more than the minimum I needed with the dogs and they were happy and well cared for when I got home very late in the evening. I got pictures seeing Wrigley and Dolly out and about.

Britney is so lovely and kind. She recently started walking my 57 pound dog, Sitka, for an hour twice a week. When she came for a meet and greet she asked a lot of great questions so she could provide the best care for him. He is quite strong (and strong-willed), and I have genuine peace of mind having a Rover who worked as a vet tech and knowing that they can handle my pet. She sends a lot of fun pictures and leaves a detailed note of what they did together that day and how he behaved. She gives him lots of affection, and he is always happy when I get home to him on days she cared for him. If a stressful situation were to arise while he was in her care, I completely trust that she would make the right decision for him. I am confident that he is happy, safe, and getting the exercise he needs when he is in her care. I definitely recommend Britney, she is wonderful and cares about both the pets and the pet parents.
We had our German Shepherd Roofus, walked for the first time today, and it went wonderfully! Roofus can be a strong, energetic dog, but Kelly handled him with confidence from the start. She took the time to get to know him, made sure he felt comfortable, and returned with a happy, relaxed pup. We could tell Roofus enjoyed his walk — tail wagging, tongue out, and all smiles.
