A typical day
A typical day with me is all about keeping tails wagging! We’ll start with a nice walk to stretch our legs, sniff all the good spots, and get some fresh air. Back at home, there’s always time for a game of fetch, tug-of-war, or a little puzzle toy fun to keep their minds sharp. For pups who love cuddles, we’ll have plenty of snuggle breaks and belly rubs, and for the more adventurous, we might explore a new walking route or visit a dog-friendly park. My goal is to make sure every dog in my care feels loved, exercised, and happily tired by the end of the day!

I’ve had dogs in my life for as long as I can remember — growing up with a gentle (but giant!) Great Dane taught me early on how to care for big breeds with love and confidence. In my adult life, I’ve been the proud dog mom to spirited, lovable dachshunds, so I understand the quirks of small breeds too. My passion for pups even inspired me to start my own homemade dog treat business at just 10 years old! Over the years, I’ve cared for dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities — from energetic puppies to sweet seniors — and I’ve never met a dog I didn’t love!

Karlena was excellent with our two dogs and two cats. She was responsive and trustworthy, and we were completely at ease knowing our pets were in great hands while we were away. We would absolutely book her again!
Karlena took wonderful care of my older cat while I was away! I would get notes and pics everyday as well as a list of things she took care of daily for her. I felt she was reliable and trustworthy while she took great care of my baby!
She was very attentive and communicative with us and our needs! Our cats were very comfortable with her, we would definitely rebook her again!
