About: I volunteered at a vet clinic for a summer when i was 13. Ive been a dog groomer for 2 years as well! So ive worked with all size dogs with different needs and temperaments! I also had an ESA husky in college that lived on campus with me. As she got older she had specific needs. (medication everyday, prescription food, i had to help her up and down stairs, help her on walks and hold her up to use the bathroom, among plenty of other needs) She helped me become who i am now. Each pet that is in my care, is taken care of and protected like my own. My husky Nala is the reason I got into working with animals. Before her, my entire life I loved them. About: I have been living with dogs for my entire life and, since moving to Connecticut 6 months ago, I have been missing these furry friends! I have had the pleasure of working with 2 older dogs who had various age-related health conditions until the end of their lives and, in the last 4 years, have been able to raise and train 2 (very playful and mischievous) puppies. I work 9-5 in North Haven, CT and am available for early morning care and anytime after 6 pm during the work week. I am usually free all weekend and enjoy going on early morning walks and hikes! I find that with each dog, their preferences tend to guide my behavior around them. I have always been around dogs and puppies who required a lot of exercise and have bountiful amounts of personality and energy, but I also know that many pets, especially around new people, may require more time to warm up and may need extra care and attention. Ensuring the the owner's and dog's needs are met are my highest priority and I take extra care to note what a dog's daily and nightly routine is so to make sure I do not throw them off off from their daily life!

About: Many years experience of potty and crate training puppies. I have raised a St. Bernard, Husky, 2 Pomeranians, and currently have a BichaPoo. I even was able to assist my Pom Coco when she gave birth to her son. It was a beautiful moment. My schedule is very flexible and most days I work from home. Plenty of time to spend with your pet. If I do have to go into the office I will be gone no longer than 5 hours. In the evenings my husband and 4 kids (ages 15,12,7 & 7) are home as well. About: I've had dogs my whole life. They're such a big part of me and I absolutely love meeting them. I'll follow any specifacation you may have for your dog. I love taking walks and playing with them. I will also feed additional pets that you may have or clean yards if needed. I am currently in college in the afternoon for an few hours on monday through thursday. I can stay at the owner's house if needed. However, I can also do visits to feed and let out if that is more comfortable for the owner. I often like to go on walk with dogs I am taking care of, they are always on the leash on these walks. I also enjoy going out in the yard to play with them. I am not opposed to crates.
