“Maria was great! So friendly, attentive, responsive & easy to work with. You can tell she loves dogs and she took excellent care of my Remy! Knowing Remy was in good hands made it much less stressful to go on vacation. I loved getting pictures & updates and already booked her to watch Remy again. Thank you, Maria! :)”

“Britanny did a fabulous job with Rosie! She was very responsive and kind. Her home was very welcoming and Rosie obviously loved it there. This was really a great situation for us and Rosie!!”

“My dog, Atticus, age 2, had his first full day with Margaret a few days ago. He was very well taken care of including a couple of walks. He was happy to play fetch and take naps after walking. It was easy to tell by his face and composure that he had a great day...there was no visible stress when he returned home. Another dependable companion 'star' in his young life when I am not around! Many thanks, M :)”

“Sherry was great! Very professional, flexible, good communication. Most importantly, my dog absolutely loves her! They had lots of fun adventures together and I knew my pet was in good hands. I will use Sherry as my go to sitter from now on and will recommend her to others.”

“Kathryn and Jeremy were great, can't recommend them enough. They were extremely communicative both before Bella's stay and during, updating us with pictures etc throughout the day. The couple are very well versed in dog behavior/needs and asked all the right questions to make us feel confident Bella was going to be well cared for and safe. When we picked Bella up she was very comfortable in their home and was resting with Kathryn and Jeremy. If you are looking for trustworthy couple to watch your pup with love and attention, this is it!”

“Cassandra did an amazing job caring for our 4 year old English bulldog for 8 days. Our bulldog is quite stubborn with several medical conditions and she administered all medications and went above and beyond so we can travel without him for the first time in 4 years. Cassandra sent us daily updates and was very quick to respond to us and helped put our minds at ease while away.”

“Inam and Jennifer are so wonderful and flexible. They met up with me and my pup (Frankie) before boarding her for the weekend and were very flexible and communicative around drop off/pick up times. Frankie had a wonderful stay and is excited to go back to stay with Inam and Jennifer soon!”

“Alan and Luis are great!! It was out first time leaving our puppy overnight and they made us feel comfortable and kept us updated about how our puppy was doing!!!!! Our puppy got lots of play time and social interaction with other dogs which will help great in the future! I recommend Alan and Luis to anyone who has a dog and wants their dog to be loved like it's their own!!!!”

“Christine was wonderful with my fifteen-year-old dog Ginger who needs a person with lots of patience and tons of attention. Christine provided that and I am so grateful. I was so worried at first about leaving her behind, but Christine made me feel at ease with her calm demeanor and was always sending me pictures of her every day. I could see she was comfortable with Christine and her Pug Jax who is so adorable! I will definitely be using her amazing services again and I highly recommend using Christine. Thank you so much Christine and Jax!! ?❤️”

“I would highly recommended Ifan! This was the first time I have ever boarded my dog Charli and he regularly updated me about how Charli was doing and provided Charli with great outdoor/indoor playtime with other pup friends as well. Ifan himself was very responsive to any messages I sent him. If I ever need to board Charli again I will definitely do so with Ifan and would suggest others to do the same.”

About: About Me Hi there! I’m a lifelong dog lover and retired Los Angeles firefighter who recently relocated to Middletown. Dogs aren't just a passion of mine—they’ve been my life’s work. Over the past 17+ years, I’ve worked as a professional Search and Rescue K9 handler, raising and working alongside three incredible SAR dogs of my own and helping train dozens more toward official certification. Now in my retirement, my days revolve around outdoor adventures, active play, and giving dogs the best possible care while their owners are away. My trusty companion Mojo, a friendly rescue pup, loves meeting new playmates and welcoming guests! What Sets My Care Apart * Safe, Active, and Enriched: I walk or hike almost daily and love taking guest dogs along for the journey! Whether your pup enjoys a leisurely neighborhood stroll, learning to hike safely, or exploring new surroundings, they’ll get plenty of physical exercise and fun. * Positive, Brain-Boosting Fun: My training philosophy is rooted in positive reinforcement and reward-based training. I love watching what behaviors dogs naturally offer and shaping them into fun new "tricks." It’s an incredible bonding experience that gives dogs great mental stimulation and keeps them happily engaged. * Spacious Acreage: I have a wonderful local property with tons of room for dogs to run, play, and burn off energy in a calm, safe environment (fully fenced as of late September!). * Unmatched Peace of Mind: Being fully retired means I am almost always home! I never host or board dogs on days when I need to be away for more than a couple of hours, ensuring your pet gets round-the-clock attention, safety, and companionship. Guests and Compatibility I am completely comfortable with dogs of all sizes, breeds, and life stages—from energetic puppies to senior companions. I also occasionally foster rescue dogs, so Mojo and I are well-versed in hosting social pups who enjoy extra canine company. Need help fine-tuning your dog’s leash manners during their stay? Just ask—we can easily discuss building positive leash habits while they’re here! Reach out today to schedule a meet-and-greet. Mojo and I can’t wait to welcome your pup to their home away from home! Being retired means my entire day is built around quality pet care! Our mornings always start with a good outdoor workout, followed by short, engaging training and exercise sessions spread throughout the day. Because I am home full-time, your pup will enjoy a structured routine packed with continuous companionship, mental enrichment, and plenty of activity. Your dog’s safety and peace of mind are my top priorities. My home is nestled in a quiet, low-traffic rural area, offering a calm and peaceful setting away from busy streets. Outdoor playtime happens in a spacious, full-acre yard—completely fenced as of September 21st—giving pets a secure, massive space to run and play freely. To ensure constant security and supervision, my property is also equipped with indoor and outdoor smart cameras, so I always have an eye on my guests whether we're inside or out in the yard.

About: Hi! My name is Douglas, Doug for short. Currently a proud papa to a golden lab named Sunny, and a grey longhair cat named Remy. My best friend is a pug/chihuahua mix named Taz. I also had an old man chihuahua named Finn, and I’ll forever miss him. I feel like I speak dog, I know how to tailor my personality to meet the needs of any dog. Cliche to say but I am better with animals than with people. I am responsible, gentle, caring, and a big rule follower. I have pretty open availability throughout the week so I have lots of time to hang out with your dogs! Let me know what you need and I should be able to make it work! I have experience with crate training my dog so I am comfortable playing with your dog in the house or yard, and switching them to their crate if needed.
“Sabrina and Daniel are truly the best. They navigated a tricky automatic wet food feeder not working properly, alongside my anxious, hissing cat with such ease and care while my husband and I were away. I have benefited from their cat sitting several times and will absolutely do so again in the future.”

About: I got my first cat because I secretly started feeding an outdoor cat outside my home when I was 8 years old. What can I say, I've always loved cats! I am very familiar with taking care of cats and kittens and would be more than happy to take care of yours!

About: Hi! I’m a caring, responsible, and dependable pet sitter who absolutely loves animals. I understand that every cat has their own personality and routine, so I always take the time to make them feel comfortable, safe, and cared for while you’re away. I’m happy to help with feeding, fresh water, litter box cleaning, playtime, cuddles, and giving your cat the attention they need. Whether your cat is super social and loves attention or prefers to keep to themselves, I’ll respect their boundaries and make sure they feel comfortable. Your pet’s safety and happiness are my top priorities. I’ll also keep you updated with pictures and messages so you can have peace of mind while you’re away! 🐾❤️

About: Cats have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember, and caring for them is truly something I love. I have two cats of my own, a 17-year old lovebug and a 13-year old grumpy guy. For the past 12 years, I’ve fostered more than 140 cats and kittens through my local humane society as well as have experience working in a veterinary clinic, giving me experience with cats of all personalities, ages, and needs. I have a special soft spot for the “hissy kitties” - the shy, nervous, or fearful cats who need a little extra patience, TLC, and someone willing to earn their trust. There’s nothing more rewarding than watching a once-scared cat slowly come out of their shell! Of course, I’m just as happy spending time with the cuddly, playful, and attention-loving kitties, too. Whether your cat needs medication, playtime, companionship, or simply someone to keep their routine consistent while you’re away, I’ll treat them like one of my own. My goal is always to make sure your cat feels safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re gone.

“It is commendable that Michelle was able to get my “feral” cat Madelyn out to sniff her hand!! And she relieved me from worry by caring for all my fur babies while I was gone over the holiday weekend including giving one of my cats his inhaler If anyone is looking for a pet sitter around East Hampton to drop in Michelle gets the job done. It was a perk to come home to a clean area as well.”

About: I’ve had dogs and cats my entire life and have experienced every stage of all of their lives. Definitely not new to a majority of things!! I’m currently home after graduating college this past spring and I’m looking to make some extra money and with Rover I can have fun doing it! I understand the love and care that people have for their pets and want to be able to provide that for yours. I know different dogs have different needs and I’m here to care for them!

“This was my first time using Rover.com. I had picked up my German shepherd, Evie, from a shelter in North Carolina last November. Based on her recorded condition when brought in as a stray 5 weeks before she had been through a rough period. She has fully recovered now and is in good health. My wife and I wanted to find someone to board her with where she would be happy when we're away. We identified a few possibilities at the Rover website and following a positive meet and greet with Nadjeska last week, had Evie spend the day with her yesterday. It went very well. Nadjeska sent us several texts with photos during the day updating us on Evie's stay. We were looking for a home where Evie could spend time with and play with other dogs and Evie made a new friend, Sparkles, Najeska's little dog. Nadjeska has a fenced yard which provides a safe place for them to run around in the fresh air. Evie seemed to enjoy the day, Nadjeska obviously loves dogs, and we will be repeat clients in the near future.”

I recently lost my first dog, Peekaboo the Cockapoo, and have been heart broken ever since. About: Dogs have been my whole world for as long as I can remember. As a kid, I was the neighborhood's unofficial dog-walker, so much so that our animal control officer would come to me when an older resident's high-energy dog needed extra exercise to stay comfortably in their home. One I'll never forget: Maggie, an assertive, energetic GSD who lived with a sweet older woman. The moment her owner opened the door, Maggie bolted. Her owner tried calling her back, but I just jingled my keys, and that was enough to catch Maggie's curiosity and gently guide her home. That instinct followed me into adulthood. In college, I worked at a dog training facility, teaching puppy obedience classes and running the daycare program, and I spent three semesters as a teaching assistant for canine behavior courses. By day, I'm a licensed therapist, so patient, warm energy, and being attuned to mood and behavior come naturally; skills that translate well to reading a nervous or excited dog. Today, I have my own dog, a remote private practice, and I'm working toward a certification in animal-assisted therapy, with a long-term dream of building a therapy farm where people can experience the same healing and joy that animals have given me my whole life. Whether your pup is laid-back or more energetic, I bring patient, warm energy, and genuine love for the work. I currently have my own remote private practice, and I make my own schedule for when I see clients. I mostly work Sundays and M-W afternoons/ evenings, but like I said, my schedule is pretty flexible. Dog walking could easily fit into almost time on any day of the week! I will care for your pets the same way I care for my own fur baby. She is family to me just like I know yours is to you. Their health and safety is my top priority at all times with fun and cuddles coming close behind in second place :)
About: I volunteered at a vet clinic for a summer when i was 13. Ive been a dog groomer for 2 years as well! So ive worked with all size dogs with different needs and temperaments! I also had an ESA husky in college that lived on campus with me. As she got older she had specific needs. (medication everyday, prescription food, i had to help her up and down stairs, help her on walks and hold her up to use the bathroom, among plenty of other needs) She helped me become who i am now. Each pet that is in my care, is taken care of and protected like my own. My husky Nala is the reason I got into working with animals. Before her, my entire life I loved them. I can work with any temperament. I have a very unique but also flexible schedule!! The days that are shown available are days I can 95% of the time always do! Days shown unavailable (if needed by a good customer) i can work it into my schedule privately via message/text. these days i also go to the gym so there is gap period im unable to but it changes per day. Im always willing to talk about availability and scheduling! I will always do my best for accommodating times Creating a welcoming personality for any dog needed when entering their home/territory! Every dog is different and needs a different approach. Details are the most important to make sure your fur baby is comfortable.

I’ve been an animal owner and caregiver my entire life, so caring for animals is more than just a job to me - it’s something I genuinely love. Need someone to love your pets while you’re away? I’d be happy to help! I have a very flexible schedule and can accommodate many timeframes to take care of your pet to ensure their needs are met (and exceeded)! When caring for your pet in your home, my goal is to keep them happy, comfortable, and on their normal routine while you’re away. I’ll follow your instructions closely, including feeding schedules, medications, walks, playtime, potty breaks, and any special care your pet may need. I know every pet has their own personality and routine, so I’ll take the time to get to know your pet and make sure they receive plenty of attention, enrichment, and love. I’ll also keep you updated while you’re away with messages and photos so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is safe and well cared for. I’ll treat your home with the same care and respect I would my own, leaving things clean and tidy when you return. Most importantly, I’ll care for your pets as I would my own -with patience, compassion, and lots of love!

I understand the love and care that people have for their pets and want to be able to provide that for yours. I know different dogs have different needs and I’m here to care for them!
“Christine has walked my new rescue twice now & has been great with updating me on how she was doing. I was nervous being a first time dog owner, allowing someone else to walk her & Christine put me at ease.”

“Britanny did a fabulous job with Rosie! She was very responsive and kind. Her home was very welcoming and Rosie obviously loved it there. This was really a great situation for us and Rosie!!”

“Anita and her family cared for my super timid dog Poncho for a week while we were out of town. Poncho had never been left anywhere before. He decided to go on a hunger strike and not eat/drink much. I had provided dry food and to try and get him to eat Anita went out and got wet food for him as well as gave him water with a syringe to make sure he was not dehydrated. I’m confident boarding him in a facility with a ton of dogs would have stressed him out more. Anita did a great job trying to make my nervous, quirky dog as comfortable as possible. Thankful that she and her family provided such good care to Poncho!”

“Laura did a fantastic job with our 8-month-old Great Dane, who was anxious about being left alone. She provided plenty of updates and reassurance while taking excellent care of our pup!”

“Careen was wonderful with our senior dog and he loved her just as much as she loved him! She gave him lots of love and attention- I could tell he was very well cared for while we were away. We got lots of pictures and updates so I was completely at ease. We can’t wait to have Careen watch Shadow again!”

“Melanie is amazing! She made us feel so comfortable with leaving our pup for the first time. Her level of communication was perfect and I think Shasta was genuinely sad to come home.”

“Great with our pup as always. Great updates/photos throughout the stay and always makes us feel at ease about dropping her off. Excellent communication and care. Thanks again!”

“Davon was amazing. Constant communication and updates with photos showed Frankie had an amazing time. He was extremely comfortable and enjoyed every second of it. Would definitely book again in the near future. 10 out of 10 experience.”

“We had a great experience! My dog Jager had a wonderful time staying at Ariel’s house. She has a great fenced in yard where dogs can safely play and explore. I would definitely book with her again and highly recommend her!”
