About: I started taking care of pets when we got a family dog when I was a kid. Since then, I help my mom with her pet-sitting business and have sat for her 3 dogs for a week+ at a time. I genuinely love taking care of dogs of all ages. I work a full-time job 7-3 M-F, and have afternoon pilot classes about twice a week, always scheduled in advance. Occasionally I go out of town for a weekend, again, scheduled well in advance. I would treat a client's pet as if they were my own, which is to say with lots of love, care, patience, respect, and kindness. And a lot of head pats (if and when applicable).

I grew up with dogs and cats and have extensive experience caring for small furry critters like rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, and chinchillas, as well as scaly and cold-blooded companions. I also have experience caring for birds and many other species. I was raised on a horse farm and have worked on a dairy farm and in a veterinary clinic, taught animal science, trained guide dogs, and volunteered with my local humane society as a cat foster. I’ve been an animal owner and caregiver my entire life, so caring for animals is more than just a job to me - it’s something I genuinely love. Need someone to love your pets while you’re away? I’ll follow your instructions closely, including feeding schedules, medications, walks, playtime, potty breaks, and any special care your pet may need. I know every pet has their own personality and routine, so I’ll take the time to get to know your pet and make sure they receive plenty of attention, enrichment, and love. I’ll also keep you updated while you’re away with messages and photos so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is safe and well cared for. About: Hi! My name is Douglas, Doug for short. Currently a proud papa to a golden lab named Sunny, and a grey longhair cat named Remy. My best friend is a pug/chihuahua mix named Taz. I also had an old man chihuahua named Finn, and I’ll forever miss him. I feel like I speak dog, I know how to tailor my personality to meet the needs of any dog. Cliche to say but I am better with animals than with people. I am responsible, gentle, caring, and a big rule follower. I have pretty open availability throughout the week so I have lots of time to hang out with your dogs! Let me know what you need and I should be able to make it work! I have experience with crate training my dog so I am comfortable playing with your dog in the house or yard, and switching them to their crate if needed.

About: I've had pets since a young age from lizards, cats, dogs, hamsters, fish, turtles, guinea pigs and birds. I have a small dog of my own so I know I can give your pets lots the love and attention too whether they have fur, scales, or feathers! I work from home so all pets get get a lot of attention during the day. For dogs staying in my home, they get 3 walks a day in the morning, during my lunch break, and in the evening. I work from home so all pets get a lot of attention during the day. I love to spend my time after work going on walks and would love a buddy(s) to come with me! I am available from dog walking or in home visits after 5:15pm during the week and anytime on weekends. I think the best way to care for a pet is do exactly what they're comfortable with. I currently have a Miniature Pinscher who is quite the ball of energy! He also struggles with reactivity, so I have firsthand experience understanding a reactive dog’s needs, recognizing their triggers, respecting their boundaries, and helping them feel comfortable in new situations. If your dog is reactive, nervous, or takes a little time to warm up, please don’t hesitate to reach out. I’m happy to take things at their pace and work toward building trust. I also have experience caring for senior dogs, including dogs who needed help getting up and down stairs and those who required daily medication. I understand that older pets may need a little extra patience, gentleness, and attention, and I’m happy to provide that care.
