Currently have a dog walking client at Winding Brook Condominiums in Meriden. I’m there twice a day for 30 minute walks and play. I bought some balls for her so she can play. Have videos and lots of photos. I work flexible hours as an independent contractor so I make my own schedule. I am building my pet care business so I am signing up for a drone pilots license for pet recovery. I am also working on upgrading my vehicle to a minivan. About: Growing up dogs have been a huge part of my lifestyle and household. Having owned 8 furry friends in my lifetime, and 1 being a cat, it’s hard not to pick up on their language 😂. Especially with the energetic Pomeranians my mom’s side loved. Aside from this experience, family, friends, and neighbors have regularly relied on me to take care of their pets while they’ve been away. Approaching every dog I see in public has become a mission of mine and it makes my day interacting with high energy animals! Trust when I say the pleasure is mine! I currently work part time, Sunday-Wednesday. On Sundays I’m out of work at noon, and on the weekdays I work I’m out by 2pm. Thursday-Saturday my schedule is most flexible. I do like to stay busy so I prefer advance notice, earlier the better. Last second bookings are possible, just less guaranteed. I have a few packs of treats that I keep for dogs. The brands I’ve purchased include Old Mother Hubbard, WholeHearted, Zuke’s, Good Lovin’, etc. I usually mix it up because some dogs are surprisingly picky. Let me know of any medical problems or dietary needs. I’ve dealt with many unique medical concerns. Some examples include pets requiring doses of medicine each day, restrictions on physical activity, and ones with anxiety. Let me know any accommodations or special needs, I will follow! I also have a couple toys just in case.

I’m currently in my last semester of college, and my class schedule is very flexible with plenty of time between classes. I also work a flexible part-time job that I can easily schedule around pet care. Because of this, I have a very open schedule and can make myself available for my clients with advance notice. I’m able to stop by multiple times throughout the day, including before or after classes and during breaks, for walks, potty breaks, feeding, playtime, or simply some extra company. I can be very flexible with drop-ins, walks, sitting, and boarding, and I’m happy to work around whatever routine is best for each pet. I prioritize making every pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owner is away. I’m very attentive and will follow your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding times, walks, potty breaks, medications, playtime, and any specific instructions you provide. Since my schedule is so open, I’m able to give pets plenty of attention rather than rushing through a visit. I’m also happy to spend extra time with them if they need companionship, exercise, or reassurance. I treat every pet and every home with the same care and respect I would want for my own.

About: I've pet-sat for dogs, cats, birds, bunnies, and guinea pigs since 2001. My sittings have ranged from a few hours to two weeks. I've sat for family, friends, and many parents here on Rover. My family has included two cats, Cleopatra and Caesar, and dogs Valentine, Athos, and Teddy. My goal as a sitter is to offer stability and enrichment while their parent is away. In-home sitting puts pets (and you!) at ease when you're away, so they can enjoy the "vacation" just as much as you can! My experience administering medication I've given pill medication via pill packs and oral liquid medication via syringe. If your dog requires medication, happy to discuss. (In case you're wondering why my testimonials haven't been updated recently, it's because I took a break from Rover to be more available to sit for family and friends. Sadly, some of those lovely pets have passed away now. It means though that I have the availability to return to Rover and I'm happy to be back!) In my initial meeting with a family, I like to get a sense of the pet's routine to determine if I can recreate that for them while their parent is away. My schedule, aside from my 9-5, is dictated by the pet's needs. I prefer to care for a pet in their own home. Before accepting a new client, I like to meet the pet and the parent(s) to make sure we're all vibing. I determine routine/schedule/likes/dislikes with the parent(s) in advance and stay in touch if something needs to deviate, which is rare.
