(We have two older cats who prefer closets and dark spaces over human interaction so we were really nervous about leaving them.) My senior dog, who recently passed after nearly 17 years by my side, required 24/7 care during her final year. That experience taught me patience, vigilance, and the deep responsibility of caring for animals at every stage of life. Our home is designed with pets in mind — safe, welcoming, and filled with love. With a friendly resident pack, dogs here need to enjoy the company of other dogs to feel at home. About: I’ve had dogs and cats my entire life and have experienced every stage of all of their lives. Definitely not new to a majority of things!! I’m currently home after graduating college this past spring and I’m looking to make some extra money and with Rover I can have fun doing it! About: I am a huge animal lover and have spent a lot of time rescuing homeless cats in my neighborhood. I have trapped 20 stray cats, vetted them, and found them homes. From this I have 7 of my own cats. I also have rescued two dogs from shelters. One is a Pitbull and the other an English Bull Dog. Growing up I always had pets around. As a Special Education Teacher I am available all weekdays after 5pm and I have complete open availability on weekends and school vacations (December, April). I have no problem with high energy or needy animals. I am comfortable cleaning up pet messes, playing, walking, and providing medicine if needed. I will do anything an animal needs.
