“This was my first time using Rover.com. I had picked up my German shepherd, Evie, from a shelter in North Carolina last November. Based on her recorded condition when brought in as a stray 5 weeks before she had been through a rough period. She has fully recovered now and is in good health. My wife and I wanted to find someone to board her with where she would be happy when we're away. We identified a few possibilities at the Rover website and following a positive meet and greet with Nadjeska last week, had Evie spend the day with her yesterday. It went very well. Nadjeska sent us several texts with photos during the day updating us on Evie's stay. We were looking for a home where Evie could spend time with and play with other dogs and Evie made a new friend, Sparkles, Najeska's little dog. Nadjeska has a fenced yard which provides a safe place for them to run around in the fresh air. About: Hi all! My name is Madison and I have many years of experience taking care of dogs and cats. I grew up with dog loving parents and we had two dogs I grew up with. They both crossed the rainbow bridge and it took years for us to recover. After 6 years without a dog, my mom adopted a German Shepherd who I often dog sit when my mom is away. I currently have my own 10 month old Corgi who is full of energy and two sweet cats. On my free time I also volunteer for Protectors of Animals and do the walking shift with the dogs in the shelter.
