About: I've had pets since a young age from lizards, cats, dogs, hamsters, fish, turtles, guinea pigs and birds. I have a small dog of my own so I know I can give your pets lots the love and attention too whether they have fur, scales, or feathers! I work from home so all pets get get a lot of attention during the day. For dogs staying in my home, they get 3 walks a day in the morning, during my lunch break, and in the evening. I work from home so all pets get a lot of attention during the day. I love to spend my time after work going on walks and would love a buddy(s) to come with me! I am available from dog walking or in home visits after 5:15pm during the week and anytime on weekends. I think the best way to care for a pet is do exactly what they're comfortable with. I intend to have very open communication with pet parents to understand the likes, dislikes and behaviors of their fur-babies to make sure that they feel safe and comfortable. I do have a dog of my own so I also want to make sure all your pets get along with my Jax, who loves other animals.

“Kristen was great with our 3 month old puppy. She was flexible, sent us plenty of pictures, and responded quickly. It was a serene getaway for him and he looked very comfortable in her home. She took him on walks and he walked really well with her. On the second day drop off Kameron was wagging his tail as we walked inside and went straight for a prized green toy he loved. The pictures she sent were beautiful and she was very easy to talk to. I highly recommend her would absolutely use her again.”

About: Hi everyone. I am new to Rover as a sitter but I’ve taken care of different types of dog breeds for 5 years! Dogs are considered to be humans best friends and I treat them like they’re mine! I provide comfort and care and help each dog with anything they may need, ranging from love, to energy and any special need care the owner may have! I alter my care depending on each need to each individual dog! I am comfortable around all dogs. While also having a job as an engineer, I try to make time for my animals even if that means leaving work and coming home to make sure they have everything they need! I also have days off that need to be filled with more joy and more animals! With a lot of free time, I can make sure your fur baby is never alone and bored! I’m also new on rover as a sitter and I’m super excited to start meeting new pets! I have 2 mini golden doodle puppy one named Tobi and one named Rylee. “This was my first time using Rover.com. I had picked up my German shepherd, Evie, from a shelter in North Carolina last November. Based on her recorded condition when brought in as a stray 5 weeks before she had been through a rough period. She has fully recovered now and is in good health. My wife and I wanted to find someone to board her with where she would be happy when we're away. We identified a few possibilities at the Rover website and following a positive meet and greet with Nadjeska last week, had Evie spend the day with her yesterday. It went very well. Nadjeska sent us several texts with photos during the day updating us on Evie's stay. We were looking for a home where Evie could spend time with and play with other dogs and Evie made a new friend, Sparkles, Najeska's little dog. Nadjeska has a fenced yard which provides a safe place for them to run around in the fresh air. Evie seemed to enjoy the day, Nadjeska obviously loves dogs, and we will be repeat clients in the near future.”

I am a certified dog trainer through ABC (Animal Behavior College), where I completed coursework and hands-on mentorship training. My first Jack Russell, full of energy and determination, inspired me to become a trainer and deepened my passion for understanding animal behavior. Today, I share my home with a younger, playful pack, including another Jack Russell, and I’ve learned the importance of balancing order, safety, and discipline with letting dogs simply enjoy being dogs. I believe younger dogs benefit from observation, gentle guidance, and time to grow before intense training, so my focus is always on safe, positive, and enriching experiences. I use equipment designed for safety — such as secure belt leashes — to make sure dogs are comfortable and protected on walks. Whether it’s puppies, seniors, or high-maintenance small breeds, I have the hands-on experience to give each pet the right level of care and attention. My senior dog, who recently passed after nearly 17 years by my side, required 24/7 care during her final year. That experience taught me patience, vigilance, and the deep responsibility of caring for animals at every stage of life. Our home is designed with pets in mind — safe, welcoming, and filled with love. With a friendly resident pack, dogs here need to enjoy the company of other dogs to feel at home. Small dogs are my specialty, but I welcome pups of all kinds and treat every animal as if they were my own. The only challenge you might face? Your dog may not want to go home. My partner and I both work from home, so we’re with our dogs throughout the day. We balance our time between working indoors and enjoying the outdoors when the weather is nice, with walks and dog park visits built into our mornings and evenings. We also enjoy picnics, hikes, and other activities that include our pets, since they’re truly part of our everyday life. None of our animals are ever crated — they’re free to be with us and part of our routine at all times. We have three secure, fenced yard areas designed for different activities. One area is set aside for bathroom breaks, where pets can go on their own. The other two yards are used for supervised playtime. Inside, our dogs have access to two levels of the home. The lower level is the cat zone, and the cats also enjoy access to one of the fenced yards. All pets have free range within their spaces and spend the day with me or my partner, so they are always supervised and cared for. We don’t crate any of our own pets — they are all very friendly and used to being around both cats and dogs. I’m a very hands-on, “helicopter” type fur mom — safety, love, and care are always my top priorities. I make sure pets are mentally stimulated, and I’m always checking for ticks or any health concerns. I shared my life with two beloved dogs for nearly 17 and 15 years, and losing them a few years ago was heartbreaking. They traveled everywhere with me and showed me the depth of the bond we share with animals. Caring for pets is my greatest passion, and I feel honored every day to be in their company. I will do whatever is required to keep your animals happy and cared for as if they were my own. About: Hello Rover customers, I have taken care of pets since I was a child and have taken care of my family’s fur babies since my kids were small. I am currently left with my senior cat at home but would love to take great care of your beloved fur babies. I am currently self employed and work part time during the weekdays. I have a very flexible schedule and can accommodate as needed with enough notice! I have a fenced in yard for my animals if needed but I am very careful in customer’s homes and make sure to not leave without checking my surroundings first so no animals gets out the door.

About: I am a veterinary nurse as well as a certified dog trainer. I love animals of all shapes and sizes and will treat your pup as one of my own! I work from home. I do virtual dog training sessions and only work one day out of the house, so very easy for me to take care of your pup in between sessions. We have a fenced in yard with plenty of toys as well as going for daily walks in our very safe neighborhood. I also have two very friendly medium size pups who love to play.

I can handle special diets. Recently completed an Approved Vet Tech Assistant program and have passed the National Exam. I completed 100 hours at a local vet hospital as well. I'm currently working a flexible part time job. I do not have children at home or other responsibilities. I am available holidays, evenings and weekends. I can administer medications, I can walk dogs, can handle special diets, can handle multiple pets (I currently have a client with 10 special needs cats).
