About: Hi! My name is Mahalah, and I’ve cared for all kinds of pets—big and small—for most of my life. I genuinely love getting to know each animal’s personality and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. I currently have a Miniature Pinscher who is quite the ball of energy! He also struggles with reactivity, so I have firsthand experience understanding a reactive dog’s needs, recognizing their triggers, respecting their boundaries, and helping them feel comfortable in new situations. If your dog is reactive, nervous, or takes a little time to warm up, please don’t hesitate to reach out. I’m happy to take things at their pace and work toward building trust. I also have experience caring for senior dogs, including dogs who needed help getting up and down stairs and those who required daily medication. I understand that older pets may need a little extra patience, gentleness, and attention, and I’m happy to provide that care. Since I’m currently working on Rover full-time, my schedule is flexible, and I’m able to give your pets plenty of attention and treats throughout the day. I treat every dog in my care as if they were my own. I want them to feel safe, comfortable, loved, and genuinely happy while they’re with me. I also had an old man chihuahua named Finn, and I’ll forever miss him. I feel like I speak dog, I know how to tailor my personality to meet the needs of any dog. Cliche to say but I am better with animals than with people. I am responsible, gentle, caring, and a big rule follower. Whether your pet is used to early morning walks, specific feeding times, frequent puppy potty breaks, or just lots of companionship throughout the day, I’m happy to accommodate their schedule as closely as possible. My availability is very open, including weekdays and weekends! Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my priority. In my home, it’s just my partner and me with no children or pets of our own, so your pet will have a calm, spacious environment. I only board one family’s pet(s) at a time so I can focus on their needs and help them feel comfortable and at home. My yard is unfenced, so dogs will always be leashed and supervised when outside. Inside, pets are welcome to get comfortable and are allowed on the furniture unless you prefer otherwise. I’m also familiar with crates and happy to follow your pet’s normal crate, feeding, walking, sleeping, and potty routines. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I’m respectful of both your pet’s routine and your space. I’ll follow all instructions closely, make sure doors and entrances are secure, keep dogs leashed during walks, and give you updates so you know how your pet is doing. About: Dogs are just naturally drawn to me! I have three dogs at home (two are golden retriever puppies) and I have experience with many different breeds, sizes, and personalities! I'm working part time at a different job in the early mornings (mainly on the weekends), but I am free in the afternoons and nighttimes every day! I have a fenced yard and I make sure that the dogs are close by me when I take them out to play. I can be very playful and energetic with active dogs (puppies love playtime!) but I am also very delicate and encouraging towards calmer dogs! About: Ever since college, I’ve enjoyed pet sitting small lap dog size to giant Great Danes. I first started to find a running buddy and then it turned into a fun job for me. It even helped me buy my wife her engagement ring! I own an aussiedoodle who is always active and have learned quite a bit through dog ownership.
