About: Hi, I’m Kaitlin and I may be new to this platform but not to loving and caring for animals! ❤️ I grew up caring for the cats and dogs in my family’s home and as an adult now care for two dogs of my own! I love all animals and prioritize their health, comfort, and wellbeing in my interactions. I will work with each client to ensure my approach is best suited to their pet’s needs! My schedule is extremely flexible so I can work around the needs of my clients. I am available throughout the day including mornings, afternoons, and evenings! I will work with you to get to know your pets, their environment, and their habits so I can keep them healthy and safe while under my care. I am vigilant around doors and when walking dogs on leash (as my own pups are flight risks!) and in keeping items away from pets that might be harmful to them (such as human food, medications, etc.) that their curious noses and mouths might otherwise want to explore!

About: I have never known life without a four legged friend by my side :) Growing up I was surrounded by and took care of our family’s rottweilers and currently have a 9 year old rottie, a 5 year old golden retriever and a 2 year old grey tabby cat. My animals have wildly different temperaments and varying physical abilities and I have known them through infancy to their elder years. I’m available monday through friday after 3 pm and open availability on the weekends! I would love to help you take care of your pets while you’re away. I currently work first shift at a laboratory full time. I am home from work around 3pm and make time to exercise and take care of my pets while i’m home. I have developed good time management skills and live by my google calendar and am more than capable and happy to fit your pets into my schedule. My two dogs get plenty of outside time in their fenced in backyard and are very high energy so get plenty of walks and enrichment. My cat —while very docile and sweet — also has loads of energy and needs lots of attention when he’s not playing with his canine buds. I am very diligent about his water consumption and eating habits as he gets chronic UTI’s and is on a medicated diet.

About: I’ve always been in a home with a variety of pets: cats, dogs, rabbits, birds, chickens, ducks, and hamsters. I’ve worked as a veterinary technician in the past, volunteered at pet shelters, completed a pet first aid class, and am completely comfortable administering a variety of medications. Your loved one is in gentle, skilled, and reliable hands with me. I currently am semi retired, but still working, so I am available on my days off. These days vary week to week, so please inquire in advance and I’ll do my best to help you with your needs. I would like to get to know you and your pet first, to provide the most consistent and reassuring care for your pet while you are away. Some pets prefer a slow, steady, gentle approach to bonding, while others are more exuberant and outgoing; much like people, it varies per to pet.

I'm not there to pay attention to your beloved dog, not get distractes by my phone or anything else.

About: I have owned and cared for dogs for as long as I can remember, and for the past eight years my family has run a dog rescue out of our home. Because of that, I’ve gained hands-on experience with dogs of every size, age, and temperament. I am comfortable with any dog, from playful puppies to seniors. Growing up in a rescue environment taught me how to read dog behavior, build trust quickly, and make sure each dog feels safe and supported. I’m comfortable with feeding routines, administering basic medications, and managing energetic dogs who need extra exercise. As a pet owner, I know how important communication and updates are. So I will always give regular updates and treat dogs as if they are my own. I have classes at night from 6-9pm Mon-Thursday. I am currently volunteering as a wrestling coach for Wesleyan University, so some of my weekends may be busy or unavailable. Other than that, I am very flexible with my hours. When caring for a pet, it’s important to make sure they feel as comfortable as possible. For me, that means following their routine closely so they always feel safe and secure. I plan to stick to their schedule, maintain their normal habits, and give them the same love and attention they’re used to when their owners are home.

About: I am a huge dog lover. Our beloved dog Riley recently passed after being with us for 13 years. I have fostered dozens of dogs with various rescues, and have experience with caring for all different types of dogs, including extensive experience with puppies. I provide customized care for your dog - i will try my best to recreate your home environment and routine. I will only dog sit for one dog at a time (or in some situations i would accept multiple dogs from the same family, please inquire), to ensure that your dog has the best experience possible. For our puppy or young adult guests, I am happy to work on training. For all clients, I am also willing to accommodate dietary restrictions/prepare special meals when needed. I will love your dog like my own while he/she is staying with me! I am happy to have your dog join me for a cuddle on the couch or sleep in bed with me, if that is what you’d like. I have a good sized back yard, which is not fenced in. I do provide a tie out for dogs who cannot be off leash. I also live in a great neighborhood with sidewalks and take the dogs i pet sit for on frequent walks around the neighborhood (if desired). On nice days we will take trips to the local dog park or go for a hike at one of the many parks in the area. While I do not board cats in my home, I do offer drop in visits at your home for either dogs or cats. I require a meet and greet for all new clients prior to booking. This will ensure a good fit for everyone. I have a lot of flexibility in my schedule. I am currently taking a break from corporate life, and can work around your dog’s particular needs during his/her stay. I am often available for last minute stays. I with you to understand your dog’s exercise needs and will provide customized treatment during his/her stay. I love going for hikes and going to the dog park, but also understand this is not for every dog. This is why we take a customized approach that takes into account the particular needs of each guest who stays with me.
