About: Hello pet parent! I have lived with, trained, and loved animals since I was a child. I have grown up with multiple dogs, cats, chickens, fish, hamsters, etc… and I would absolutely love to take care of yours! I am a warm, detail oriented, dedicated, and responsible problem solver. I’m also big on communication, updates, and taking pictures of your furry loved one. I take pride in making sure every animal has what they need (and plenty of pets)! Special needs and requests for care are always welcome. I have a lot of experience as many friends, family members, and coworkers have hired me to take care of their beloved pets. All animal inquiries are welcome :) I am currently working full time, with Mondays and Tuesdays off every week. Though my hours are very flexible and I am able to take breaks during the day to check in on your pet! I am happy to stay overnight with a pet, though I am also able to in multiple times a day if preferred. When taking care of a pet, my own or someone else's, they are one of my top priorities! I want to make sure they are the happiest and healthiest they can be, so I tend to go above and beyond when it comes to care. I try to pick the best food possible, make sure they are hydrated, get plenty of fresh air, play, and a few extra toys or outfits are always welcome! I am the oldest of 7 and have a multitude of animal experience under my belt, so I do not get grossed out easily! If there is a mess, I will clean it up with precision and care.

About: Hi! My name is Douglas, Doug for short. Currently a proud papa to a golden lab named Sunny, and a grey longhair cat named Remy. My best friend is a pug/chihuahua mix named Taz. I also had an old man chihuahua named Finn, and I’ll forever miss him. I feel like I speak dog, I know how to tailor my personality to meet the needs of any dog. Cliche to say but I am better with animals than with people. I am responsible, gentle, caring, and a big rule follower. I have pretty open availability throughout the week so I have lots of time to hang out with your dogs! Let me know what you need and I should be able to make it work! I have experience with crate training my dog so I am comfortable playing with your dog in the house or yard, and switching them to their crate if needed.

About: Hi! My name is Mahalah, and I’ve cared for all kinds of pets—big and small—for most of my life. I genuinely love getting to know each animal’s personality and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. I currently have a Miniature Pinscher who is quite the ball of energy! He also struggles with reactivity, so I have firsthand experience understanding a reactive dog’s needs, recognizing their triggers, respecting their boundaries, and helping them feel comfortable in new situations. If your dog is reactive, nervous, or takes a little time to warm up, please don’t hesitate to reach out. I’m happy to take things at their pace and work toward building trust. I also have experience caring for senior dogs, including dogs who needed help getting up and down stairs and those who required daily medication. I understand that older pets may need a little extra patience, gentleness, and attention, and I’m happy to provide that care. Since I’m currently working on Rover full-time, my schedule is flexible, and I’m able to give your pets plenty of attention and treats throughout the day. I treat every dog in my care as if they were my own. I want them to feel safe, comfortable, loved, and genuinely happy while they’re with me. I take the time to get to know each dog’s personality, routine, likes, dislikes, and individual needs so I can give them the best care possible. Whether they’re playful and full of energy, shy and nervous, reactive, elderly, or just looking for someone to cuddle with, I’m patient and always willing to meet them where they’re most comfortable. Caring for my own dog has taught me how important patience, understanding, and building trust can be, and I bring that same care and compassion to every pet I look after.
