About: I’ve lived with dogs and cats my whole life! I grew up with a senior dog and cats in their late teens, and then got puppies and kittens that I’ve taken care of for over a decade. I’ve watched pets for friends and family, and while I’m new to professional pet care, I’ll treat yours with the same care I’d treat mine. I can fit pet care into virtually any time of most days. I’m a college student home for the summer, so I’m not very busy! I’m very gentle with my pets, and I like to treat them like a friend rather than another type of entity. I respect their boundaries and comfort, and like to see what would be best for them in any given moment. I’m always respectful of other people’s homes, always respect house rules, and am super careful of others’ property.

About: I try to take parts of Cesar Milan's strategy with dogs specifically. Trying to not reward bad behavior. Making sure a pet can respect my boundaries. Currently have a dog walking client at Winding Brook Condominiums in Meriden. I’m there twice a day for 30 minute walks and play. I bought some balls for her so she can play. Have videos and lots of photos. I work flexible hours as an independent contractor so I make my own schedule. I am building my pet care business so I am signing up for a drone pilots license for pet recovery. I am also working on upgrading my vehicle to a minivan. I am offering pet sitting in your home until that can change to my home. I am needing different things done to my home before I can bring pets to my house.

In my home, it’s just my partner and me with no children or pets of our own, so your pet will have a calm, spacious environment. I only board one family’s pet(s) at a time so I can focus on their needs and help them feel comfortable and at home. My yard is unfenced, so dogs will always be leashed and supervised when outside. Inside, pets are welcome to get comfortable and are allowed on the furniture unless you prefer otherwise. I’m also familiar with crates and happy to follow your pet’s normal crate, feeding, walking, sleeping, and potty routines. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I’m respectful of both your pet’s routine and your space. I’ll follow all instructions closely, make sure doors and entrances are secure, keep dogs leashed during walks, and give you updates so you know how your pet is doing. About: I have been taking care of my own dog since I was 8 years old. I have been surrounded by dogs my whole entire life as my family and I are big dog lovers. I also have experience with cats because I have 5 cats as well! I have experience with senior dog care as well! At this time, I can care for pets at any time during the week, with some short time spans not available here and there. For example if I were to have a doctors appointment At this time, I am able to take care of dogs in my own home as well as in the clients home. If it is an overnight, I do prefer it to be in my home. Safety is always important to me and I always make sure the house is similar to “baby proofed” so the animal can’t get into anything dangerous or escape.

Gave our boy his meds, and was able to put a cone on him to put steroid crem on his tail. He befriended our boys quickly and seemed to enjoy their company as much as they enjoyed his. Ricky sent me updates and pics throughout his stay, and was quick to respond when I checked in. Our home was in order when we arrived home. I highly recommend Ricky. I am a bit bummed that he's leaving VT after college graduation next month, as we are in transition with pet sitters, as our one the past five years is heading to med school.
