Hi! My name is Mahalah, and I’ve cared for all kinds of pets—big and small—for most of my life. I genuinely love getting to know each animal’s personality and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. I currently have a Miniature Pinscher who is quite the ball of energy! He also struggles with reactivity, so I have firsthand experience understanding a reactive dog’s needs, recognizing their triggers, respecting their boundaries, and helping them feel comfortable in new situations. If your dog is reactive, nervous, or takes a little time to warm up, please don’t hesitate to reach out. I’m happy to take things at their pace and work toward building trust. I also have experience caring for senior dogs, including dogs who needed help getting up and down stairs and those who required daily medication. I understand that older pets may need a little extra patience, gentleness, and attention, and I’m happy to provide that care.

I treat every dog in my care as if they were my own. I want them to feel safe, comfortable, loved, and genuinely happy while they’re with me. I take the time to get to know each dog’s personality, routine, likes, dislikes, and individual needs so I can give them the best care possible. Whether they’re playful and full of energy, shy and nervous, reactive, elderly, or just looking for someone to cuddle with, I’m patient and always willing to meet them where they’re most comfortable. Caring for my own dog has taught me how important patience, understanding, and building trust can be, and I bring that same care and compassion to every pet I look after. I want you and your dog to feel completely comfortable knowing they’re in good hands.

Mahalah has come to drop in on our 2 dogs quite a few times now and I would definitely recommend her to anyone. She’s always relatable and on time. She’s done feedings and even given our dog medication. She is super attentive to our dogs and spends time playing with them and learning what they like!!
Mahalah was very professional with quick responses to my requests to meet and greet, she was punctual for our visit and was well prepared for our meeting. I loved that she asked all the right questions and was comfortable with mine. The best part is that Mahalah really seemed to care about her responsibility as a sitter. She was very kind to my Jazzy Cat who needed extra care and compassion due to just losing our other cat. I also received detailed updates while we were away. I would highly recommend Mahalah !
This was our second time having Mahala take care of my dog and she was great. I have no worries when she watches my dog and I know he's in good hands!
Mahalah has been our two minpin’s sitter twice 😊… she is so caring , my dogs just loved her. Mahalah is careful when she is at home. I will definitely book her for dog sitting again.

Schedule
Since I’m currently working on Rover full-time, my schedule is flexible, and I’m able to give your pets plenty of attention and treats throughout the day.
