About: I’ve had dogs since I was 12 and have experience with all kinds of personalities and ages, from puppies to senior dogs with medical needs. I currently have a senior dog myself, so I’m very patient, attentive, and comfortable with extra care routines. About: I have had dogs for 20 years. I have had 3 smaller dogs in the past (14-25 pounds). 2 were pug/beagle mixes and 1 was a Boston terrier/beagle mix. I currently have a bigger dog (83 pounds) who is a German Shepard/Australian Shepard/Rottweiler mix. I also had a cat growing up for 8 years. I love to spend time with animals going on walks, playing with them and making sure they are well taken care of. I have experience with puppies, adolescent and senior dogs. I can’t wait to meet your pet and be there to help whenever you need! I’m currently a stay at home mom and am at home most days. I have 2 school aged children and I have flexibility and availability in my daily schedule. I am open to helping out with any and all needs for your pet. I can come to your home and care for your pet based on what you specify your pet needs and your preference's. I am willing to do dog walking, playing with dogs or cats, and the general needs such as feeding and ensuring they have clean, fresh water. I will take care of your pet with the same love I show my own pet.

About: Hi! My name is Douglas, Doug for short. Currently a proud papa to a golden lab named Sunny, and a grey longhair cat named Remy. My best friend is a pug/chihuahua mix named Taz. I also had an old man chihuahua named Finn, and I’ll forever miss him. I feel like I speak dog, I know how to tailor my personality to meet the needs of any dog. Cliche to say but I am better with animals than with people. I am responsible, gentle, caring, and a big rule follower. I have pretty open availability throughout the week so I have lots of time to hang out with your dogs! Let me know what you need and I should be able to make it work! I have experience with crate training my dog so I am comfortable playing with your dog in the house or yard, and switching them to their crate if needed.

About: I have over ten years of experience with dogs. I had a rat terrier named Imani growing up so I have experience with high energy dogs from puppies to seniors. I have 4 years of experience with cats. Three years with two seven year old boys during a previous relationship where I honed my cat care, training skills and love for cats. So much so that I adopted my own cat, a two year old named Billie, last year. I have also trained her to sit, lay down and fetch as well as using positive reinforcement to dissuade scratching behaviors. I am currently working for myself as a freelance photographer and consultant so I have a pretty flexible schedule and can accommodate multiple drop in’s in one day or work from your home while pet sitting. I am dedicated to maintaining a clean and safe environment for the pet I’m caring for. I love to send picture and video updates regularly. I love to play with cats and dogs and am committed to their happiness and safety.

About: I’ve had multiple pets since I was young and always had a great love for all animals. I have had my dog since I was 6 years old and been taking care of her since then. Neighbors and family members have always trusted me taking care of their cats, dogs, bunnies, and birds and I love meeting and forming a connection with them all! I also have experience with senior and special needs as my dog had some behavioral issues in the last few years of her life and she has taught me a lot about having compassion for everyone. 🩷 My school year is over so I am currently home for the summer and will have plenty of time to take care of your pets! I also am available on breaks as well and would love to walk your dog during those times! I am majoring in animal studies with a minor in environmental studies in college and have a very strong love and passion for all animals. I have a big fenced yard for your dog to run around and play in! My both love all types of pets and are super welcoming.

About: I have taken care of dogs and cats before I reached the age of double digits. Bruno was the first cat my family ever got, he was found in the rafters of our garage, he was so small he had to be nursed from a bottle. He won sweetest cat at the local library, and the next year we found Gus in our bushes on me and my twin brothers 6th birthday. We slyly convinced our mom he was a gift from God and we got to keep him! A couple years later, we dropped into the humane society and fell in love with a grey kitten, and of course, my brother and I pulled out our puppy dog eyes, and Junie B Fox Fire came home with us. It was a full house, three cats, two kids, and one mom. Eventually, it was time to convince my mom to get a dog. We ended up falling in love with a golden doodle and we named her Paisley. And finally, my brother and I felt satisfied with our Animal House. Our animals all lived long happy lives. Our three cats all passed away at 20, and Paisley at 16. They were always treated like family. Those 20 so years did not come without their scares. We had a few times the vet told us there was practically no hope, but Im convinced the love our family had for our animals bent reality, and every time, they were okay. Sometimes surgery was needed, other times just hope. But I am proud of the way I was raised to treat animals, and I thank my mom for that. In my 20s I moved in with my now ex fiance, and we got a dog together. An australian shepherd (I will adopt next time!), she was a puppy. We trained her, loved her, and I was her mom. Sprinkled through the years other cats entered our orbit as we took in family cats whose owner had passed. We became another animal house! unfortunately those cats were older so we got them on their ladder parts of life, and so when our apartment had no more cats, we decided it was time for a kitten! Together we raised our kitten Henry, and Aussie Skylo. I was their mom for about 7 years until we broke up, and tragically my ex stole them, and ran away with his mistress. There are no words for the black hole that left behind. It was right after the break up my family simultaneously lost three of our cats and our dog. Yes they lived a long life, but for the first time ever, I had NO animals in my care. I didn't know how empty that could feel! I don't want to make this a sob story, but I want to explain why you are just seeing a kitten in my photos. I moved to FL after the break up, and that is where I found Roary my now cat, who was 5 weeks old dodging cars in the middle of the busiest intersection in Fort Lauderdale. I was the only one on the ground to pick her up, I wasnt ready for a cat, but life did its life thing, and I am so blessed to have her by my side now. I am back in Connecticut, and ready for Rover! I am nurturing, thoughtful, attentive, and not to pat myself on the back.. but I do think I speak fluent animal. I would be so grateful for the opportunity to watch your beloved pet! I am currently free as a bird here in Connecticut. My availability is adaptable as I am in school and a part time substitute teacher. Safety always comes first. In your home, I follow your routine exactly; feeding, meds, and house rules. On walks I double check leashes, hold a tight grip, stay alert to traffic and other dogs, and never let your pet off leash. I'll send photo updates every visit so you always know your animal is safe and happy.
