About: I have owned and been around dogs and cats my whole life. I started out working with small animals when I volunteered at the Connecticut Audubon Society when I was a child and teenager. I also worked at PetSmart in the their Pet Hotel doing doggy daycare. While there, I walked, fed, cleaned up after, and watched over groups of dogs of all shapes and sizes. I have also volunteered with Protectors of Animals at their cat shelter for about 2 years now. I have worked with cats of all ages and temperaments. My schedule is very open at the moment. I am able to check up on animals multiple times throughout a weekday and am also available on weekends. I am available to take care of pets in your home, whether you just need me to feed them and let them out a few times a day, or if your pet needs someone to stay with them for longer periods of time. I have reliable transportation in case of emergency. I am comfortable giving pills, but I am not trained on giving injections.

About: Growing up, pet sitting was my favorite job. I would spend summers taking care of pets. I've never had a house without pets from cats to dogs to birds to rabbits, we've had a happy and full household! I currently have 3 cats, Mo, Kiko, and Benny, and I couldn't ask for a better trio to spend my days with. I would love to give your pets the same love and care. I'm very in tune with reading animals and I will make sure they have the boundaries and comfort they need while you are away. I have a full time job that is flexible during the day to take care of your animals as needed. I enjoy being active and would love to spend time outside with your pets. While walking your dog, I would pick safe neighborhoods or trails, depending on what you would like. I am big on safety and comfort and I would make sure to keep your pup in a happy comfortable place while we enjoy some fresh air and exercise.

I previously owned a male Boxer, and I currently have a Boston Terrier, so I understand the importance of providing dogs with attention, exercise, structure, and lots of affection. I’m a very active person who enjoys hiking and long walks, and I love having dogs join me for outdoor time and exercise. I also live in a safe, walkable neighborhood that’s perfect for daily walks and fresh air. I treat every dog like family and always make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and loved while in my care. I have the summer off work ( starting June 23) so my schedule is open for both dog walking and boarding both during the week and on weekends. I have pretty open availability throughout the week so I have lots of time to hang out with your dogs! Let me know what you need and I should be able to make it work! I have experience with crate training my dog so I am comfortable playing with your dog in the house or yard, and switching them to their crate if needed.

About: I grew up with a black Lab and now have a cat, so I have plenty of hands-on experience caring for both animals! I truly love both animals. I work in office three days a week from 7:30 AM–4:00 PM and have availability both before and after work for pet care. On my two remote workdays, I have even greater flexibility to provide care, and I’m especially flexible on weekends. Dogs will always be kept on a leash unless there is a securely fenced backyard. I closely follow all owner instructions and prioritize each pet’s specific needs. I ensure indoor cats are never let outside, and I maintain their overall care and hygiene by providing fresh food and water, cleaning up as needed, and making sure they are able to go to the bathroom whenever necessary.
