About: All my life I’ve had a variety of different animals all including dogs, cats, birds, turtles, rabbits, etc. You name it, I have owned it. In some time spans all at the same time. About: I’m a Special Education Teacher who just adores dogs and cats of all shapes and sizes. I have two dogs of my own, and, until recently, a beautiful cat. I know it can be difficult to leave your pets in the care of others. Rest assured, they will be well taken care of and happy. Since I’m on summer break, my schedule is very flexible during the months of July and August. Once school is in session, I will be available most weekday evenings, weekends, and holidays. About: I have taken care of dogs and cats(only a couple) since I was a kid. My friends, family, and nanny families knew they had someone they could trust to take care of and love their fur baby like it was mine. I have lived with a dog my entire life-all rescues(Golden Retriever, Pitty Mixes, King Charles Spaniel, Rotty Mix, Lab Mixes, Great Dane…) Our current fur baby Midnight is a senior Lab Pitty mix. I have experience caring for puppies to seniors. I am comfortable giving medication, feeding, bathing, walking, cleaning up after, and transporting your dog. I have less experience with cats, but have house sat several cats-making sure to follow their feeding schedule and cleaning out their litter box. I have a bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education. I worked with children 6 weeks to 5 years old for over 12 years. Which means I have lots of patience, love, and understanding. I have been lucky to be able to stay home with our daughter the last five years. But I am ready to make my way back into part-time work. I believes pets are our family and I will treat yours like mine. It would be a honor to help care for and love on them. I am currently a stay at home mom. My daughter is in preschool three days a week and starting kindergarten in the fall. So I have flexibility in my schedule. She came by twice a day for drop-in visits and gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. Gus can sometimes take a little time to warm up to new people, but he quickly became comfortable with Alexandra, which says a lot about her calm, caring approach. Erin was absolutely amazing! She took such wonderful care of my cat, Tinky, and my elderly Chihuahua, Sasha, for five days while I was away in Puerto Rico. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing they were in such caring hands. She was incredibly kind, patient, and gentle with Sasha, making sure my senior pup was comfortable and well cared for. She also handled Tinky's persistent attempts to convince her to let him outside with so much patience and good humor! I cannot recommend Wen enough. My husband and I were gone for a few days, and Wen came in twice a day to feed our 2 cats. He fed them and played with them and sent photos of them looking very content. He cleaned the litter box and he did some additional chores around the house. He even encountered an unexpected crisis and he was able to avert that without a problem. We missed them terribly, but we were comforted by the fact that Wen was taking such good care of them.
Anna is absolutely amazing! I was so nervous to hire a “stranger” last minute for my trip but Anna made everything soooo stress free!!! She took perfect care of my pup, sent daily updates & was easily accessible via message! Anna is the best of the best!! ♥️♥️ so happy she is no longer a stranger !
He is the best! Extremely dependable, diligent about following all directions and meeting needs of your animals. We have used him twice now and know our cats are in great hands! One warmed right up and met him every day with purrs and demands for brushing. The other was her usual, stand-offish self but still came out for a few sniffs and investigation. He respected their boundaries and gave them time to get to know him on their terms. He stays in great contact as well and we were very comfortable with him as a caretaker.
