She responded to my booking request and messages quickly, did troubleshooting with Rover support on my behalf when I had issues with booking, sent great photos and detailed care summaries while I was away, offered to pick up necesities to make my return home easier...she even offered to drive over when my car needed a jump when I returned home to a dead battery in my car! About: I've loved and cared for dogs for most of my life, and currently have a Chihuahua mix named Chico and a cat named Frankie. I'm a good-hearted and easygoing person excited to spend my free time with some lovable pooches! Chico is an 11-year-old rescue, who loves ice cream and burying himself in blankets. Frankie is a snoozy indoor cat, but loves playing with Chico occasionally. For all of my bookings, I like to provide lots of attention to each pet, and create a comfortable environment for them. I’ve had a ton of fun with the pets I've met so far, and I would love to meet some more furry friends and owners soon! I currently work from home full time in the healthcare industry. I am looking to offer sitting services in my free time, but can likely be flexible with my schedule. Safety for all pets is my biggest priority, whether they are my own or yours. About: I’ve helped many families with pee breaks, visits, walks and sleep overs. I currently have a 7 year old dog and have had several dog’s growing up as well as many relationships built with other dogs in my life. My schedule is fairly open. Aside for stand alone appointments or commitments. Many mornings, midday open. Weekends, and evening also possible. Many cases I am able to accommodate last minute and special visits. I am always asking questions to make sure I know how the dog is cared for; including products, toys, feeding, eliminating , sleeping etc. It’s important that a dogs day to day is maintained while the family is away. Alexis was absolutely wonderful with Cookie and Creamy! 🥹 She sent tons of updates throughout my trip, and her notes were always so funny, sweet, and detailed! I genuinely looked forward to reading them every day. Seeing how comfortable and happy the girls were with her made it so much easier for me to relax and enjoy my trip without worrying about them. I also really appreciated that Alexis didn’t just stop by to take care of the basics. She made sure to actually spend time with Cookie and Creamy so they had company and weren’t alone, which meant so much to me. Though the drop-in visit wasn't successful, James and Reichel were fantastic through the entire process. After the first meet and greet on Monday Reichel came by again on Friday, on her own time and at her suggestion, just to try to make Dessa more comfortable. Well, Dessa is an 11ish year old German Shepherd who was found as a stray a year ago, and it's only been a month since I adopted her (from SC to MA). She's still settling in at home, tentative but usually eventually okay with strangers. Friday's quick visit went great, but today she wasn't up for something unfamiliar, and that's understandable. If she gets more comfortable with people over time, I will 100% return to James and Reichel when needed. Excellent communication all along the way, and they truly understood and cared for Dessa, even though she wasn't nearly so friendly in return 😆
