About: I'm a former Animal Science student who went to UMass Amherst. I also worked in a kennel for ~ a year, so have experience with all dogs. All dogs are welcome! I currently work on a hybrid schedule and am available to take care of your dog 5 days per week. The only days I'm unavailable are Mondays and Thursdays! I am happy to offer constant attention and care, I'm always available for potty breaks, will provide walks as needed, have toys on hand/will provide enrichment for your pets.

About: I’ve taken care of cats and dogs for 30 years. I got my first pet 40 years ago. I have experience as a vet assistant at Banfield Animal Hospital for 7 years. I work full time in Amherst and I am available for walks before and after work and boarding on the weekends. I can board during the week if your pets schedule allows. I have a fenced in backyard and an indoor cat. I have an indoor space for indoor pets and my home is open to fur babies with amenities for cats and dogs.

“Mike was an awesome host! He and his wife showed my 6 month old pit, Magnus a refreshing amount of hospitality. They went out of their way to make sure he felt comfortable and at ease. We had a meet and greet first which I loved. He gave me an opportunity to take my time to make sure my little guy felt safe and at ease with his dogs. He was even willing to keep his dog in a closed room throughout the whole entire overnight stay of my pup's time there. Its common for dogs to act a certain way when more stressors are present...so just as I suspected...when I left....Mike was able to get the dogs to intereact slowly without a leash from day 1 up until being inseparable during pick up time! He was amazing! His pitbul Rojo was very kind and playful with my baby pit. And I loved the huge fenced yard space they had to run around. They even have a dog bed for them to sleep on right next to their bed. It was also very sweet of them to let him go up on their bed for cuddle time. Mike and his family went above and beyond to have Magnus feel right at home and to keep me at ease with plenty of picture and text updates! Will definitely have him doggy sit again! Awesome family..awesome home awesome environment!”

He was also very accommodating when we had to delay our pickup by a day because of a medical emergency. He kept us updated everyday on the pups which gave us great peace of mind. “Briana is absolutely incredible! As long as she's available, she'll be Canela's "Aunt" for sleepovers. When I arrived, Briana took the time to walk me through her home; she let Canela explore with me there so we were both comfortable with the new environment. We spoke about Briana's beautiful pup, Pepa ?, her experience caring for pets, and her homemade dog treats. I felt confident that I could trust Briana with my baby. I brought Canela's favorite bed, but Briana had plenty of comfy places for her as well. Briana checked in with me numerous times, without me having to reach out first. She took so many wonderful pictures of Canela; who was happy and relaxed in them all. Briana has a nice, fully fenced backyard that Canela made great use of. In addition to playing in her backyard, they also enjoyed walks. Briana is a kind and caring person and I will recommend her to all of my friends. The most important thing to me, was how much Canela loved spending time with Briana. You can't fake the happy butt wiggle Canela had when I picked her up!”
