About: I have had medium/large dogs for most of my life. I have taken care of a 35lb Australian Cattle dog as well as 2 pit bulls between 55-70lbs. I've also dog-sat a dog under 10lbs and walked dogs who were 140lbs. I've also worked in home with families who had cats ranging in size and demeanor. I work full time which is why I can only do sitting on weekends. I am looking to do more hobbies and this seems like something fun for me to add. I care for my dog Zelda who's partially blind so I have an awareness for disabled pups. That is also the reason I cannot board dogs in my home. I would likely spend a large portion of my day with the dog I'm taking care of, giving them some kind of walk during the day and making sure to lock up each time I leave the home. I would make sure they are fed on time and receive the same kind of loving care I give my dogs at home.

About: I've been dog sitting for a little over 8 years now for friends and family. I started dogsitting for clients at the salon I used to work for. I own 2 dogs myself one of which is 11 and the other is 5! I love cats and dogs so much and I can't wait to have my own house to adopt as many as I can! About: I’m a CTRS and I have trained my dogs one of which is a a therapy dog that at times I will take to work. I normally do at least 15 minutes of training with my pups! I’m off Sunday Monday and Tuesday fully, and my partner is off Saturday. My day starts off walking my dogs then letting them outside to play. Your dog would be apart of that. This was our first time using a pet sitter on Rover so we were a little nervous about it going in, but Jess was fantastic! Though the drop-in visit wasn't successful, James and Reichel were fantastic through the entire process. After the first meet and greet on Monday Reichel came by again on Friday, on her own time and at her suggestion, just to try to make Dessa more comfortable. Well, Dessa is an 11ish year old German Shepherd who was found as a stray a year ago, and it's only been a month since I adopted her (from SC to MA). She's still settling in at home, tentative but usually eventually okay with strangers. Friday's quick visit went great, but today she wasn't up for something unfamiliar, and that's understandable. If she gets more comfortable with people over time, I will 100% return to James and Reichel when needed. Excellent communication all along the way, and they truly understood and cared for Dessa, even though she wasn't nearly so friendly in return 😆
