About: Your pet is not a guest in our house, it’s a loved family member for life! We individually your pet’s care based on its preferences and habits. I am a pet lover working from home who loves the company and snuggles. My kids are crazy about dogs and love them dearly also. We live in a beautiful home with a big fenced in yard but do take the dog(s) out daily to explore in the woods and have fun!
“I was lucky to find this wonderful family right before heading out on vacation, and I couldn’t be more grateful. From the very start, communication was clear, prompt, and professional. They were reliable and stuck to the agreed schedule, which I truly appreciated. My dog a 5 month old Standard Poodle who’s a giant ball of mischief connected with them right away. It’s clear they have tons of experience and, most importantly, a genuine love for animals. I had originally booked someone else who canceled last minute with a silly excuse… but honestly, I’m glad it happened because it led me to the right people. They deserve all the stars. Highly recommend!”

“Shea is WONDERFUL! She’s communicative and thoughtful (brings up trash bins or brings packages in), prompt and considerate of all 3 dogs’ needs. If she can get my heeler to feel comfortable around her, then she can definitely help your pet feel at ease too!”

“Five stars isn’t enough. Our cat Felix absolutely fell in love with Eryn. He was relaxed, happy, and clearly adored while we were away. We got great updates, thoughtful care, and came home to a very content boy. Truly exceptional experience — we’ll be booking again without hesitation.”

About: I have a 6 year old Jack Russel/Chihuahua that is the sweetest most loving girl! I have trained her myself since she was a puppy, I have learned SO much. I have a schedule that’s a little all over the place but I’m willing to work out different times through the week that best suits you and your dog. It’s something that would have to be discussed based on your wants and needs for your dog. All dogs are different, every dog owner is different. But I would be sure to feed, give them water and walk as needed.
“Victoria was fantastic. Very responsive made herself available came as requested asked questions when needed and took care of my little kitty cats while I was gone for a few days thank you Victoria!”

“Shekeyla was amazing. She communicated with us for every drop-in visit, along with pictures and how each of our pets responded to her. She gave us peace of mind that our girls were well taken of!”

“Melissa provided great communication and had a lot of patience with my not understanding how to book with this app lol. And my dog seemed very happy to have her visit! Thanks, again!”

“Samantha was super communicative during our week away. One of our dogs is a senior and I was hesitant to leave her with her mobility issues but Samantha kept me updated and sent plenty of pictures. Our dogs did not seem stressed upon our return as they had consistent company with Samantha. I highly recommend her services!”

“Brendon takes great care of my dog and she alwats seems happy and content in the pictures I get when he checks in. Hes very attentive to her well being and lets me know how she is doing when I am away, which I really appreciate.”

“Great Dog Sitter. I had to hire her to do drop-ins, after an emergency came, and when I was called to go out of town for a few days. The dog loved her. I’d 100% recommend her for anyone looking for a dog watching services. I’ll choose her again next time I need to go out of town.”

“This was our first time using Rover.com and Adara worked out great for us and for our dog Ziva. Adara has very good communication and followed through with all arrangements. She was happy to do a meet & greet with us before we hired her. We were very relieved that she was so nice and Ziva liked her immediately. We had to go out of state for a funeral and we couldnt take Ziva. Adara took away the worry we would of had. This was a great first try with Adara and Rover.com. :)”

“Deborah was amazing and took fantastic care of my cats. It was such a relief to know that they were well taken care of while I was away and she went above and beyond not only with them but with other areas around the house as well. She was great at keeping in touch and providing photos. I felt safe leaving my fur babies with her and would 1000% recommend.”

About: Hello, I've trained several dogs from puppies in basic skills and know the best way to connect with most dogs is through play. I have experience with some medical care for temporary conditions and dogs with anxious dispositions. I'm a big guy so I'm not intimidated by larger dogs and will get down on the floor so smaller dogs aren't nervous. I currently work fully remote from home and have a generally flexible schedule to allow breaks for walks or visits. I'm generally up by 6:30 am each day, but have no issues getting up earlier depending on your pet's schedule. From my house I typically walk the neighborhoods near Greenacre or head over to Bliss park. I can also make late stops up to ~ 11 pm as I know sometimes that overnight without a break can be too much for your pet. I have a large double yard with the majority being fenced/blocked but there are several open areas near the driveway and side of the house. There is a two-story house with wood floors. Depending on your pet's preferences and schedule I would keep them with me in my room. I have a 40 lb mixed rescue dog who is very sweet and timid. Depending on preference we would keep them completely separate but she will likely check them out and then hide under a bed most of the time anyway ;) She has never shown any aggression or had any issues with other dogs.
“Brittany was amazing with my pitty. This was my first time having someone check in on her, especially, since she is a very hyper & energetic pitbull. I will definitely be requesting service from her in the future!”

We highly recommend Mary Elizabeth! Our sweet, elder dog was comfortable and happy in her care. Marybeth took the time to get to know our dog prior to their first visit. She wrote things down and was communicative and responsive. Marybeth is trustworthy and although we don’t want to share her, we know she will do the same for your sweet pet!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
