“Joseiris is the best! This is my 2nd time hiring her. She's extremely responsible and professional, and my kitties love her. There is literally nothing bad to say about her.”

“Michelle was such a great sitter for my two cats! She is super attentive and caring. She always updated me with pictures and what my cats were doing. I highly recommend her. Thank you again!”

“Erin was fantastic! It was our first time booking through Rover and we were a little nervous, but she made us feel really at ease and confident that she could care for our cats. There was even a blizzard one of the days and she still made it over to check on them!”

“Caroline was amazing! We've never used Rover before, but none of our usual sitters were available. We were hesitant with Rover because we have never had someone we don't know watch our babies. Because of this, I wrote long and detailed instructions, wanting to make sure everything was communicated, knowing that it was a lot to take in. Caroline stepped in and absolutely shined. She followed every instruction, and updated us on every part of her visits. I genuinely felt like my boys were in good hands the whole time! Will be reaching out to her again next time we need a sitter!”

“I was lucky to find this wonderful family right before heading out on vacation, and I couldn’t be more grateful. From the very start, communication was clear, prompt, and professional. They were reliable and stuck to the agreed schedule, which I truly appreciated. My dog a 5 month old Standard Poodle who’s a giant ball of mischief connected with them right away. It’s clear they have tons of experience and, most importantly, a genuine love for animals. I had originally booked someone else who canceled last minute with a silly excuse… but honestly, I’m glad it happened because it led me to the right people. They deserve all the stars. Highly recommend!”

“Had Vassu come and take care of our two cats for two vacations. She was prompt and thorough. Communication was always very quick. She's dependable and will be my first choice in the future!”

“We will always appreciate the time Adam takes out of his day to look in on our two cats. It's as if he loves them as his own. It's the best kitty updates while we are away.”

“Debbie took excellent care of our senior diabetic cat while we were away for the long weekend. She kept our house clean and had great communication. We will absolutely use her again for future trips!”

“Mary did a good job watching our cat, even though our cat was extremely shy, and hardly made an appearance. Mary took care of our cats needs, and kept our home tidy, and was punctual about being here on time. Also great communication. Would recommend Mary anytime.”

“Kaitlen is exactly what you want from a pet sitter. She takes her job seriously and follows all your instructions. Her reports of the visit were very reassuring, as well as the photos. I will definitely ask for Kaitlen for my next trip! Pat Y.”

About: Hello, I've trained several dogs from puppies in basic skills and know the best way to connect with most dogs is through play. I have experience with some medical care for temporary conditions and dogs with anxious dispositions. I'm a big guy so I'm not intimidated by larger dogs and will get down on the floor so smaller dogs aren't nervous. I currently work fully remote from home and have a generally flexible schedule to allow breaks for walks or visits. I'm generally up by 6:30 am each day, but have no issues getting up earlier depending on your pet's schedule. From my house I typically walk the neighborhoods near Greenacre or head over to Bliss park. I can also make late stops up to ~ 11 pm as I know sometimes that overnight without a break can be too much for your pet. I have a large double yard with the majority being fenced/blocked but there are several open areas near the driveway and side of the house. There is a two-story house with wood floors. Depending on your pet's preferences and schedule I would keep them with me in my room. I have a 40 lb mixed rescue dog who is very sweet and timid. Depending on preference we would keep them completely separate but she will likely check them out and then hide under a bed most of the time anyway ;) She has never shown any aggression or had any issues with other dogs.

Longmeadow cat parents share their Rover experiences
He is the best! Extremely dependable, diligent about following all directions and meeting needs of your animals. We have used him twice now and know our cats are in great hands! One warmed right up and met him every day with purrs and demands for brushing. The other was her usual, stand-offish self but still came out for a few sniffs and investigation. He respected their boundaries and gave them time to get to know him on their terms. He stays in great contact as well and we were very comfortable with him as a caretaker. We highly recommend him and wouldn't hesitate to hire him again. Thank you so much!!
