About: I have been walking and caring for my own personal animals - 2 dogs, cat, bird, hamsters since I was 5 years old. I also have been dog sitting and walking for numerous neighbors and friends in the area. I work during the day a full-time job. I am available early in the morning and after 4:00pm during the week. About: We're a husband-and-wife team who spent nearly 20 years with four beloved adopted pets, all with their own quirks, personalities and needs. In another life, Laura worked in veterinary hospitals and emergency care with plans of becoming a veterinarian. “I have been very conflicted on this review. While the lead up was easy enough and Shane was responsive, the actual day of the service was just a bit odd. We were visiting from out of town and needed someone to watch our 5 month old puppy for the day. I confirmed the day before and Shane stated his girlfriend would be there as he was out until 1. No problem. Asked for her name and how I should contact her once we knew exactly what time we’d be there. He gave us her name and told us to just arrive “whenever” that she’d see us on the ring camera. Drop off was easy enough and Allie was super kind. Clear that she loves animals. We never received a follow up from Shane or any pictures or even just a note that the puppy was doing ok. Every pet sitter we’ve ever had has always sent at least 1 photo from the visit. Wasn’t a huge deal, but just interesting. We were going to arrive to pick the puppy up about 40 mins earlier than originally planned so I messaged Shane to let him know. When we got to the house Allie had the puppy ready to go and handed her over to us. Easy enough. Shane was outside. I said hello to him and thanked him. But, he never acknowledged us or said anything. Never even acknowledged the puppy as we were walking by him to pop her in the car. I was conflicted about what rating to give as the puppy seemed well cared for while there. But, the experience was a bit weird.”

“Paul is a wonderful addition to my dog’s routine! I was scrambling to figure out what to do on my 12 hour days with my newly adopted rescue female pit mix when classes started this Fall. After reviewing a few profiles, Paul’s really stuck out as someone with both passion and genuine knowledge about dogs/dog behavior. I asked him to come meet my dog before we officially booked to ensure that she reacted well to him. Within the first few minutes, my dog was on her back requesting belly rubs. I know it can be difficult to leave your pets in the care of others. Rest assured, they will be well taken care of and happy. Since I’m on summer break, my schedule is very flexible during the months of July and August. Once school is in session, I will be available most weekday evenings, weekends, and holidays. While I only have a certain amount of professional experience, I also own 2 domestic long haired cats who I’ve raised for the last 4 years. About: I have had medium/large dogs for most of my life. I have taken care of a 35lb Australian Cattle dog as well as 2 pit bulls between 55-70lbs. I've also dog-sat a dog under 10lbs and walked dogs who were 140lbs. I've also worked in home with families who had cats ranging in size and demeanor. I work full time which is why I can only do sitting on weekends. I am looking to do more hobbies and this seems like something fun for me to add. I care for my dog Zelda who's partially blind so I have an awareness for disabled pups. That is also the reason I cannot board dogs in my home. I would likely spend a large portion of my day with the dog I'm taking care of, giving them some kind of walk during the day and making sure to lock up each time I leave the home. I would make sure they are fed on time and receive the same kind of loving care I give my dogs at home.
