“Haley is just the best. She truly understands both my dog’s needs and mine! She knows the breed well, has taken the time to learn his quirks, and manages him with love and care. Her communication is always clear and effective – she keeps me updated on how my dog is doing and lets me know about any issues on at the house. I always feel at ease knowing Haley is taking care of him.”

About: I’ve taken care of pets my whole life and over that span of time have been held responsible for over 25 dogs and cats with neighbors coming back for care. I’m currently working part-time hours since I’m a full-time college student but in my spare time I would love to take care of your pets. I can maintain a safe environment , removing any hazards and ensuring door and gates are closed. As well as keeping you updated on your pets well-being and giving your pet lots of love:)
“Mary was an amazing pet sitter to our dog. She sent photos and videos daily. I could tell by the videos and photos that our dog was very well taken care of while we were away and it took the stress out of traveling, knowing that she was in such good hands. I would definitely have Mary back to pet sit. Highly recommend!”

“Ruth took excellent care of our two dogs while we were out of town. She kept us up to date with texts and messages which I really appreciate! She even taught our younger dog a new trick! Will definitely book again and highly recommend!”

“Kayla stayed at our house for a week with our 2 dogs and she did an excellent job. We highly recommend her for any of your needs with babysitting your animals when you’re thinking of getting away. We will definitely be using Kayla in the future.”

About: I have always had a pet dog and ever since I was a teenager, I’d dog-sit for family and neighbors. Since college, I’ve been pet-sitting ajd dog walking on a more professional level. I’ve babysat for a few hours, simply for a walk, but have also watched multiple high energy dogs for up to two weeks. I’ve cared for dogs under a year old and up to 13 years old. I’ve always loved dogs and find them very easy to get along with and care for no matter their size, age, or personality. I have also cared for kittens a few weeks old, senior cats, administering medication orally, grooming them if they have long hair etc. Cats have a very different energy than dogs but I enjoy taking care of them just as much as dogs. I am currently in between jobs so I have a lot of free time to care for other dogs, whether it is a short walk or a multi-hour play date, etc. I always follow whatever guidance I am provided by pet parents. This means if you are only comfortable with your dog on a leash or lead while in your yard, I strictly follow that. If there are specific commands to use, certain behavior to watch out for or discourage, particular toys or activities they enjoy, I always follow what information I am given and am always open and communicate well about any issues or concerns that might arise on my end.
“Julissa is amazing! If I could give 10 stars I would. She kept us very informed about her stay and our fur-babies. I highly recommend her and we will definitely be booking her again!”

“Thank you for communicating with me throughout your stay. I’m really glad to have feedback on how my dog is doing and what additional support I need to give him. I really look forward to you sitting with him again.”

“Shea was the perfect dog (and house) sitter. We came home to a relaxed senior dog and the house just as we had left it. Shea is professional and responsive. We will definitely be booking with Shea again!”

“She was soo great with the pups and kept me updated of their activities. My puppy is a bit shy and can sometimes run away but she was able to get her attention and keep her engaged in some playtime.”

“We had a family emergency and had to find some to housesit with our 3 dogs at very short notice. The sitter we had used in the past was not available and we then stumbled on Rachel's profile. One thing I liked was that she had so many positive reviews that were very recent. So many reviews on here are several years old, so you don't know how committed some of the people are. One of our dogs has some special needs and needs more care than normal dogs and we are always concerned about how people will cope. Anyway, my wife met Rachel 2 days before we were leaving town to go over the instructions for our pups and she was totally impressed, so we booked her. Rachel turned up on the day at the time she said she would and stayed for four days. I received frequent updates and Rachel answered my texts pretty quickly. My neighbor also said she saw Rachel out walking our dogs at least a couple of times a day. When I got home the house was as tidy as we left it and the pups were happy. Rachel also managed with the issues our one dogs has without any issues. We would definitely not hesitate to use Rachel again.”
About: Hello, I've trained several dogs from puppies in basic skills and know the best way to connect with most dogs is through play. I have experience with some medical care for temporary conditions and dogs with anxious dispositions. I'm a big guy so I'm not intimidated by larger dogs and will get down on the floor so smaller dogs aren't nervous. I currently work fully remote from home and have a generally flexible schedule to allow breaks for walks or visits. I'm generally up by 6:30 am each day, but have no issues getting up earlier depending on your pet's schedule. From my house I typically walk the neighborhoods near Greenacre or head over to Bliss park. I can also make late stops up to ~ 11 pm as I know sometimes that overnight without a break can be too much for your pet. I have a large double yard with the majority being fenced/blocked but there are several open areas near the driveway and side of the house. There is a two-story house with wood floors. Depending on your pet's preferences and schedule I would keep them with me in my room. I have a 40 lb mixed rescue dog who is very sweet and timid. Depending on preference we would keep them completely separate but she will likely check them out and then hide under a bed most of the time anyway ;) She has never shown any aggression or had any issues with other dogs.
“Cannot thank Chelsea enough for taking such good care of our pups during our vacation. She did an awesome job and went above and beyond to make sure we had a stress free time. Our pups love her and we were able to relax and enjoy our time away.”

“Aiden did an amazing job with watching our dog and house while we were away for 5 nights. Dog was well cared for, happy and comfortable while we were away. Aiden was very communicative and we returned home to our house as clean as we left it. Thank you, Aiden!”

“Jonathan did an exceptional job dog-sitting and house-sitting for us for a full week. He was incredibly conscientious and highly communicative, sending regular updates and adorable pictures. Our dog absolutely adored him, and Jonathan took such great care of our home that we barely noticed he was there—yet we returned to a spotless house. We highly recommend him without hesitation.”

“We had Chris come do an in-home stay for the first time with our reactive pitbull and he crushed it! Reactive dogs are not the easiest to find sitters for and Chris was very accommodating with setting up a meet and great before hand and had even done his own research ahead of time to make sure he was knowledgeable before going through the introduction process. Our dog warmed up to him right away and she was able to immediately identify him as a safe person since he was so calm and easy going with her. When it came time for him to stay, all that was needed was a quick reminder and they were best buds for the rest of the weekend. He quickly learns her quirks. He sent daily pictures and updates. Then when we returned, our mail was stacked on the counter and the house was very neat, just as we left it, which is always appreciated when someone stays in your home. During the introduction stage he even requested to be shown where our cleaning supplies were and when our trash gets taken out. Chris was not only an excellent dog sitter, but a great house sitter as well! We are frequent travelers and will definitely be continuing to use Chris.”

We couldn’t have asked for a better pet sitter. Shekeyla was warm, professional, thoughtful, detail-oriented and brought such calm, positive energy from the moment we met her. Our 17-year-old dog has kidney disease and requires medication, so leaving her isn’t something we take lightly – but we felt completely comfortable and confident in her care. Shekeyla kept us updated with regular messages and photos, which meant a lot. One of our favorites was a picture of the two of them snuggled up together – something our dog doesn’t even do with us anymore! At this stage in her life, we’re mostly just food providers and chauffeurs to the Jersey Mike’s parking lot for her favorite pastime: scouting for snacks. It was clear our dog was not only well cared for, but genuinely happy and relaxed when we returned. We highly recommend Shekeyla and will absolutely be using her again!
So grateful we found Regan! She agreed to a last-minute job when my scheduled sitter backed out the morning of. Her ability to work with and maintain the safety of our dog who has severe separation anxiety was nothing short of perfection! She kept me updated on our dog's well-being and pre-booking communications were timely and efficient. Really doesn't get any better than Regan. I will def book with her again!

This was my first time using a dog sitter through Rover and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Marie exceeded every expectation I had. From the moment we met, I knew Pete would be in great hands—and I was right. She sent me frequent updates and so many adorable photos, which made it so much easier to be away from my dog. It was clear they bonded quickly—honestly, I think my dog was a little disappointed when I came back! Not only was my dog happy, safe, and loved, but Marie also left my home in better shape than I left it. That level of care and attention is rare. She’s truly a gem, and we were so lucky to have found her. I’d recommend Marie to everyone without hesitation!

Kay is very friendly, reliable, and a true animal lover. He stayed in our house for a few days caring for our elderly cat, giving medications and all. When we came home the house was EXACTLY as we left it-- he tidied up after himself completely which was very nice.
