“We had Chris come do an in-home stay for the first time with our reactive pitbull and he crushed it! Reactive dogs are not the easiest to find sitters for and Chris was very accommodating with setting up a meet and great before hand and had even done his own research ahead of time to make sure he was knowledgeable before going through the introduction process. Our dog warmed up to him right away and she was able to immediately identify him as a safe person since he was so calm and easy going with her. When it came time for him to stay, all that was needed was a quick reminder and they were best buds for the rest of the weekend. He quickly learns her quirks. He sent daily pictures and updates. Then when we returned, our mail was stacked on the counter and the house was very neat, just as we left it, which is always appreciated when someone stays in your home. During the introduction stage he even requested to be shown where our cleaning supplies were and when our trash gets taken out. Chris was not only an excellent dog sitter, but a great house sitter as well! We are frequent travelers and will definitely be continuing to use Chris.”

About: I’ve taken care of various animals since I was young. Friends and family depended on me to feed, walk, and take care of their pets. I know the importance of pet care and how to have close and fun relationships with all animals, especially cats and dogs! I’m an animal lover at heart and grew up surrounded by dogs, cats, and various farm animals. I am extremely patient with animals and making sure they are taken care of, nurtured, and treated well are my top priorities as well as having fun with them! Pet care fits into my daily routine very easily! I currently take care of two cats at home and have grown up around animals so I am comfortable around them ! I am fairly available and my schedule is the following: Monday: 9 am - 10/11 pm Tuesday : 9 am - 10/11 pm Wednesday: 9 am - 10/11 pm Thursday: 9 am - 10/11 pm Friday : 9 am - 10/11 pm Saturday: 9 am - 10/11 pm Sunday : 9 am - 10/11 pm I live in a very safe area where there are many parks and fields of land surrounding it making it a prime location to have animals. I have no problem walking great distances and being patient with animals especially dogs when it comes to bathroom time. I always have a great time with very lovable, friendly, and energetic dogs and cats and enjoy spending time with them and making sure they are happy and having fun! I can always give them treats, play with them and encourage them to play with their toys, and stay with them for as long as needed! Moreover bonding with them is a process that is individual to every animal, it is not something I can rush and I will take the time to get to know every pet. If anything were to happen during my time with them I will always be available to connect with!

“Jessica was really great with our boys! They’re new to us and we didn’t know what to expect with a sitter but needed to attend a memorial today with short notice and reached out to Jessica just a couple days ago. Not only did she make herself available on short notice, she also made sure she could come by earlier today with her kids to see how everyone would interact. This was really helpful to familiarize everyone in advance and a big help to us to see how well our boys got along with “human puppies” - worked out so great! While we were gone, Jessica sent a bunch of FANTASTIC pics to keep us informed. Being new to our dogs and this being the first time we hired at home sitters for them, I think Jessica and I learned a few things simple we can do to clarify communication with each other in advance which went really well considering we had so little time to prepare! Would definitely welcome Jessica and the kids back again - our boys really loved them and enjoyed their time together - and they were happily exhausted when we got home still sleeping some 4 hours later! “Sammy stayed at our home with our Frenchies for 2 nights. Our little ones usually suffer from a fair amount of anxiety, but they felt very comfortable with her. When we got home the house was just as we left it and the dogs were very content. Sammy communicated regularly while we were away and that allowed us to really enjoy our weekend. She is very competent, conscientious and excellent with the dogs. We will definitely contact her next time and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for the best in a dog sitter.”

About: I've taken care of every kind of animal. Dogs, cats, chickens, hamsters. I've also administered medication of many kinds and I am certified in Domestic cat + dog first Aid and CPR. All animals deserve love and care no matter how big or small! I am currently working part-time during the weekdays and on weekends in the late evening. My weekend available will change to be fully available after October. Either way, your pets are my first priority! Not all of my animals get along- I have an intricate schedule of alternating my cats and dog to make sure there are no fights or stressing factors. But there is always playtime for all the animals!

About: I have always had a pet dog and ever since I was a teenager, I’d dog-sit for family and neighbors. Since college, I’ve been pet-sitting ajd dog walking on a more professional level. I’ve babysat for a few hours, simply for a walk, but have also watched multiple high energy dogs for up to two weeks. I’ve cared for dogs under a year old and up to 13 years old. I’ve always loved dogs and find them very easy to get along with and care for no matter their size, age, or personality. I have also cared for kittens a few weeks old, senior cats, administering medication orally, grooming them if they have long hair etc. Cats have a very different energy than dogs but I enjoy taking care of them just as much as dogs. I am currently in between jobs so I have a lot of free time to care for other dogs, whether it is a short walk or a multi-hour play date, etc. I always follow whatever guidance I am provided by pet parents. This means if you are only comfortable with your dog on a leash or lead while in your yard, I strictly follow that. If there are specific commands to use, certain behavior to watch out for or discourage, particular toys or activities they enjoy, I always follow what information I am given and am always open and communicate well about any issues or concerns that might arise on my end.

About: As a person whose significant other is terribly allergic to dogs it breaks my heart that I can't have one for my own. But that makes me the perfect "Doggy Auntie". The amount of friends and family that ask me to take care of their dogs while they are away is more than I can count of both hands. About: I have had medium/large dogs for most of my life. I have taken care of a 35lb Australian Cattle dog as well as 2 pit bulls between 55-70lbs. I've also dog-sat a dog under 10lbs and walked dogs who were 140lbs. I've also worked in home with families who had cats ranging in size and demeanor. I work full time which is why I can only do sitting on weekends. I am looking to do more hobbies and this seems like something fun for me to add. I care for my dog Zelda who's partially blind so I have an awareness for disabled pups. That is also the reason I cannot board dogs in my home. I would likely spend a large portion of my day with the dog I'm taking care of, giving them some kind of walk during the day and making sure to lock up each time I leave the home. I would make sure they are fed on time and receive the same kind of loving care I give my dogs at home.
