Each day we would get several updates with photos/videos which put these new puppy parents’ minds at ease. Kristin went above and beyond teaching Harvey the fundamentals of the agility course, working on his commands and giving him homemade lick mats and treats. About: I've had a connection with dogs since my early childhood. Even as a young child I was the first to recognize when the family pets were "off" and in need of special care. I trained my GSD in a Schutzhund club and have a love for all dogs. My Chihuahua has taught me a different level of caring for a dog, from becoming a dog tooth brusher to chief hawk lookout on potty breaks. My day job is a half mile from home. I work 8-12, come home for an hour lunch and return to work from 1-4. I also have an adult daughter in my home who works evenings and is usually home during day time hours. I have a small fenced area outside my kitchen door. I do not let any small dog outside without a human because I am conscious of the danger hawks pose to small dogs. I have a very large, low living room window that dogs really enjoy because they can watch the world outside unfettered. There is a bed and an ottoman by the window for comfortable viewing purposes. Routines are adhered to. Guests are treated like family, welcome to snuggle on the couch or stretch out on my bed.

About: I have been taking care of dogs almost my whole life, and finally decided to branch out and get more clients on my roster. I am a nineteen year old college student studying to become a music teacher, and I have two small dogs of my own. I have experience with large dogs, medium dogs, tiny dogs- you name it! About: I've had dogs for the past 19 years, mainly pitbulls and mastiffs. But I worked in a doggy day care in the past and have experience with all types of dogs even cats. Currently a hospital manager at an animal hospital. Open availability , early morning and evenings are great. Weekend availability as well . I work with animals all day , from cats to exotics. I can accommodate your needs however you need. Safety for your pet and I will be my main priority. I want you to feel comfortable and confident in my care. I currently work third shift 3 nights a week but have someone home on those nights. So your pets will never be alone . I also have 3 children who enjoy helping so it has become part of daily routine to do feedings and walks. I treat your pets like family, I usually request a crate for them so they have a familiar safe space in case they get overwhelmed but otherwise they free roam. I follow whatever schedule you follow at home. So if you allow your fur babies on the couch so will I. But if not I respect that and follow that as well. So it really is treating your babies like ours. I’m an early riser, so early morning feedings and walks are easy to fit into my routine. My work schedule can vary so I can be flexible with walks. I treat your animals as my own, while still following your household rules for them. I do request a crate during stays so your pets have a safe space they can feel comfortable in.

“I have been very conflicted on this review. While the lead up was easy enough and Shane was responsive, the actual day of the service was just a bit odd. We were visiting from out of town and needed someone to watch our 5 month old puppy for the day. I confirmed the day before and Shane stated his girlfriend would be there as he was out until 1. No problem. Asked for her name and how I should contact her once we knew exactly what time we’d be there. He gave us her name and told us to just arrive “whenever” that she’d see us on the ring camera. Drop off was easy enough and Allie was super kind. Clear that she loves animals. We never received a follow up from Shane or any pictures or even just a note that the puppy was doing ok. Every pet sitter we’ve ever had has always sent at least 1 photo from the visit. Wasn’t a huge deal, but just interesting. We were going to arrive to pick the puppy up about 40 mins earlier than originally planned so I messaged Shane to let him know. When we got to the house Allie had the puppy ready to go and handed her over to us. Easy enough. Shane was outside. I said hello to him and thanked him. But, he never acknowledged us or said anything. Never even acknowledged the puppy as we were walking by him to pop her in the car. I was conflicted about what rating to give as the puppy seemed well cared for while there. But, the experience was a bit weird.”

About: I’ve had dogs and cats of all sorts and sizes since I was a kid, and love playing with them. One of the requirements for our current home was to have a big yard so our boys could run free! I work from home and create my own schedule, and am an introvert so I’m almost always at my home unless I’m running an errand. This means I’ll always be here to take care of your animal and take them for walks, bathroom breaks, or play time. I have a big (unfenced) private back yard far away from any neighbors. I have two doodle’s who love to play with other dogs and two cats who will probably hide the whole time. Your pet will spend most of their time with me while I’m in my office or doing chores around the house, then the rest of the time playing with me and (optionally) my two dogs in our yard. My two doodles love other dogs and are non-aggressive, but if there are any issues I am happy to separate them. I used to train dogs in another life so I know how to handle and care for dogs.

About: I’ve had pets my whole life, and I care deeply about making sure animals in my care have a clean, safe environment where they can be happy & healthy! My pets are truly family members, and I know that others’ pets are the same for them. I’ve had experience dog-sitting for friends and family. I’m very good at following instructions, and absolutely love being with any pet! I’m a teacher who doesn’t work in the summer. Until July 26th, I’m in a musical production and will have rehearsals from 5-9 Mon-Thurs in Ellington (with shows 7/17 & 7/24 at night and shows 7/18-19 & 7/25-26 in the early afternoon), but that is currently the only regular thing I am doing! I am experienced working with animals and know how to read their body language to determine what they may need or how they’re feeling. About: I have always had a pet dog and ever since I was a teenager, I’d dog-sit for family and neighbors. Since college, I’ve been pet-sitting ajd dog walking on a more professional level. I’ve babysat for a few hours, simply for a walk, but have also watched multiple high energy dogs for up to two weeks. I’ve cared for dogs under a year old and up to 13 years old. I’ve always loved dogs and find them very easy to get along with and care for no matter their size, age, or personality. I have also cared for kittens a few weeks old, senior cats, administering medication orally, grooming them if they have long hair etc. Cats have a very different energy than dogs but I enjoy taking care of them just as much as dogs. I am currently in between jobs so I have a lot of free time to care for other dogs, whether it is a short walk or a multi-hour play date, etc. I always follow whatever guidance I am provided by pet parents. This means if you are only comfortable with your dog on a leash or lead while in your yard, I strictly follow that. If there are specific commands to use, certain behavior to watch out for or discourage, particular toys or activities they enjoy, I always follow what information I am given and am always open and communicate well about any issues or concerns that might arise on my end.
About: I’ve had dogs/cats since I was little so not only am I used to taking care of my own pets but other peoples pets as well. I am used to feeding, letting out/walking, and playing with dogs that are not my own. I can walk/ let out pets/ feed pets any day of any time I need to. Ensuring that any gates, doors are closed and or secured. I always make sure to feed the animal the appropriate amount of food. Any details about allergies/ meds or temperament I always ensure to ask prior to agreeing to care. My schedule is flexible. I’m offering house sitting in 3 areas due to my repeat clients that I’ve gotten attached to their fur babies 😊 I always make sure to follow any and all care instructions. Definitely very informative. I love sending pics and updates to the pet parents. I always make sure to ask about any behaviors or concerns.

About: I have grown up with dogs and I have trained my grandmas dog before and I took a vet tech class and learned about training dogs as well I am currently working part time at stop and shop but I always have one or two days off and am free to spend overnights at your home:) I have a fenced in backyard and lots of toys in my backyard and have two wonderful fur babies of my own in my home their names are Lola and Harry

About: I’ve loved animals since I was young, always being known to be the person who asks “Can I pet your dog?”. Having grown up living with and partially helping to train my grandparent’s standard poodle puppy at age 9, I knew then that I wanted animals in my life forever. Through the years I’ve done fundraisers for local shelters, looked after and groomed family dogs, given pet care advice, and for the last four years have worked professionally as a kennel attendant. My job has always been a joy to me, and despite its stresses I always tell people that caring for animals is the best job I could ever ask for. I’ve been able to meet and work with pets of all different breeds, sizes, temperaments, and abilities; from blind/deaf dogs, senior dogs, aggressive dogs, puppies/kittens, diabetic dogs and cats, and so many more. Each of them provides an invaluable experiences that teaches me patience, compassion, and communication. I’m now the proud owner of a 11 month old cat, Balrog, and of a 13 year old chihuahua, Mia. Though I am a full time student and a part time kennel attendant, I am able to be more flexible with my schedule over summer break. My current availability is as follows, Monday: Unavailable Tuesday: All day Wednesday: All day Thursday: All day Friday: All day Saturday: All day Sunday: Unavailable While I do not have any space in my home to keep animals at the moment, in a clients home I am happy to play with pets, let them out or go on walks, crate if desired, clean up any possible mess, and overall act as a safe and friendly part of a pet’s environment in any way possible.

“Kristin exceeded our expectations with her extraordinary care for our rambunctious 1.5 year old GSP, Harvey. Each day we would get several updates with photos/videos which put these new puppy parents’ minds at ease. We were so impressed with the amount of exercise (both physical and mental) that Harvey was getting. Kristin went above and beyond teaching Harvey the fundamentals of the agility course, working on his commands and giving him homemade lick mats and treats. Harvey was genuinely sad to leave Kristin, Mark and Kaia but we know he will be back the next time we take a trip! Thank you for everything!”

Compassionate, friendly, caring, trustworthy are just a few words to describe Alan and Luis. The house is beautiful with a gated fence and a "kiddy pool". Annie truly enjoyed her stay and playing with the other guests as evidenced by her disposition when I picked her up and the the daily photos. I will always check first with Alan and Luis in the future when I need a sitter for Annie.”

About: I’ve had dogs in my home for as long as I can remember and have years of hands-on experience with their daily care. I currently walk my dog multiple times a day and am committed to providing reliable, attentive care for every pet. I currently work from home and am able to take dog walk breaks and potty breaks throughout the day. I live within 5 minutes of multiple dog friendly trails and parks. My weekends are spent at home so I rarely leave the house as well. I have a large yard and also live nearby a park with a fenced in dog area that allows for safe and fun dog play.My dog gets along with dog of all types so safety is not an issue. I am gentle and loving and treat all dogs like my own.
