About: I’ve had a dog and 3 cats growing up. I am constantly around dogs and they all love me. My friends and neighbors have trusted to watch their animals when they are away. I just graduated college and looking for a fun job for over the summer! I have lots of free time so I am available to help with your animals whenever you need! I have one cat at home but he’s not the biggest fan of new animals. I love playing with animals and making sure they use most of the energy.

I have two rescue dogs who have had a tough life and don’t always listen PLUS three sphinx cats who are high energy, require a lot of attention, and are my entire life. Brooke and Mike came over for our initial meet and greet and ended up spending nearly two hours getting to know me and my animals. They were patient, empathetic, and answered all of my questions MORE than once. When it was time for my trip, Brooke was super communicative- she checked in to make sure my work trip was going well, she sent regular updates and pictures, and she was just generally so available and nice and supportive. I never in a million years would’ve thought “everything is gonna be fine”. It was more than fine. Brooke stayed over two nights while I was traveling for work and the house is EXACTLY in the same state I left it. I mean she even did her own dishes. My own kid doesn’t even do that when she house sits. I know this is long and rambly but honestly I was terrified going into this. “I’m gonna let a stranger stay over at my house??” I can’t stress enough how relieved and grateful I am to Brooke (and Mike). My animals acted like I hadn’t even been gone (and that’s saying a lot considering how clingy they are and how they typically act like I died and suddenly appeared back in their lives by some witchcraft if I’m gone for an afternoon). Brooke cared for my pets and my house like it was her own. I can’t wait to explore going on a real life vacation now that I’m not terrified of taking this step anymore. Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU. For anyone still doubting or questioning things (or for anyone new to the app in general), I’m more than happy to be a reference! Carol clearly has a lot of knowledge about anxious and reactive dogs and lots of good strategies for handling them.
