Over a foot of snow fell and all the dogs had a blast. The temperature on some days was frigid but Kristin still got them outside for at least for short periods of time. Indoors she kept Tess mentally active with a find a treat game. Kaia, Kristin’s dog was great at steering Tess in the right direction. Tess learned a lot and Kristin sent several suggestions that would help in her training.”

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my hands-on experience with both training and senior care. I trained my own dog, who is now 12 years old, and I currently care for him as he experiences arthritis. About: I have done both walking and house sitting for five years, and have worked with and am comfortable handling both large and small dogs. I grew up owning dogs, including a shitzu mix, a poodle mix, and a shelter girl of unknown exact breed but some sort of terrier mix (mom was a JRT). While all but one of the dogs I have owned were under 20 pounds, most of my history in pet sitting has been with has been with dogs in the 30-70 pound range, including labs, huskies, and a pit bull mix as my most frequent clients. I have experience with owning a fear reactive dog, but my comfort with taking care of them will be on a case by case basis. I also have experience with training young dogs for crating, potty training, and leash training I am currently exclusively self employed and have a flexible schedule with my income sources, so I am available most days and times of the week At this time I am only able to provide care in my clients home, I am unable to provide boarding due to limited space in my house I will work with owners to maintain your pets normal schedule, including feeding and walks. I am comfortable crating and using alternate feeders or feeding styles as needed Dogs will never be outside unattended, and will be kept on leash or in fenced in yards unless the owner specifically requests that I do otherwise. Cats will not be taken outside for any reason unless requested by owners. All animals will receive a significant amount of play and/or pet time during each visit, assuming the animal is comfortable with and enjoying it For drop ins, I will provide at least one update per visit including pictures. For continuous house sitting, as my standard I will provide at least three updates per day (morning, mid day, and afternoon/evening) with at least one photo per update. If you would like more or less updates, just let me know and I am fully willing to work with you to get you the amount of contact desired

About: All my life I’ve had a variety of different animals all including dogs, cats, birds, turtles, rabbits, etc. You name it, I have owned it. In some time spans all at the same time. Indoors she kept Tess mentally active with a find a treat game. Kaia, Kristin’s dog was great at steering Tess in the right direction.
