About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 8, from watching relatives dogs to neighbors across the street. I personally have two large German Shepards in Connecticut. I’ve volunteered at MSPCA in Boston and worked with puppies there. I’m very patient with dogs of all ages and activity levels! I am available all day! About: I’ve had dogs and cats of all sorts and sizes since I was a kid, and love playing with them. One of the requirements for our current home was to have a big yard so our boys could run free! I work from home and create my own schedule, and am an introvert so I’m almost always at my home unless I’m running an errand. This means I’ll always be here to take care of your animal and take them for walks, bathroom breaks, or play time. I have a big (unfenced) private back yard far away from any neighbors. I have two doodle’s who love to play with other dogs and two cats who will probably hide the whole time. Your pet will spend most of their time with me while I’m in my office or doing chores around the house, then the rest of the time playing with me and (optionally) my two dogs in our yard. My two doodles love other dogs and are non-aggressive, but if there are any issues I am happy to separate them. I used to train dogs in another life so I know how to handle and care for dogs.

I follow whatever schedule you follow at home. So if you allow your fur babies on the couch so will I. But if not I respect that and follow that as well. So it really is treating your babies like ours. I’m an early riser, so early morning feedings and walks are easy to fit into my routine. My work schedule can vary so I can be flexible with walks. I treat your animals as my own, while still following your household rules for them. I do request a crate during stays so your pets have a safe space they can feel comfortable in.

About: I have always had a pet dog and ever since I was a teenager, I’d dog-sit for family and neighbors. Since college, I’ve been pet-sitting ajd dog walking on a more professional level. I’ve babysat for a few hours, simply for a walk, but have also watched multiple high energy dogs for up to two weeks. I’ve cared for dogs under a year old and up to 13 years old. I’ve always loved dogs and find them very easy to get along with and care for no matter their size, age, or personality. I have also cared for kittens a few weeks old, senior cats, administering medication orally, grooming them if they have long hair etc. Cats have a very different energy than dogs but I enjoy taking care of them just as much as dogs. I am currently in between jobs so I have a lot of free time to care for other dogs, whether it is a short walk or a multi-hour play date, etc. I always follow whatever guidance I am provided by pet parents. This means if you are only comfortable with your dog on a leash or lead while in your yard, I strictly follow that. If there are specific commands to use, certain behavior to watch out for or discourage, particular toys or activities they enjoy, I always follow what information I am given and am always open and communicate well about any issues or concerns that might arise on my end.
