About: I am certified in pet first aid and CPR, and am very serious when it comes to pet care, safety, and health. I have experience in pet care through all stages (puppy - senior), and complex medical cases. Each dog and cat is an individual with their own needs, wants, and traits that need to be fulfilled and noticed. BOARDING & DAYCARE: I LOVE pet care, and providing a safe, fun, and enriching environment. I will also analyze your pets individual needs and allow them to approach me as they become comfortable. I understand how important it is to choose the right person to take care of your beloved dog or cat. My primary focus will be the safety of all pets in the house. I will also make sure you feel happy and comfortable that your pet is in my home. DROP IN VISITS: Playing, potty, feeding, cuddling, bathing... I will do whatever needs to be done to make sure your pet is both happy and safe! PLEASE NOTE: - I work full time. On Fridays, I get home around 1:30-2:00pm. - I will accept boarding OR daycare. I cannot accommodate both arrangements on the same days. - If you have one dog and more than one cat, I will accept them all. I will have a private, separate room for your cats. - I would like as much notice as possible to set up the pet care arrangement! CATS ONLY: You can drop off your pet on Thursday evening if needed I have a fenced in yard and a female dog, Sophie, who is very friendly and playful! I will always monitor them and never leave them alone without supervision. Our cat is blocked off by a 5-foot-tall gate (she stays in the bedrooms), and Sophie is in the rest of the house. My previous dog, Johnny, passed away in 2024 and throughout his life he experienced health issues that required daily oral medication (he had epilepsy and hypothyroidism, and during the last 6 months of his life he struggled with Cushing's Disease). I am experienced in how complicated medication and health issues are in pets, and I take it very seriously. I make sure our home is a calm environment filled with toys, playtime, cuddles, and mentally stimulating activities. My goal is to do what's best for the individual dog/cat and make them feel both safe and loved! If needed, there is a private pet room that will be changed to fit the dog or cat's needs. The set up will include toys, their own items the owner provides, and washable mats on the floor that will be washed/disinfected before use. If your pet needs their own private space, I will make this room a fun, and relaxing place to be! Please note: to ensure the safety of all pets in the household, I need to see the most recent Vet paperwork showing your pet is up to date on vaccines (unless health or age prevents them from receiving vaccines), and does not have a contractable health issue. Also, your pet must NOT be aggressive.

About: Hello and welcome to our Rover page! My name is Katie, and my husband Matt and I are a pet-loving family with two daughters, Autumn (11) and Keiley (8), who absolutely adore animals and are gentle, respectful, and experienced around dogs. I grew up with dogs and cats my entire life, and over the past 13 years of marriage, Matt and I raised two amazing dogs, Bella and Jack. They were truly our first babies and meant the world to us. After losing them due to age and health, we realized we’re not quite ready to start over with a new dog of our own. Instead, we’ve found so much joy in opening our home to care for other families’ dogs while they travel. This journey began during a time of transition for our family, and while it has helped us financially, the truth is—we do this because we genuinely love dogs. Every pup that comes into our home is treated like a member of the family, with plenty of love, attention, belly rubs, and cuddles. We don’t offer anything less than that. We provide everything your dog may need during their stay, including crates, dog gates, beds, bowls, and treats. Dogs enjoy outdoor time on a leash or lead (we do not have a fenced yard), as well as regular walks and playtime. Three days a week, either Matt or I are home full-time, ensuring your pup has plenty of companionship and minimal alone time. We currently host a maximum of two dogs at a time to ensure each one receives the attention they deserve. In the rare case of a double booking, we always communicate with both families beforehand to make sure everyone is comfortable. We also offer doggy daycare on Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. We’ve been lucky to meet so many wonderful families and pups, and we would love the opportunity to meet you and yours next. Please feel free to reach out—we can’t wait to welcome your dog into our home! I currently work part-time which allows me more time to be home to care for your pups. Our current schedule is Mondays and Fridays pups would be alone. Tuesdays and Thursdays Matt works from home. And Wednesday is my day off. Dogs will either be walked or can be on a lead for more area with someone outside with them. Dogs will receive a lot of attention from all of us.
