“I was terrified to use a service. I have two rescue dogs who have had a tough life and don’t always listen PLUS three sphinx cats who are high energy, require a lot of attention, and are my entire life. Brooke and Mike came over for our initial meet and greet and ended up spending nearly two hours getting to know me and my animals. They were patient, empathetic, and answered all of my questions MORE than once. When it was time for my trip, Brooke was super communicative- she checked in to make sure my work trip was going well, she sent regular updates and pictures, and she was just generally so available and nice and supportive. I never in a million years would’ve thought “everything is gonna be fine”. It was more than fine. Brooke stayed over two nights while I was traveling for work and the house is EXACTLY in the same state I left it. I mean she even did her own dishes. My own kid doesn’t even do that when she house sits. My animals acted like I hadn’t even been gone (and that’s saying a lot considering how clingy they are and how they typically act like I died and suddenly appeared back in their lives by some witchcraft if I’m gone for an afternoon). Brooke cared for my pets and my house like it was her own. I can’t wait to explore going on a real life vacation now that I’m not terrified of taking this step anymore. About: I’ve had a dog and 3 cats growing up. I am constantly around dogs and they all love me. My friends and neighbors have trusted to watch their animals when they are away. I just graduated college and looking for a fun job for over the summer! I have lots of free time so I am available to help with your animals whenever you need! I have one cat at home but he’s not the biggest fan of new animals. I love playing with animals and making sure they use most of the energy.

About: I’ve taken care of many pets over the years. I’ve done both drop-ins for walking and feeding, as well as house sitting to provide enrichment and company. Every animal that I’ve met has liked me, even if their owner says they’re normally shy around new people, which I take as the highest compliment. I’ve administered medication, and the safety and wellbeing of the pet is my top priority. I respect any boundaries that the animal displays, whether it’s distance or petting, and I make sure to ask for any special routines or needs up front to make sure I can take care of them to the best of my ability. I work full time during the week while also being a full time online student, but I’m available to stop in before 8:45am and after 6:30pm. Weekends are usually open for drop-ins or house sitting. If there are any baby gates or areas restricted to the pets, I make sure to keep an eye on that. I wipe paws after being outside to keep the house clean, and if your pet needs company while they eat, I’ll absolutely sit with them.
