About: I've had dogs for the past 19 years, mainly pitbulls and mastiffs. But I worked in a doggy day care in the past and have experience with all types of dogs even cats. Currently a hospital manager at an animal hospital. Open availability , early morning and evenings are great. Weekend availability as well . I work with animals all day , from cats to exotics. I can accommodate your needs however you need. Safety for your pet and I will be my main priority. I want you to feel comfortable and confident in my care. I currently work third shift 3 nights a week but have someone home on those nights. So your pets will never be alone . I also have 3 children who enjoy helping so it has become part of daily routine to do feedings and walks. I treat your pets like family, I usually request a crate for them so they have a familiar safe space in case they get overwhelmed but otherwise they free roam. I follow whatever schedule you follow at home. So if you allow your fur babies on the couch so will I. But if not I respect that and follow that as well. So it really is treating your babies like ours. I’m an early riser, so early morning feedings and walks are easy to fit into my routine. My work schedule can vary so I can be flexible with walks. I treat your animals as my own, while still following your household rules for them. I do request a crate during stays so your pets have a safe space they can feel comfortable in.

Outside, they enjoy a fully fenced 2-acre yard with secure 5-foot fencing, dog-safe vegetation for natural enrichment, shaded rest areas, play structures, agility equipment, and supervised swimming in a 700-gallon chemical-free dog pool (owner approval needed). Every stay includes individualized enrichment, toys, and treats tailored to your dog's preferences, routine, and any dietary needs, allergies, or sensitivities.

“I have been very conflicted on this review. While the lead up was easy enough and Shane was responsive, the actual day of the service was just a bit odd. We were visiting from out of town and needed someone to watch our 5 month old puppy for the day. I confirmed the day before and Shane stated his girlfriend would be there as he was out until 1. No problem. Asked for her name and how I should contact her once we knew exactly what time we’d be there. He gave us her name and told us to just arrive “whenever” that she’d see us on the ring camera. Drop off was easy enough and Allie was super kind. Clear that she loves animals. We never received a follow up from Shane or any pictures or even just a note that the puppy was doing ok. Every pet sitter we’ve ever had has always sent at least 1 photo from the visit. Wasn’t a huge deal, but just interesting. We were going to arrive to pick the puppy up about 40 mins earlier than originally planned so I messaged Shane to let him know. When we got to the house Allie had the puppy ready to go and handed her over to us. Easy enough. Shane was outside. I said hello to him and thanked him. But, he never acknowledged us or said anything. Never even acknowledged the puppy as we were walking by him to pop her in the car. I was conflicted about what rating to give as the puppy seemed well cared for while there. But, the experience was a bit weird.”

About: I have experience with all kinds of dogs of all sizes. I have owned 3 pitbulls so I for sure know how to handle dogs that size. I also have a park near my house that is very discrete where the dogs can come roam around. It is fenced and barely anyone ever goes to. I used to bring my dogs over there when I had them. I am available full time if needed. I work from home. I can do pick up & drop as well. Please let me know, it would be my pleasure! I care for the dog as if they are my own. I know animals can become family, just as mine have became family. I will go accordingly to your dogs schedules and make sure they have the best care.

About: I’ve had dogs in my home for as long as I can remember and have years of hands-on experience with their daily care. I currently walk my dog multiple times a day and am committed to providing reliable, attentive care for every pet. I currently work from home and am able to take dog walk breaks and potty breaks throughout the day. I live within 5 minutes of multiple dog friendly trails and parks. My weekends are spent at home so I rarely leave the house as well. I have a large yard and also live nearby a park with a fenced in dog area that allows for safe and fun dog play.My dog gets along with dog of all types so safety is not an issue. I am gentle and loving and treat all dogs like my own.

About: I have been fostering dogs for over a year. In the past year, I've cared for eleven foster dogs as they wait for their forever homes; in addition to this, I am the first person friends and family call to watch their dogs when they go out of town. Over the past year, I've dog-sat for seven different friends and family members, caring for pit mixes, boxers, a bernedoodle, golden doodles, and several rescue mixes. I am experienced working with all kinds of dogs; large and small, young puppies to senior dogs in need of additional medical support. I've completed Family Dog I and Family Dog II training classes at Tails-U-Win in Manchester, CT, with my parents' German Shepherd mix. I work from home and have a relatively flexible schedule, so I have the ability to be with your pets for the vast majority of the day, ensuring they are well cared for. I adjust activities, depending on the specific dog and their needs. I love to walk and hike, and for active dogs, I know of many trails and parks within 10-15 minutes of my home. For lower-energy dogs, we walk around my neighborhood and spend time in the yard. I have a plethora of enrichment toys and games - puzzles, snuffle rugs, kong wobbles, and more. Totally depends on the dogs and their unique needs.
