“I have been very conflicted on this review. While the lead up was easy enough and Shane was responsive, the actual day of the service was just a bit odd. We were visiting from out of town and needed someone to watch our 5 month old puppy for the day. I confirmed the day before and Shane stated his girlfriend would be there as he was out until 1. No problem. Asked for her name and how I should contact her once we knew exactly what time we’d be there. He gave us her name and told us to just arrive “whenever” that she’d see us on the ring camera. Drop off was easy enough and Allie was super kind. Clear that she loves animals. We never received a follow up from Shane or any pictures or even just a note that the puppy was doing ok. Every pet sitter we’ve ever had has always sent at least 1 photo from the visit. Wasn’t a huge deal, but just interesting. We were going to arrive to pick the puppy up about 40 mins earlier than originally planned so I messaged Shane to let him know. When we got to the house Allie had the puppy ready to go and handed her over to us. Easy enough. Shane was outside. I said hello to him and thanked him. But, he never acknowledged us or said anything. Never even acknowledged the puppy as we were walking by him to pop her in the car. I was conflicted about what rating to give as the puppy seemed well cared for while there. But, the experience was a bit weird.”

You can tell Paul is an experienced dog professional and I felt at ease my entire vacation! He pooped my 3.5 year old girl out! When I picked her up she was excited to see me but when we got home she laid on the couch and started to snore!! Her days were filled with adventures! I wholeheartedly recommend Paul. I have a calm, non-intimidating approach and enjoy earning an animal’s trust through kindness, affection, and consistency. I’m comfortable walking, bathing, brushing and grooming pets, and animals in my care are treated like family and welcome throughout my home. I’m also very comfortable with senior pets and understand that they may need a slower pace, extra attention, and lots of reassurance. I’ve had dogs and cats my entire life, and caring for animals is something I truly enjoy. I love spending time with them, whether we’re walking, playing, relaxing together, or just keeping each other company. I’m happy to give each pet the time and attention they need and will follow their normal routine as closely as possible. I can he as active as you want me to be, including hiking, going to parks, anywhere you like! I can also stay at home if your dog has low energy or special needs. Pets are welcome throughout my home and are treated like part of the family. I especially enjoy caring for shy, timid, or nervous pets who may need extra patience. I have a calm, non-intimidating approach and give them the time and space they need to feel safe and learn to trust me. I’m comfortable walking dogs and helping with bathing and basic grooming, and I always follow the owner’s instructions for feeding, exercise, medications, routines, and house rules. About: I am an elementary physical education teacher who plays a lot of sports and loves to hang out with friends and family. I love playing and taking care of dogs. When I was younger I first started to dog sit for a few friends when they go out of town for the week/weekend, but now I enjoy giving all of my free time an attention to dogs. I love to run with dogs and play with them in the yard or at parks and see the smile on their face when they are playing with their toys!
