I really appreciated how she took the time to observe and learn about my dog’s personality to help her feel more comfortable. Communication was excellent throughout, and my very active dog got tons of exercise — she even went on a two-hour hike that she absolutely loved! When my pup ran out of food, Haoran kindly provided her own without hesitation. My dog can be pretty anxious, but Haoran and her husband showed such patience and genuine care. About: I’ve had dogs in my home for as long as I can remember and have years of hands-on experience with their daily care. I currently walk my dog multiple times a day and am committed to providing reliable, attentive care for every pet. I currently work from home and am able to take dog walk breaks and potty breaks throughout the day. I live within 5 minutes of multiple dog friendly trails and parks. My weekends are spent at home so I rarely leave the house as well. I have a large yard and also live nearby a park with a fenced in dog area that allows for safe and fun dog play.My dog gets along with dog of all types so safety is not an issue. I am gentle and loving and treat all dogs like my own.

About: I've had a connection with dogs since my early childhood. Even as a young child I was the first to recognize when the family pets were "off" and in need of special care. I trained my GSD in a Schutzhund club and have a love for all dogs. My Chihuahua has taught me a different level of caring for a dog, from becoming a dog tooth brusher to chief hawk lookout on potty breaks. My day job is a half mile from home. I work 8-12, come home for an hour lunch and return to work from 1-4. I also have an adult daughter in my home who works evenings and is usually home during day time hours. I have a small fenced area outside my kitchen door. I do not let any small dog outside without a human because I am conscious of the danger hawks pose to small dogs. I have a very large, low living room window that dogs really enjoy because they can watch the world outside unfettered. There is a bed and an ottoman by the window for comfortable viewing purposes. Routines are adhered to. Guests are treated like family, welcome to snuggle on the couch or stretch out on my bed.

They sent me so many updates and adorable pictures, which helped ease my worries and let me enjoy my time away knowing he was in great hands. Cooper got plenty of walks and had lots of playtime in the yard, he looked so happy and relaxed in every picture they sent! It’s clear they really cared about his comfort and well-being. Overall, Alex and his wife were fantastic, and Cooper is definitely excited to visit again. I’m so happy to have found a safe, loving place for my pup to stay!
