About: I have been surrounded by dogs my entire life and currently share my home with an adorable, friendly Chihuahua. This lifelong experience allows me to deeply understand canine behavior, accurately read their body language, and anticipate their needs to ensure total safety at all times. What sets me apart is that your dog will not just be watched—they will truly become part of our family. My Chihuahua is very social and provides wonderful, gentle companionship. For safety and harmony in my home, I specialize in hosting puppies, small dogs, and medium-sized dogs only. I strictly follow your pet's routine and send daily photo updates for your peace of mind! I work from home full-time, which means your dog will have constant supervision and companionship throughout the day. My daily routine revolves around pet care. I take my Chihuahua out for regular potty breaks and playtime in my backyard, as well as fun walks around our quiet neighborhood. Because I am always here, I can easily adapt to your puppy or dog's specific feeding schedule, medication needs, and behavioral routines without any disruption. Safety is my absolute priority. Since I work from home full-time, guest dogs are under my constant supervision. My home is entirely dog-proofed, with no accessible hazards, toxic plants, or small objects. Outside, playtime takes place safely in my secure backyard under a watchful eye.To build trust and maintain harmony, I always introduce new dogs to my friendly Chihuahua slowly on neutral ground. I strictly follow your specific instructions regarding feeding, crate training, and routines. I also keep my front door securely locked and always use a leash during neighborhood walks to prevent any escapes. You will receive daily photo updates so you know your pet is safe, happy, and loved.
“Our senior rescue pup, Blake, had another great stay with Kristin! Roger and I are so happy to have found someone who truly loves dogs and provides such a safe and enriching environment for the "pack." Blake loves being around other dogs and he is very comfortable being at Kristin's home. Highly recommend!”

“kim did a fabulous job with our two dogs, one of whom had just 2 days before been diagnosed with Diabetes and needed injections as well as a pill. She handled it all beautifully and I loved the photos she sent as well as her comfy house. will definitely book again🔆”
“Amy was wonderful! She cared for my anxious Minnie Schnauzer, sending me updates and photos each day, and that set my mind at ease. Instant good vibe from Amy. Clean, comfortable home with a fenced yard, and daily walks. I will definitely call her again.”

“A safe, loving place to leave our pup! They take such good care of our dog, and Sophie seems right at home with them and their own two pups. We love having this wonderful option so close to home.”

“Blue was very happy at MJ's. MJ got back to us when no one else could during the beginning of a holiday weekend. She and her family were very accommodating and my pup felt at home there. Super happy with a great first visit ... I would not hesitate at all to bring him back. Plus her pups are friendly and Blue had a great time with them, including playing with the fam in the yard. He's out cold right now, the sign of a fun and active day.”

“Our two dogs spent five days with Cruz. They came home happy, calm and healthy. No side effects from being away from us. It was obvious they felt safe and had great care.”

“Andrea did a fantastic job caring for our dog. She was responsive and sent us pictures throughout the stay. I will definitely use Andrea again when we need care for our dog.”

“Sarah was amazing! From the beginning, she was very responsive to all of our questions about the booking. Our dog tends to be shy and can sometimes be aggressive with other dogs, but Sarah made it work, and our dog got along with hers right away. She sent us daily updates with photos and videos, which gave us great peace of mind. Our dog was very happy during her stay! We will definitely book with Sarah again and highly recommend her as a dog sitter.”

“Triba is the best thing that could happen with a super worried cat mom, she arranged our video calls while I was away. She loved her like her own, she is definitely becoming her foster mom permanently ?”

“Glorymar and her husband are so welcoming, friendly and polite! Billy Ray had a nice time there, and she gave a full report, so I could tell how very much she cared for our precious boy! She was also very accommodating and flexible with our plans.”

“Our dog, who is a recent rescue and a little nervous, settled in quickly. Haoran sent us lots of updates and pictures, whichhelped us feel comfortable about her stay. We will definitely use her again!”

“Brittany did an exceptional job taking care of our 3 year old Corgi. It was for an extended stay of two weeks, and our first time with a sitter or Rover. We were nervous at first as most first-timers, but she immediately put us at ease. After a meet and greet with a few different sitters, she was the clear choice. You can tell she has a love for animals and for what she does. Our Corgi, Loki, is a bit shy and timid at first but he took to her very quickly. After a few days of communication and photos, it was easy to tell that he was having a great time! Brittany was prompt, attentive, and flexible. Loki came home after two weeks happy like he never left! We recommend her to everyone and would definitely book again. Thanks, Brittany!”

“Summer was amazing with our dog, Abby. She provided pictures and updates regularly. Abby seemed really comfortable when we took her to meet Summer. We appreciate all of the snuggle time Abby got and will not hesitate to leave her in Summer’s care again! Thank you for everything, Summer.”

“Katie and her family took incredible care of my little fur baby. It was the first time that Bodhi was left with anyone but family and Katie took incredible care of him. I would definitely use Katie again.”

“I booked Rachel last minute fully expecting for her to not respond or say she was available and she responded within minutes for my last second request. She and her family took excellent care of Hank and sent me several pictures and updates through out. 10/10. Very happy to have found someone trust worthy i can leave my dog with and have no worries without feeling like i am burdening friends or family.”

“Klaudia was awesome! Our elderly dog had a health crisis while she was caring for him, and she took him to the vet, was very good with communication, and really cared about our guy for 2 days while we made our way home early from vacation. Highest recommendation!!”

“We have a 10 month old rescue and were looking for a family with multiple dogs to keep our pup entertained and engaged for our first time leaving him for over a week. Kristin is the perfect fit! She is patient and accommodating and very communicative. Our dog thrived in her care and yours will too. We hope she is available next time we go out of town.”

“Great stay with fantastic photos/videos, playmates, and I can tell just how well Jenn and Inam care for all of the pups... definitely looking forward to future stays!”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
