About: I've had a connection with dogs since my early childhood. Even as a young child I was the first to recognize when the family pets were "off" and in need of special care. I trained my GSD in a Schutzhund club and have a love for all dogs. My Chihuahua has taught me a different level of caring for a dog, from becoming a dog tooth brusher to chief hawk lookout on potty breaks. My day job is a half mile from home. I work 8-12, come home for an hour lunch and return to work from 1-4. I also have an adult daughter in my home who works evenings and is usually home during day time hours. I have a small fenced area outside my kitchen door. I do not let any small dog outside without a human because I am conscious of the danger hawks pose to small dogs. I have a very large, low living room window that dogs really enjoy because they can watch the world outside unfettered. There is a bed and an ottoman by the window for comfortable viewing purposes. Routines are adhered to. Guests are treated like family, welcome to snuggle on the couch or stretch out on my bed.

About: I've had dogs for the past 19 years, mainly pitbulls and mastiffs. But I worked in a doggy day care in the past and have experience with all types of dogs even cats. Currently a hospital manager at an animal hospital. Open availability , early morning and evenings are great. Weekend availability as well . I work with animals all day , from cats to exotics. I can accommodate your needs however you need. Safety for your pet and I will be my main priority. I want you to feel comfortable and confident in my care. I currently work third shift 3 nights a week but have someone home on those nights. So your pets will never be alone . I also have 3 children who enjoy helping so it has become part of daily routine to do feedings and walks. I treat your pets like family, I usually request a crate for them so they have a familiar safe space in case they get overwhelmed but otherwise they free roam. I follow whatever schedule you follow at home. So if you allow your fur babies on the couch so will I. But if not I respect that and follow that as well. So it really is treating your babies like ours. I’m an early riser, so early morning feedings and walks are easy to fit into my routine. My work schedule can vary so I can be flexible with walks. I treat your animals as my own, while still following your household rules for them. I do request a crate during stays so your pets have a safe space they can feel comfortable in.

“I have been very conflicted on this review. While the lead up was easy enough and Shane was responsive, the actual day of the service was just a bit odd. We were visiting from out of town and needed someone to watch our 5 month old puppy for the day. I confirmed the day before and Shane stated his girlfriend would be there as he was out until 1. No problem. Asked for her name and how I should contact her once we knew exactly what time we’d be there. He gave us her name and told us to just arrive “whenever” that she’d see us on the ring camera. Drop off was easy enough and Allie was super kind. Clear that she loves animals. We never received a follow up from Shane or any pictures or even just a note that the puppy was doing ok. Every pet sitter we’ve ever had has always sent at least 1 photo from the visit. Wasn’t a huge deal, but just interesting. We were going to arrive to pick the puppy up about 40 mins earlier than originally planned so I messaged Shane to let him know. When we got to the house Allie had the puppy ready to go and handed her over to us. Easy enough. Shane was outside. I said hello to him and thanked him. But, he never acknowledged us or said anything. Never even acknowledged the puppy as we were walking by him to pop her in the car. I was conflicted about what rating to give as the puppy seemed well cared for while there. But, the experience was a bit weird.”

I currently walk my dog multiple times a day and am committed to providing reliable, attentive care for every pet. I currently work from home and am able to take dog walk breaks and potty breaks throughout the day. I live within 5 minutes of multiple dog friendly trails and parks. My weekends are spent at home so I rarely leave the house as well. I have a large yard and also live nearby a park with a fenced in dog area that allows for safe and fun dog play.My dog gets along with dog of all types so safety is not an issue. About: I’ve had dogs and cats of all sorts and sizes since I was a kid, and love playing with them. One of the requirements for our current home was to have a big yard so our boys could run free! I work from home and create my own schedule, and am an introvert so I’m almost always at my home unless I’m running an errand. This means I’ll always be here to take care of your animal and take them for walks, bathroom breaks, or play time. I have a big (unfenced) private back yard far away from any neighbors. I have two doodle’s who love to play with other dogs and two cats who will probably hide the whole time. Your pet will spend most of their time with me while I’m in my office or doing chores around the house, then the rest of the time playing with me and (optionally) my two dogs in our yard. My two doodles love other dogs and are non-aggressive, but if there are any issues I am happy to separate them. I used to train dogs in another life so I know how to handle and care for dogs.

About: I have always had a pet dog and ever since I was a teenager, I’d dog-sit for family and neighbors. Since college, I’ve been pet-sitting ajd dog walking on a more professional level. I’ve babysat for a few hours, simply for a walk, but have also watched multiple high energy dogs for up to two weeks. I’ve cared for dogs under a year old and up to 13 years old. I’ve always loved dogs and find them very easy to get along with and care for no matter their size, age, or personality. I have also cared for kittens a few weeks old, senior cats, administering medication orally, grooming them if they have long hair etc. Cats have a very different energy than dogs but I enjoy taking care of them just as much as dogs. I am currently in between jobs so I have a lot of free time to care for other dogs, whether it is a short walk or a multi-hour play date, etc. I always follow whatever guidance I am provided by pet parents. This means if you are only comfortable with your dog on a leash or lead while in your yard, I strictly follow that. If there are specific commands to use, certain behavior to watch out for or discourage, particular toys or activities they enjoy, I always follow what information I am given and am always open and communicate well about any issues or concerns that might arise on my end.

Having grown up living with and partially helping to train my grandparent’s standard poodle puppy at age 9, I knew then that I wanted animals in my life forever. This summer I am only working in the morning on Saturdays and afternoon on Sundays, making my schedule free and flexible for your pet’s needs! I am expected to start my full time job in September, but I am happy to continue dog sitting for you when time allows : ) I follow each owner’s instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walking routines, crate use, and any special needs or medications. I understand that every dog is different and has individualized needs, and I am happy to help them in whatever way I can. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect their space and routines. I also provide regular updates and photos, so owners feel confident their pet is safe and happy while they’re away.
About: I've had a passion for caring for animals ever since I can remember. I would often pet sit for friends and family and I quickly learned I wanted to spend my life working with animals. Fast forward to the present, I am a full-time pet sitter that keeps a special place in my heart for each and every four-legged friend I've been able to care for! Pet care is my full-time job, so your pet is my top priority! I am available every weekday, weekends, and most holidays. I am available for overnight stays and drop-in visits. Overnight stays allow your pet to have someone there all day and all night to get the love they need while you can't be there; and drop-in visits allow your pet to get the care they need at the times they are used to at a frequency you pick. Feel at ease knowing your pet is in the comfort of their own home able to carry out their normal routine- whatever feeding, potty, and walk times your furry friend is used to.
About: I have experience with all kinds of dogs of all sizes. I have owned 3 pitbulls so I for sure know how to handle dogs that size. I also have a park near my house that is very discrete where the dogs can come roam around. It is fenced and barely anyone ever goes to. I used to bring my dogs over there when I had them. I am available full time if needed. I work from home. I can do pick up & drop as well. Please let me know, it would be my pleasure! I care for the dog as if they are my own. About: I have taken care of family pets for approximately 8 years. I am an avid animal lover and will treat your pet as my own. I’m currently working part time and have plenty of time to play with your fur baby as well as keep to any desired schedules. I have a fenced yard with a friendly dog that will love to keep your fur baby company. I can also crate your dog if that’s preferred.
