We love welcoming other pups into our home. We have a golden retriever who is 7 years old and loves other dogs. I’m home for work most days and my wife everyday. We can be accommodating to whatever is needed for your pup! We’re happy to take them on regular walks, to the park, or play in the yard with them, and will send all the pics letting you know how your pup is doing. I currently work from home and am able to take dog walk breaks and potty breaks throughout the day. I live within 5 minutes of multiple dog friendly trails and parks. My weekends are spent at home so I rarely leave the house as well. “I have been very conflicted on this review. While the lead up was easy enough and Shane was responsive, the actual day of the service was just a bit odd. We were visiting from out of town and needed someone to watch our 5 month old puppy for the day. I confirmed the day before and Shane stated his girlfriend would be there as he was out until 1. No problem. Asked for her name and how I should contact her once we knew exactly what time we’d be there. He gave us her name and told us to just arrive “whenever” that she’d see us on the ring camera. Drop off was easy enough and Allie was super kind. Clear that she loves animals. We never received a follow up from Shane or any pictures or even just a note that the puppy was doing ok. Every pet sitter we’ve ever had has always sent at least 1 photo from the visit. Wasn’t a huge deal, but just interesting. We were going to arrive to pick the puppy up about 40 mins earlier than originally planned so I messaged Shane to let him know. When we got to the house Allie had the puppy ready to go and handed her over to us. Easy enough. Shane was outside. I said hello to him and thanked him. But, he never acknowledged us or said anything. Never even acknowledged the puppy as we were walking by him to pop her in the car. I was conflicted about what rating to give as the puppy seemed well cared for while there. But, the experience was a bit weird.”

About: I’ve had a pup (a Pitbull mix!) for about 9 years now which has been the best. I’ve gone through crate and potty training with him as a pup and later behavior training to curb some challenging behaviors. This makes me super flexible with providing commands of all levels and maintaining training progress. Friends and family have asked me to look after their pets, of all sizes, breeds, and ages. I’ve comfortable with giving medications, feeding, bathing, walking, and maintains training skills as needed. I try to be as flexible as I can to the dog’s needs and preferences (as well as the owners!). I’m currently a full-time graduate student, working part-time, and have other responsibilities! I mainly have availability in the evenings on weekdays and have open availability on weekends. Feel free to reach out to see if anything else would work! :) I definitely let the pet warm up to me, just to establish that comfort and safety within the pet. I can crate the pet if needed, either for sleep or for feeding. I definitely want them to be comfortable in their own spaces so I’m pretty open to doing what I can to make that happen!

They get the daily interaction, attention, and comfort they're used to, and I get to relax knowing they're being treated like part of her family. I have a very anxious pup with lots of different triggers, and Christle was amazing at helping me feel at ease. Over the two weeks my dog stayed with her, she sent updates and reassured me that my fur baby was doing great and adapting well — which really speaks to her and her family’s incredible patience and care. I am almost at disbelief with how well my dog was doing in her home! It was so clear that she treated my dog like one of her own — she completely spoiled her in the best way possible!
