About: Hi, I’m Oli! I’m an artist and all-around goofy and laid-back guy who loves animals of all kinds, and especially cats! I’ve owned cats my whole life, and my boyfriend and I currently own two lovely cats, Zuko and Azula. I’m big into understanding animal behavior and I know that cats need extra time and patience to truly get comfortable with you, and I’m more than happy to give that. I’ve been able to befriend most cats I’ve met and I’m always happy to meet them on their terms. Azula, our younger cat, was actually feral when we found her living under our porch with her sister and mother, and we took in the two kittens and socialized them over about two months. In this time, I learned first hand how to work with less-social cats and gain the trust of animals that have no reason to trust a human. We also provided them all of their vet care, got them vaccinated, and treated them topically for fleas and orally for worms in this time. This gave me great experience with administering medication, even with cats that aren’t cooperative. Nowadays, you would never know Azula had been feral. She’s one of the most loving and trusting cats I’ve ever met, and she’s such a special girl! My experience with fostering and socializing cats gives me a good base for dealing with any cat, even those that are a little more standoffish and need some extra patience! Above all, respecting the cat’s boundaries and space are top priority for me! I also have experience with small animals and reptiles, having owned rats and a snake in the past and caring for a roommate’s bearded dragons many times. I love all creatures no matter how small! I am currently between jobs, so I am available for check-ins at any time of day, though morning and early evening visits still work best! Since cats are creatures of habit that truly need a familiar environment to thrive, I will only offer at-home check-ins. I have worked with another sitting platform for over a year that operates with this model and I have been fully background checked and vetted by them. I’ll meet with you beforehand to figure out house and key details, and I will always keep in touch when I’ve been to visit!

I have experience taking care of families and friends dogs and cats, whether that was staying at their house and following their routines, taking the dogs out for walks, or simply popping in for their meal time. About: I’ve been working with animals since before I knew my times tables. I’ve cared for dogs, cats, birds, guinea pigs, fish, and more, and I love every minute of it. I’ve participated in training with my dog when she was a puppy, and am able to further use those skills and knowledge to help me care for other’s animals too :) I currently work full time, so morning and dinner time check-ins are easiest for me. Mondays and Fridays I only work until 12:30PM, so drop-ins are easier then. Let me know though if you have a weird schedule, we can work something out :) I have a large back yard with plenty of safe space to run. The pups are always supervised, whether on or off leash. I always prefer to meet with a pet before the care period so I and my pets can get to know them :)

Live by the rule of treating the other's pet as I would like mine treated, and opening up to furballs of all sizes (from chihuahua to pitbullS, yes plural, they were 3 gorgeous pitbull siblings). I successfully cared for and walked (and spoiled) Lola, Sweetie, Bailey, Roscoe, and Nugget. I pet-sitted in Lola's country house and Sweetie's small city apartment, making sure they were safe and comfortable at home while their hoomans were away. I'm your guy for any holidays, unexpected travel, long three day weekends, or any other festivity that you need reliable pet sitting, pet check-in or walks for.
