About: As someone who has grown up always having dogs and cats, I know how important it is to have someone who is comfortable and loves being around animals to take care of them. I have been dog sitting family friends’s dogs and pets since I was 19. I work Monday-Friday on a 9-3:30 schedule. I am available before work and after 3:30 during the week. During the summer I will have more availability. I think it’s important to build trust with animals by providing them the space they need, especially when you’re someone new to them. I care for my own pets by spending quality time with them by taking them on walks (dogs, or even cats if that’s what you are looking for too!) and with my own pets, giving them lots of love and affection and an occasional treat (or 2.)
“I was lucky to find this wonderful family right before heading out on vacation, and I couldn’t be more grateful. From the very start, communication was clear, prompt, and professional. They were reliable and stuck to the agreed schedule, which I truly appreciated. My dog a 5 month old Standard Poodle who’s a giant ball of mischief connected with them right away. It’s clear they have tons of experience and, most importantly, a genuine love for animals. I had originally booked someone else who canceled last minute with a silly excuse… but honestly, I’m glad it happened because it led me to the right people. They deserve all the stars. Highly recommend!”

“Amazing service, I was out for a week for work and Hannah make a trip everyday to check on my cat so I don't have to worry about it much.. Really appreciative of her help. Very affordable price and, good communication, impressive service all around. Definitely will call her back for her service.”

About: Ive had a dog for 5 years. She’s a corgi and her name is Lily. I have potty trained her and trained her on several commands. I would love and care any other dog as if they were my own. I work full time so this would be more of a part time thing whenever I’m available. I work from home so getting out and walking or watching dogs would be great. I have a fenced in yard and have one dog and two cats. I won’t be boarding for now. This would be more of taking them on walks or check in on them or house sit.

About: I worked in a dog daycare facility and have provided many services. I have experience feeding , giving medication, bathing and trimming nails. I have loved dogs all my life but have never had the chance to own one so I do my best to provide quality care and love to any dog I see. I am going to be doing some schooling so I will balance school work with my rover work as well as I can by leaving some days closed off so I can focus on my schoolwork. To start I am only going to be doing walks and drop ins to get used to how the river life works but will probably eventually provide all services.
About: I’m so excited to meet you and your furry friend! As a dedicated pet sitter, my goal is to make sure your dog feels loved, safe, and happy while you’re away. Whether it’s long walks, playful fetch sessions, or just cozy cuddle time, I’ll treat your pup as if they were my own. Every tail wag, happy bark, and joyful moment matters to me, and I can’t wait to give your dog the care and attention they deserve. Let’s make their time with me an experience full of fun and love! I board/walk on a FT basis, I have 12yrs of experience and I would love the chance to sit your pup when needed. Can’t wait to meet you. I treat each and every pet like their my own. I’m very passionate about my love for dogs and I’ve have many since a kid.
“Alison is legitimately the best pet care provider I have EVER had. My cat fell completely in love with her. Every picture, Frannie was interacting with Alison. Keep in mind that Alison and Frannie were strangers to each other. Frannie was sitting in Alison's lap making biscuits on day one. Alison sent so many great photos and responded so quickly to all of my messages. When I got home the litter box was clean and the floor was clean. She literally vacuumed up all of the tracked litter. She was at our house caring for Frannie exactly when she said she would be, and I know this because we have a ring doorbell. I have already rebooked for our next trip.”

About: The family for my last petsit said this: "[Our dog] had nothing but wonderful things to say about you, she was very happy when we got home, that means she didn't feel upset at all. Yay!!! Thank you again!! " I've cared for households with multiple pets, including cats, dogs, multiple cats, multiple dogs, and a combination of the above. I've often had people reach back out to me to sit for them again. I love to follow your instructions as closely as possible to help out your animals with the stress of owner absence. I find it important to take time to play with and sit with animals. I'm familiar with giving pets medication, whether through pill pockets, food, or other methods. If your kitties are particular about litter cleaning, I am happy to provide that more frequently as well. I work with energy and empathy in my other jobs, so I am able to bring a calm presence for animals and pay attention to their energy when caring for them. I value consent-based interaction, so I allow animals to warm up to me before petting them. I have flexible work, so I can arrange to stay with your pets or drop in at your convenience. One of my jobs works well with being at home, so I can stay put. I tend to lock doors, being familiar with city living. Integrity and trust are paramount to me, so you can trust that I will treat your home well and honor any areas you don't want me to be in. I know it's a lot to trust a stranger in your home while you are away -- I am happy to provide references and other information to make you feel safe. You know your pet best, so I pay attention to how you make sure your pets stay inside to keep it that way. I am always happy to text updates and pictures :)

I genuinely love animals, and they always seem to make themselves right at home with me. I am a full time teacher and currently have the whole summer off, so my schedule is pretty open. I am also available overnight if needed. I have a fenced yard but I also love going for walks with my dog. My cat is indoor and has his feelings on a schedule.

About: I’ve had cats and dogs my entire life and genuinely love being around animals. I have experience watching both dogs and cats for others and always make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owners are away. I treat every pet like family — honestly, I like animals more than humans. I work full time, but I’m only a couple minutes from home and have a flexible schedule. About: What sets me apart from other sitters is the level of care, consistency, and attention I give to every pet. I don’t just stop in to complete tasks—I take the time to understand each animal’s personality, routine, and comfort level so they feel safe and relaxed while you’re away. I carefully follow feeding schedules, instructions, and any special care requirements, and I always make sure your home and your pet’s space stay clean and well-maintained. I plan my schedule around visits to ensure pets are fed, exercised, and given attention at consistent times. I’m reliable, flexible, and able to accommodate morning, afternoon on weekends and can provide full evening care, making sure each pet gets the time and consistency they need. I treat every home with respect and make sure pets are always in a safe, comfortable environment. tailor my care based on each pet’s routine and the specific service requested, whether it’s drop-in visits, walks, or extended stays. In a client’s home, I focus on keeping everything as normal and stress-free as possible. I follow feeding schedules, provide fresh water, walks, playtime, and plenty of attention. I’m also attentive to litter box or yard cleanup, administering medications if needed, and maintaining a clean, safe environment. I respect your home, keep things tidy, and always make sure doors, gates, and pets are secure before leaving. No matter the setting, my goal is to provide consistent, reliable care so your pet feels comfortable, safe, and well cared for while you’re away.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Indian Orchard
Though the drop-in visit wasn't successful, James and Reichel were fantastic through the entire process. After the first meet and greet on Monday Reichel came by again on Friday, on her own time and at her suggestion, just to try to make Dessa more comfortable. Well, Dessa is an 11ish year old German Shepherd who was found as a stray a year ago, and it's only been a month since I adopted her (from SC to MA). She's still settling in at home, tentative but usually eventually okay with strangers. Friday's quick visit went great, but today she wasn't up for something unfamiliar, and that's understandable. If she gets more comfortable with people over time, I will 100% return to James and Reichel when needed. Excellent communication all along the way, and they truly understood and cared for Dessa, even though she wasn't nearly so friendly in return 😆

I am so glad that I booked with Seth. He truly loves animals and treated my pup as if she were his own family’s pet. He engaged her in playtime and much needed cuddles. Seth is dependable and trustworthy. I appreciated the updates and pictures he sent faithfully after each and every visit. I will definitely have Seth care for my furry family again! THANKS for a job well done!
