My personal requirements for dogs I accept: I am a firm believer in training dogs. I only accept dogs that have had at least minimal training with their owner. This is an exception if you have a puppy or new dog and you are still working on training. Your dog must be potty trained. (An exception to this is a new dog or puppy working on potty training, another exception is a senior dog, or sick dog.) Your dog must know basic commands such as “sit” “down” and “come” ect. They don’t have to be perfect, but at least that you’ve been working on it with them. I believe dogs are constantly learning and it’s good to give them opportunities to learn new tricks. I absolutely make sure to use the same routines, training techniques, & rules you already have in place. At the meet & greet please let me know all of all commands you use and rules you have for your dog. If the dog is a puppy or newly adopted and you are still working on these that is completely okay! Please just make me aware. I do not accept dogs with a bite history or any aggressive history. Meet & Greets: Meet and greets are required before booking. 1st meet & greet is free. If you need multiple meet and greets (for very shy or anxious pets) price is TBD. All pets that I will be caring for must be present at meet & greet. House sitting: During house sittings I will be staying at your house. I do have repeat walks each week. I try to not be gone for more than 4 hours at a time, but no more than 6 hours. Though feeding times and medication times will always be given as directed. If there will be anyone at your house at my time of house sitting house keepers, repair people ect. For my safety please make me aware. Other pets: I am more than happy to help with animals other than just dogs and cats. I do have experience caring for ducks, ferrets, Though I would still need a breakdown of your pets specific care and feeding routine. Pending/ holding days: I can hold days but not for more than 1 week OR 4 weeks before. Whichever is sooner. If you’re not 100% sure if you need me for dates yet but you want to “hold” / have dates “pending” I won’t show up in the search as “available” for other clients. I need at least 3 weeks before dates to have a definite confirmation. Please read cancellation policy for cancellation policy. About me: I have 2 female Golden Retrievers. I enjoy spending my off time with them hiking or camping. I also enjoy gardening and visiting new places.
