WFH, 7 years in dog care industries
I've worked at several canine care facilities in three states over the course of seven years. I am proficient in training as well as facilitating safe play and exercise and I work from home full time. My husband is also experienced in the canine care field (where we met a years ago). We live in an active and very dog friendly neighborhood and take lots of walks to ensure that your dogs get enough activity and attention while they spend time away from home! We also have a spacious, fully fenced in yard. I am comfortable with short or long-term stays, dogs with special or medical needs, high energy or older dogs, having plenty of experience through my previous job which allowed me to dog-sit through the company. We have a nearly one-year old child who loves to look at dogs but has learned that we don’t allow him to physically interact with dogs (until he is much older/more in control of his body!) My knowledge of canine behavior and medical needs through years of supervisory positions in canine care companies is something I can apply now while caring for your dog.

This was our first time using a pet sitter on Rover so we were a little nervous about it going in, but Jess was fantastic! She took amazing care of our pets while we were gone, kept great communication with us, sent us good pictures of the pets that my kids loved to see. She was attentive to detail in any changes that she noticed on our pets while we were away, she followed all instructions for feeds and care. Jess is awesome. We would love to have her care for our pets again in the future.

Jessiana and her husband took amazing care of Riley and Hudson for the long Memorial Day weekend. I got daily updates from Jessiana. The dogs loved there time with Jessiana and her family. I would recommend her to all dog parents!

Schedule
I work from home with a flexible schedule, so I have plenty of time to play with your dog and take them for walks or outside in the yard to run around. My husband is a teacher and is home by 3pm to provide additional engagement.

A typical day
My son and I love going on walks with the dogs I care for, both around our neighborhood and in neighboring parks, if approved by the dog's parent. I send lots of pictures, so you can rest assured your dog is having a great time on their mini-vacation!
