Thanks to my experience in work and as a volunteer at the TJO animal shelter, I have a keen eye for canine body language and developing trust in dogs that may be wary of new people. As a part of these duties, I've walked many dogs of varying temperaments, including reactive dogs, along popular walking routes and know what it takes to make sure everyone is happy and safe.

Before booking, it is important to know about any health concerns regarding your pet, how well they get along with other animals and people, and how they react to others while on leash. I also like to know what they usual routine is on a walk, such as if they like to spend a lot of time sniffing or if they tend to pull, just so I know what to expect.

Playtime and enrichment is important for every dog. On walks, this may mean stopping to let them sniff for an extended time, as processing smells uses a lot of brain power for dogs, or taking them down a street or path that is new to them so that they can experience new sights and smells. On rainy days I often play scent and puzzle games with clients so that they still feel engaged and stimulated.

Lifetime dog lover and have experience with large and/or reactive dogs. Dogs and cats have always been a part of my life. Professionally, I was formerly a dog handler and a facility manager at a pet resort in Hadley, where I helped care for 50-60 dogs on a daily basis. Now, I am a full time walker, sitter, and photographer. I've gained the trust of many pets that were unsure of new people and I enjoy taking my camera along with me for extra nice photos to share with families while they're away. I also use my dog knowledge and photography to help dogs at TJO animal shelter by walking them every week and getting photos to share with the community.

Giuseppe is an exceptional dog walker, responsible, thoughtful, patient, great communicator, always punctual. He worked with our frisky Siberian Husky puppy and was great with her. He always provided great notes from the day and beautiful photographs.
