About: My pets have ranged from lively German shepherds to disabled chihuahuas, wandering hounds, lively Shetland sheepdogs. and even feral cats and their litter of kittens who claimed my home as theirs until they were ready, healthy, and cleared to go to loving homes. I have 30 years experience with puppies through seniors - health needs through special needs. Training for puppies on leash walks through walking seniors in a stroller. I excel at bonding and building trust with pets and look to have a unique connection with each. I am currently working part time (remotely) and fully available to care for your pets, play with them, give them all the attention, care, and love they deserve! Morning, afternoon, evening, late night care is well within my timeframe. Caring for your dog: I will only walk on leash - no unleashed care unless within a fully fenced backyard. If you are training your dog, I will be able to continue with training. I am able to administer medication if needed. If your dog has any allergies or requires special food, please be sure to let me know. Happy to perform brushing or baths if needed. Pets, hugs, playtime, or lounging and relaxing - whatever their preference and makes them feel safe, relaxed, and comfortable. As for caring for your cats, I request a full schedule of their feeding times, and recommendations as to what they enjoy playing with. If they like to be brushed, please note. If they are skittish or love attention from people, please let me know so I can provide them with a level of care that will allow them to feel safe.

About: I have had medium/large dogs for most of my life. I have taken care of a 35lb Australian Cattle dog as well as 2 pit bulls between 55-70lbs. I've also dog-sat a dog under 10lbs and walked dogs who were 140lbs. I've also worked in home with families who had cats ranging in size and demeanor. I work full time which is why I can only do sitting on weekends. I am looking to do more hobbies and this seems like something fun for me to add. I care for my dog Zelda who's partially blind so I have an awareness for disabled pups. That is also the reason I cannot board dogs in my home. I would likely spend a large portion of my day with the dog I'm taking care of, giving them some kind of walk during the day and making sure to lock up each time I leave the home. I would make sure they are fed on time and receive the same kind of loving care I give my dogs at home.

“Elizabeth watched my two dogs for the first time for two nights. My two seven year old boys are higher energy requiring more attention than many other dogs. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. She is incredibly sweet, attentive, and deeply responsible. Both my dog felt right at home from early on and absolutely enjoyed the walks and playtime. She sent me regular updates with pictures allowing total peace of mind. Perhaps more importantly, my two knuckleheads found a new best friend and I found a sitter that will definitely be used again for future needs.”
