“Bri was amazing! It made a very last minute booking but she did a great job of reassuring me that she would, "Take care of those babies." I wasn't able to meet her before she came but she handled my kitties like an absolute legend. Will 1000% be requesting her again. What a rock star!”

About: I've loved and cared for dogs for most of my life, and currently have a Chihuahua mix named Chico and a cat named Frankie. I'm a good-hearted and easygoing person excited to spend my free time with some lovable pooches! Chico is an 11-year-old rescue, who loves ice cream and burying himself in blankets. Frankie is a snoozy indoor cat, but loves playing with Chico occasionally. For all of my bookings, I like to provide lots of attention to each pet, and create a comfortable environment for them. I’ve had a ton of fun with the pets I've met so far, and I would love to meet some more furry friends and owners soon! I currently work from home full time in the healthcare industry. I am looking to offer sitting services in my free time, but can likely be flexible with my schedule. Safety for all pets is my biggest priority, whether they are my own or yours. I’m open to any information that would make your pets feel more comfortable, and would love to answer any questions during a meet and greet before a service.
“Pleasure to work with and coordinate the visit. Highly recommend Katie to anyone who wants detailed attention for their fur baby. We’ll be using her services on a routine basis. Thank you for making Kai’s first experience an enjoyable one!”

“Erin was absolutely amazing! She took such wonderful care of my cat, Tinky, and my elderly Chihuahua, Sasha, for five days while I was away in Puerto Rico. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing they were in such caring hands. She was incredibly kind, patient, and gentle with Sasha, making sure my senior pup was comfortable and well cared for. She also handled Tinky's persistent attempts to convince her to let him outside with so much patience and good humor! Eryn went above and beyond, and it was clear she genuinely cared about both of my pets. I came home to two happy, well-loved animals, and I couldn't have asked for a better pet sitter. I highly recommend Eryn to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, compassionate, and reliable. Thank you so much, Eryn! We will hope to use her again and again .”

About: I am an aspiring veterinary nurse with multiple years of experience in animal welfare. I have 3 cats with complex medical needs, so I am well equipped to provide medications or other special care- within my "purrview"! I am a crazy cat lady at heart but love dogs as well. I have experience with drop in visits for cats & dogs, as well as overnight stays. I treat every animal with love & respect and look forward to giving your furry family members some comfort while you're away 🩷 I currently work full time, so I am able to do drop-in visits or walks in the early morning or evening hours. I am able to drop in to give medications, go on walks, or just play & snuggle! I am extremely vigilant about the safety of my home for my own pets, and will carry this attention to detail into your home as well.
About: Hi! My name is Kayla, and I’m an Animal Science student with professional experience caring for dogs and a lifetime of experience caring for cats. I offer care in client’s homes through drop-in visits, walks and extended drop-ins. I spent 2 years working at a dog rescue, where I cared for dogs of all sizes, breeds, ages, and personalities. My responsibilities included feeding, cleaning kennels, exercising dogs, monitoring their health and behavior, and helping nervous or shy dogs feel comfortable. Working with rescue dogs taught me how to read body language, stay calm in new situations, and provide patient, compassionate care. I’ve also been a cat owner since I was eight years old and have had four cats throughout my life. My senior cat became disabled later in life, so I have experience with medication, grooming, litter box care, and adapting routines for pets with special needs. That experience gave me a special place in my heart for senior animals and pets who need a little extra patience. I know every pet has their own personality and routine, and I do my best to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. Whether your pet enjoys walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply quiet companionship, I’ll care for them as if they were my own. I also love keeping owners updated with photos and messages, so you can have peace of mind while you’re away! As a full-time Animal Science student, I schedule pet care around my classes and keep my availability updated on Rover. I only accept bookings I can fully commit to, and once I accept a booking your pet becomes a priority. I offer reliable drop-in visits and dog walking, and I’m happy to spend extra time with your pets when needed to make sure they receive plenty of attention, exercise, and companionship. I provide care in my clients’ homes through drop-in visits, walks, and extended drop-ins so pets can stay comfortable in their familiar environment. I take the time to learn each pet’s routine, feeding schedule, medications, exercise needs, and any special instructions. I always treat my clients’ homes with respect, make safety my top priority, and provide regular photo and message updates so you know your pet is happy and well cared for.
“Our two cats really liked Mickala. She went above and beyond helping us with several situations such as trimming a cat's nails and cleaning up some ants which got into the auto-feeders.”

“It was such a relief to know Jacklyn would be checking on our girls while we were away. We also had to reschedule very last minute and she was incredibly flexible and kind about the changes. Our cats are very shy and hide, but with a bit of patience (and treats!) Jacklyn was able to get eyes on at least one of them! We will absolutely be rebooking the next time we go away. Thank you so much!!”

“Robin is very organized, detailed, & thoughtful and provided regular updates. She agreed to take care of my senior cat with little advance notice & did not complain about the difficulties of caring for an old kitty (messy potty). Thanks so much to Robin— I really appreciate your help! Would recommend!”

“Alissa was awesome! She was kind, communicated clearly throughout the process, and did a great job with our very anxious pup. We're so grateful that she was able to take care of him while we were gone, and I would definitely recommend her!”

About: The family for my last petsit said this: "[Our dog] had nothing but wonderful things to say about you, she was very happy when we got home, that means she didn't feel upset at all. Yay!!! Thank you again!! " I've cared for households with multiple pets, including cats, dogs, multiple cats, multiple dogs, and a combination of the above. I've often had people reach back out to me to sit for them again. I love to follow your instructions as closely as possible to help out your animals with the stress of owner absence. I find it important to take time to play with and sit with animals. I'm familiar with giving pets medication, whether through pill pockets, food, or other methods. If your kitties are particular about litter cleaning, I am happy to provide that more frequently as well. I work with energy and empathy in my other jobs, so I am able to bring a calm presence for animals and pay attention to their energy when caring for them. I value consent-based interaction, so I allow animals to warm up to me before petting them. I have flexible work, so I can arrange to stay with your pets or drop in at your convenience. One of my jobs works well with being at home, so I can stay put. I tend to lock doors, being familiar with city living. Integrity and trust are paramount to me, so you can trust that I will treat your home well and honor any areas you don't want me to be in. I know it's a lot to trust a stranger in your home while you are away -- I am happy to provide references and other information to make you feel safe. You know your pet best, so I pay attention to how you make sure your pets stay inside to keep it that way. I am always happy to text updates and pictures :)
“Ace was wonderful with our kitty. Attentive, caring, and communicated a lot along the way. Didn’t shy away from having to give him insulin. I would absolutely use them again for cat sitting!”

About: I have experience taking care of pets with varying attachment styles - ranging from anxious, young dogs to elderly, affectionate cats who need lots of attention! I am very adaptable and can match a pet's energy levels well. I appreciate taking the time to get to know a pet in order to build a comfortable bond. I am a local graduate student, I mostly have classes in the mornings during the week and currently have limited responsibilities outside of school, so I have lots of time to dedicate to pet care. I like to learn pets' physical boundaries, so I ease into how I approach playing and petting with them. When I have cared for anxious pets who experience separation anxiety when away from their owners, I focus my care on maintaining a calm environment in the home while making sure they are fed and hydrated.
“Dorjee helped me out by providing a last-minute extended drop-in visit to care for my cat, which reassured me quite a bit. She made sure my cat was well fed and given her medication. Appreciated!”

“Alexandra was reliable and took great care in making sure the cats were taken care of as we discussed. She cleaned everything up nicely very communicative and again in a heartbeat! Thank you!”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
