“Samantha was a great choice for our two dogs! We had a last minute trip to attend a funeral and Sam stepped in with very little notice to walk both pups several times a day. Even with bad weather and two differently aged dogs, she was able to give them both a quality visit/pee break/exercise. She takes cute photos for pet parents missing their pups and is also observant to detail — for example, she reached out to ask if everything was okay when she noticed one of my dogs was placed in a different part of the house by their overnight sitter. It was so relieving to know she had their best interest at heart and took care of them as I would. Thank you Sam!!”

About: I’ve taken care of both cats & dogs for my friends & family for several years, and have my own 1 year old Aussie mix pup! I currently have a very flexible schedule and will always try to make things work! I am also available weekends, and early mornings / evenings throughout the week. I am organized & very neat, and I have a very calm, gentle & friendly Aussie mix who can play & keep your pets company—only if you & your pup are comfortable with that, of course!

“Rebecca is the most responsible, caring pet caregiver I know. When she was last at my house she spent so much time engaging with my cat and keeping him entertained. He was glued to her the whole time she was here. He ended up escaping while she was here (we had just moved into a new house and I didn't know one of the doors didn't latch closed) and she dropped everything to help me find him - and was in fact the one who ended up finding him outside! Rebecca is also skilled with caring for animals with special needs. Her dog Sylvie developed a terminal health condition and when she was finally able to obtain an accurate diagnosis, did a massive amount of research into it and adapted her care so successfully that Sylvie's quality of life improved tremendously. She built a bailey chair for her and carefully fed her each meal, often cooking her the only things she would eat. Sylvie stuck around much longer than expected purely because of the meticulous and loving way Rebecca cared for her. In short, Rebecca would always be my first choice to care for any pet of mine regardless of circumstance. She has such a genuine love of animals and attention to detail that would allow any pet parent to rest easy that their instructions are being followed and their pet is being well looked after, and well loved.”

About: Hi, I'm Julia. I live between Arlington, MA, and Northampton. I am a lifelong animal lover, and have a ton of pet care experience both professionally and personally. I am comfortable with all ages, breeds, and sizes of dogs, but I know it is very important they are comfortable with me as well! I am happy to meet initially to learn more about your pet and how to best care for them. I studied animal behavior in school and am a huge believer in positive reinforcement training. I look forward to getting to know this member of your family! I currently work part time, but I am generally free different days of the week (right now Fridays and Mondays) as well as some other evenings during the week. Getting to know an animal requires lots of patience and sensitivity to its individual needs. I like to know as much as I can about them from their owners, and to use that knowledge to introduce myself to them and care for them in a comfortable way.

About: I was blessed with a feline friend at the age of 2. Although I do not remember all of our times together, she has been by my side through all of life's up's and down's. We have even experienced the responsibility of sharing our home with 2 more companions: a Maltese and a Chihuahua! It is quite a random pool of different beings! Nevertheless, we all seem to get along. I do all I can to ensure their well being is top notch. You really grow a love for your companion(s) and it's hard to not care for them. I am full time and have no restrictions to my schedule. I am available as early as 6:00am and can accommodate appointments during sundown. I am easy to communicate with and straightforward with negotiations. It is a dogs fantasy: a large neighborhood with quiet streets to explore, 2 nearby parks to frolic and play, with a dog park frequently visited by other furry friends and their owners.
