About: Hi! My name is Kayla, and I’m an Animal Science student with professional experience caring for dogs and a lifetime of experience caring for cats. I offer care in client’s homes through drop-in visits, walks and extended drop-ins. I spent 2 years working at a dog rescue, where I cared for dogs of all sizes, breeds, ages, and personalities. My responsibilities included feeding, cleaning kennels, exercising dogs, monitoring their health and behavior, and helping nervous or shy dogs feel comfortable. Working with rescue dogs taught me how to read body language, stay calm in new situations, and provide patient, compassionate care. I’ve also been a cat owner since I was eight years old and have had four cats throughout my life. My senior cat became disabled later in life, so I have experience with medication, grooming, litter box care, and adapting routines for pets with special needs. That experience gave me a special place in my heart for senior animals and pets who need a little extra patience. I know every pet has their own personality and routine, and I do my best to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. As a full-time Animal Science student, I schedule pet care around my classes and keep my availability updated on Rover. I only accept bookings I can fully commit to, and once I accept a booking your pet becomes a priority. I offer reliable drop-in visits and dog walking, and I’m happy to spend extra time with your pets when needed to make sure they receive plenty of attention, exercise, and companionship. I provide care in my clients’ homes through drop-in visits, walks, and extended drop-ins so pets can stay comfortable in their familiar environment. I take the time to learn each pet’s routine, feeding schedule, medications, exercise needs, and any special instructions. I always treat my clients’ homes with respect, make safety my top priority, and provide regular photo and message updates so you know your pet is happy and well cared for.

About: I have experience taking care of pets with varying attachment styles - ranging from anxious, young dogs to elderly, affectionate cats who need lots of attention! I am very adaptable and can match a pet's energy levels well. I appreciate taking the time to get to know a pet in order to build a comfortable bond. I am a local graduate student, I mostly have classes in the mornings during the week and currently have limited responsibilities outside of school, so I have lots of time to dedicate to pet care. About: Unavailable in the Seattle area until mid-January. I have been caring for large dogs as part of my family since I was a child. Now, I have multiple clients for whom I provide dog-sitting services. I have experience looking after a wide range of dogs, from big to small and of all ages. When I was younger, I volunteered at Family Dog Rescue in San Francisco. More recently, I spent some time at Emerald City Pet Rescue, where I cared for small dogs and cats. Currently, I am responsible for the week-long care of a senior Labrador (for the past 4 years), and I help another household with hunting dog mixed breeds. I am also capable of handling both low-energy and high-energy dogs. I am currently on winter break until late January and have high availability. I am also willing to take care of people's pets when I am back home for other breaks and near my university (Amherst, MA) I always make sure to give pets their own time to adjust to me and their environment. About: Hello my name is Nieves, I have been a devoted animal lover my whole life! I enjoy spending time with animals, and lived with my own beloved dog Roscoe Burgers, until he passed in the fall. I believe every animal is unique and special, and worth getting to know. I am looking to spend time with your furry loved ones, be it going on a walk, or give you complete peace of mind while you are away from home.
