Tanya has been looking after him when I go out of town for about a year now, and she has been nothing but a saint to him. She is always willing to meet him where he is and keeps his well being front of mind, and hasn’t let him deter her from taking the best care of him that she possibly can. She is a wonderful sitter and I feel very lucky to have found her.”

About: I’ve taken care of my family and friends dogs and cats. They have relied on me to feed, water, walk and occasionally give oral medication. I’m currently working up to 30 hours (4 days a week) over the summer while getting my masters at Smith College. I cannot afford to have a dog or cat of my own. I would love to be able give love to other peoples pets, it would be the best part of my day! I will make sure to take safety measures that are given/told to me very seriously. About: I have been caring for large dogs as part of my family since I was a child. Now, I have multiple clients for whom I provide dog-sitting services. After moving to New England, I worked at a cat hospice and later as a veterinary assistant at an emergency hospital. I’ve always had animals since I was a kid—especially cats—and I’ve also cared for reptiles, small pets like hamsters, and even fish. I’ve lived in many homes over the years and have often housesat for friends and family, so I’m comfortable caring for both pets and the spaces they love. I even have experience as a house cleaner and organizer and believe in leaving spaces better than I found them. Pet care fits easily into my daily routine. I work part-time as a cheer coach a couple of times a week and occasionally help with our family business, but my schedule is very flexible. This allows me to be available most days for quality time, pet visits, walks, and check-ins.
