“James is such an amazing cat sitter and cat whisperer! He enjoys hanging with each cat, brushing them, petting them and playing with them. He is reliable and consistent. It was a comfort being away, knowing our kitties were in such good hands.”

“Matt stayed with our two cats and administered insulin to our oldest cat Mojo despite some challenges with Mojo being uncooperative. Matt was good at communicating any issues and seeking help. He cared for our house very well and left it clean and in good shape. I would recommend Matt.”
“Tanya did an excellent job with our kitties! They bonded with her right away during the meet and greet, even our shy girl Margot. Tanya clearly is an animal lover and treated our kitties very well while we were gone!”

“Heather was great. She not only coaxed Jasmine the Unpredictable to allow herself to be petted--she went out of her way to water my container plants because the weather was so dry! Will use her again.”

“Molly was communicative and thoughtful with my cats. They seemed like I’d hardly been gone when I got home! She checked in about any questions and was great to work with.”

“Karl was incredibly kind and communicative. My cats felt like they were at home and they were only there for two days. He was incredibly flexible with pick up and drop off and even left work to meet me in the middle of his day. I would highly recommend Karla for any and all pets :)”
About: I have lived with cats my entire life. I love cats and am extremely comfortable with any types of specific cat care needs. I am happy to play, entertain, feed, and just keep your cat company while you are away in addition to any other detailed needs according to your pet's routine and comfort zone. I am immensely responsible, tidy and have a flexible work schedule that allows me to visit frequently or stay at your home as desired. I am someone you can fully trust in your home and with your cat. I currently work a remote job from my home in Northampton so my hours and schedule are flexible. I am able to visit your home frequently or stay overnight because I can bring my work with me. Hours and days are very open in order to meet your needs. I can work with you on whatever schedule you desire. I am immensely organized, responsible and can follow instructions to a tee. I will keep your pet's spaces clean and tidy and follow their regular routine to make for a seamless vist/care experience and keep your pet content and calm! I am very trustworthy and someone you can feel comfortable having stay or visit your home while I care for your cat.
“Anne was a great sitter for our cats. She provided detailed updates after each visit and sent photos each time. She is very responsible and reliable. We had peace of mind knowing that Anne was checking on our cats while we were away. Highly recommend!”

“Grace was lovely to work with and she provided excellent care for our two cats! Regular communication and great pictures of our kitties each day. Would be happy to have her pet sit for us again.”

About: I have experience working with many different animals including cats, dogs, guinea pigs, and even cattle. I love spending time with animals and currently working as a veterinary assistant at a small animal clinic. I have lots of experience pet sitting and dog walking and also have experience working around livestock so no dog is too big! Walking your dog will be of great enjoyment for both myself and your pet and I will work to create a bond between me and your pet so that we both make the most of our time. I can’t wait to work with you and your fur baby! I work full time (M-F) at a small animal clinic, so pet sitting and dog walking is something I do on the side, so I can spend more time with animals! If possible I like to meet dogs for the first time with their owner around to lower their stress and slightly away from their home if possible (particularly if they are known to be protective of their homes).
About: I’ve worked with animals for 10 years, starting as a dog groomer and day-care worker! I have done house and animal care for the last five years as a way to hang out with pets while I can’t have my dog with me. I am happy with all breeds and ages of animals, and love to be active and outside so if your dog loves a good walk I will be their friend! I’m currently working part time so I have lots of flexibility. I work in the evenings Thursday-Sunday 4-7.30pm. I am a full time graduate student at Smith College so I am now on break! I am happy to follow your guidelines based on what your pet and home needs are. I can’t accept animals at my apartment. Happy to communicate with you about what you are looking for!
“Great experience with Emily. She's conscientious, reliable, sends terrific and fun updates on each visit, and is willing to take on extra tasks like taking our cat to the vet when we discovered he had worms right before leaving town. She and our cat Zeke really hit it off, as I'm sure she would with any animal. Would definitely book her again.”

“We had Ken for a 2 day house sit for our dog, Flash. In all of our years using Rover, we’ve rarely had a sitter who loves Flash as much (maybe more!) than we do. Ken even made a special late evening visit outside of those that were scheduled just to make sure Flash had a little extra love before bed. We came back to a tidy home and happy pooch. Will definitely have Ken back again!”

About: I have cared and worked with cats and dogs since a young age. I will take my time to get to know your animals and they will trust and look forward to seeing me! I work at a high school Monday-Friday 7:45-2:15. I spend my early mornings drinking coffee and getting ready, and am available to spend those in addition to my afternoons, evenings, and weekends with your animals! I fully communicate with clients to ensure set boundaries and specific pet care needs. I can be hands on and active, or simply a presence in the room to ease anxiety.
About: I am intuitive and attentive to the animals feelings and needs. I focus on their happiness and well being. I engage constantly, feed them delicious nutrients, exercise them well and try to make our short time as positive as I can. I truly enjoy prioritizing and bonding with them! I have fostered dogs for over a year and have experience with all personalities and breeds. I take care of pets part-time, but when they’re with me they will be my priority as if they were my own. Lots of outdoor time and playtime. I can crate train, but I have experience and am comfortable without. I want the animal to be as comfortable as possible, so they are free to treat my home as their own.
About: I have had 2 dogs for over 10 years now just recently one past away losing that connection has made me want to be able to be there for other dog's like I am to my own. I have pet sit for family friends when they attend vacations or work events. I currently work part-time, so I am available in the early mornings and afternoons. I work nights on Mondays and Wednesday but are usually out by 9pm. I have a dog and 2 cats, So I am not sure how my dog would react to another dog living in her home. I do have a crate and a yard to walk on leash but no fence to free roam.

“Bree was very thoughtful and made sure to send updates and pictures everyday. This was the first time leaving my cats in the care of someone they were unfamiliar with and she did a wonderful job keeping both of them comfortable (even my cat whose a little skeptical of people he doesn’t know). I’ll definitely be using her services again in the future!”

“Lauren was amazing with my baby birds and cats!! I was so incredibly nervous to have someone watch over my baby parakeets while I was gone for a few days, and Lauren made me feel great about leaving them under her care. She did everything I asked of her, and sent me lovely photos and texts. Highly recommend Lauren for any pet care needs you may have--I'll definitely be hiring her again if I need another pet sitter!!”

West Hatfield cat parents share their Rover experiences
Tanya has done drop in visits for our cat previously, so I fully trusted her to watch over Steve again. My apartment was so clean when we returned, our cat seemed super happy, and I could tell they had a great time together. Her daily recaps were so cute and helpful too! I would definitely recommend Tanya :)

Kelli is great!! The cats were totally cool with her checking in on them, and they can be kinda cranky/stand-off-ish, but Kelli let them do their thing and took great care of them! Our cat who typically doesn't like anyone near them allowed Kelli to pet them a few times - which is a lot! Will definitely book Kelli again and recommend her to anyone!
