“James is such an amazing cat sitter and cat whisperer! He enjoys hanging with each cat, brushing them, petting them and playing with them. He is reliable and consistent. It was a comfort being away, knowing our kitties were in such good hands.”

“Matt stayed with our two cats and administered insulin to our oldest cat Mojo despite some challenges with Mojo being uncooperative. Matt was good at communicating any issues and seeking help. He cared for our house very well and left it clean and in good shape. I would recommend Matt.”
“Heather was very kind and attentive when watching my cats. She sent lots of photos, asked thoughtful questions when she met them and left the place tidy and they were well cared for. Thank you Heather!”

“Tanya was outstanding - she was communicative and took great care of our three cats. She also administered our asthmatic cat’s inhaler which is not always easy. She went above and beyond and gave the same care we would for our girls. She also made time to play and engage with out chats beyond feeding and litterboxes. Tanya is amazing and we would love to have her catsit again!”

“Alexis did a wonderful job caring for my two cats, Echo and Raven! From the beginning, it was clear how much she genuinely loves animals — she connected with my girls right away during the meet and greet, which made me feel instantly at ease. While I was away, she kept me updated with lots of adorable photos and thoughtful messages, which I absolutely loved. It was so reassuring to see how relaxed and content Echo and Raven looked — they were clearly getting plenty of love, affection and playtime. She even took out the trash and vacuumed around the apartment, which I truly appreciated so much! I’m so grateful for the care and affection Alexis gave my girls, and I look forward to having her care for them again! She is an amazing sitter, I highly recommend!”

“Pepper is new to us and we weren’t sure how she would handle being mostly alone for over a week, but she loved her time with Bena and was so happy and relaxed when we returned. Thank you, Bena!”

“Karl was incredibly kind and communicative. My cats felt like they were at home and they were only there for two days. He was incredibly flexible with pick up and drop off and even left work to meet me in the middle of his day. I would highly recommend Karla for any and all pets :)”
“Jeremy was awesome. It was my first time using Rover, just after moving to a new home, and Jeremy was patient and attentive to my nervous cat who was still getting used to a new setting. He was communicative and professional, respectful of my home, and I highly recommend him to anyone interested!”

About: I’m currently a Smith master’s of clinical social work student working an unpaid internship in order to graduate this August. I’m in the need of funds to support myself and I’d love to take care of some lovely creatures to do so. I’ve grown up with numerous pets. Bunnies, cats, tons of dogs, and even a hedgehog. I have experience walking small dogs and big dogs. My dog back at my mom’s house is a 200 pound St. Bernard so he gave me all the experience I need. Living by myself in Northampton I have 3 cats that I love more than anything, but I have always loved all animals and want to help others take care of theirs. I currently work in Northampton 9-5 Mon-Weds but get off early on Thursdays. I have potential time Monday-Weds nights to stop by, but most of my services are available more so on Thursdays-Sundays. Feel free to reach out and we can make sure your desired schedule works with mine! I have always treated my pets with tons of respect for their boundaries. Having 3 cats I know that some pets need space. I will carry that attitude into taking care of your pet.
About: I have cared and worked with cats and dogs since a young age. I will take my time to get to know your animals and they will trust and look forward to seeing me! I work at a high school Monday-Friday 7:45-2:15. I spend my early mornings drinking coffee and getting ready, and am available to spend those in addition to my afternoons, evenings, and weekends with your animals! I fully communicate with clients to ensure set boundaries and specific pet care needs. I can be hands on and active, or simply a presence in the room to ease anxiety.
“James was absolutely amazing! I would recommend him to anyone. He stayed in my home with my cat for over a week and sent regular updates with photos, and I could tell my cat was getting amazing care. I returned home to a happy and calm cat, the most I could ask for! James also left the house even cleaner and tidier than when I left it. Highly recommend James as a pet and house sitter!!”

About: I'm a long time animal caregiver. I grew up around a cast of cats and dogs, spent years volunteering as a dog walker for animal shelters, assisted with pet care as a nanny and household manager, and now care for a cat and dog of my own. I have a genuine love for animals of all temperaments and personalities and understand and appreciate the responsibility that comes with caring for someone else's pet. I prioritize a patient and gentle approach and collaborate with pet parents to be as informed as possible about each pet's unique needs. I work from home and have a somewhat flexible schedule, so I often have morning, mid-afternoon, and evening times available on weekdays. I'm also currently free most weekends. I'm always sure to keep pets safe and comfortable, to learn the routines and settings that each pet prefers, avoid potential sources of stress or discomfort, and to collaborate with pet owners regarding specific needs their pets may have

Leeds cat parents share their Rover experiences
Sharene is wonderful and patient with my shy cats. She understands how to give them space so they are comfortable while also trying to get them to engage and come out of their shells, and is making progress! She sends lovely detailed updates and lots of cute photos. You can tell she truly cares about the pets in her charge. Her visits are great for both my piece of mind and their confidence and socialization. I'm so happy they're learning to trust another person and making a new friend.

Kelli is great!! The cats were totally cool with her checking in on them, and they can be kinda cranky/stand-off-ish, but Kelli let them do their thing and took great care of them! Our cat who typically doesn't like anyone near them allowed Kelli to pet them a few times - which is a lot! Will definitely book Kelli again and recommend her to anyone!
